Don't take this the wrong way James, but I'd have happily watched 15 minutes of this without a word spoken. Truly a piece of automotive theatre for the history books. In my mind, videos like this are truly what your channel are about and why I've enjoyed it so much basically right from the start. Of course you own some incredible cars but how you use them to be enjoyed and create memories that we all dreamed of as kids truly wins my respect more than their financial values or horsepower numbers ever could. The sound of the TDF is the best engine sound ever! The Carrera GT and LFA have amazing sound, but overall the TDF sound is the greatest ever, especially the downshifts :) it makes me goosebumps, almost cry of joy. I would pay a "lot" of money just for getting in the passenger seat to listen to that sound. Thx for the videos James, and please give us more.

The lighting the day they went up there is the best I've ever seen. Straight up perfect. The sunset combined with the low clouds and blue sky contrasting with the orange of the mountain. That freeze frame is what you'd expect from a professional photoshoot and hours of photoshop work to get the highlights done properly. It's a video still from a fucking iphone. The light scattering affect from the clouds turned them into the biggest softboxes in the world. Unreal.

I'd just love to see companies like Ferrari ditch the power chasing and start making smaller displacement v12s again. Preserve the sound in a way that's less expensive for mother nature.

Thank you Mr JWW for sharing this glorious experience with us. My brother in law and I in 2009 rented an Alfa Romeo and ran the entire Targa Florio 44 km course as fast as was prudent given the conditions and alway tiptoeing through the towns. The local carabinieri waving to us on the fast sections where here in the States we would have been placed behind bars. My only suggestion for you would have been to share the local cuisine with us also as it is ranked as high as Mt Etna. We had an incredible lunch at AgroTurismo Targa Florio wichwe still remember, a first course of artichokes 6 different ways!!! Accompanied by a chilled local white wine. If only I had videoed the experience.
Been calling for more interaction with the car and scenery in your videos for awhile and that was perfect man!!! Keep the great content going. Less talking and more sounds and views with the expressions of memory making as well as talking about the relationship with the car and such roads and then talking about the cars performance was superb!!! Too many Videos out there just talking talking talking. Though interesting, can easily loose ones attention/interest. For let’s be honest, our attention is based highly in what we are interested in. Great content James. Keep such videos going more and more. Love seeing the cars, seeing the places, seeing the views/vistas and it’s topped off with your expression and elaboration of such experience. Loved this video

The V12 will live on for a while for both Ferrari and Lambo but it will have electrical assistance.
