What a merciful occupation, stealing their childhood and innocence and putting them in prisons is the greatest evil for them. Even greater than that is stealing their homes in Sheikh al-Jarrah and the West Bank and stealing their identity and culture. Also, whoever told you that they were not beaten, all those who came out of prison said so. They were severely beaten, even the women among them. As for the sexual assault, it is sufficient that we have evidence that an Israeli soldier assaulted a 16-year-old girl, and his fellow soldiers brag about killing unarmed civilians, women and men in the village of Tantura in the movie. What a disgusting thing. They brag about their terrorism in... Movie Well, tell us, Mr. Occupation, how did you get Palestine in 1948? They were ripped out of their beds on a saturday morning by terrorists and have been dragged to Hamas tunnels and kept locked in underground terror tunnels. What sick person could possibly even write something so incredibly insensitive ignorant. All these uneducated people that have never been to either place should really stop talking and get on a plane and go hang out with hamas for a week and then you can talk about being "well treated" What a joke. I honestly thought it was a joke when people said that but if this person is serious they are sooo misinformed!!!! They were NOT beaten or broken limbs that picture of that boy was fake. Wow are americans really this stupid and easily fooled to think israeli army is bad and hamas terrorist are good. I'm seriously terrifed that anyone with a brain can say that with a straight face. What bs have you been getting fed for the last 17 years of hamas murderous reign of terror over gazans who if they speak out against them are brutally murdered. Get your facts right please bc this thinking is so irresponsible and downright dangerous for all of humanity!! This is so sad. I honestly cant believe I just read such utter lies and have to say such an obvious thing I just can't understand when did hamas take over american social media. Bc this is absolutely insanity. Hamas is far more brutal than ISIS so NO they were not treated well. And Israel is a DEMOCRACY the only one in the middle east. So all these lies about it are just absurd and I really need to know if this is innocent ignorance or you know the truth and facts and chose to lie bc your anti semantic. I will tell you a little story. Imagine yourself living in your own house that you have owned for centuries. You and your siblings live in it in peace. Some of you are Muslims, some of you are Jews, and some of you are Christians. However, you live in a beautiful, peaceful coexistence. Then a person fleeing from World War II comes to you and you host him in your home and welcome him. You treat him well, then he turns into a psychopath who claims that the house is his. Then he takes your house by force, kills your father, rapes your mother, imprisons your brother, expels your sister from the house permanently, corners your younger brother in the bathroom, beats you every day, and deprives you of food and electricity. You are prevented from taking transportation inside the house or entering the airport. You have no right inside the house and cannot leave it if you wish. And if you raise your voice and try to demand freedom, you will die. Tell me, will you be able to live in peace like this, or will you resist to regain your home?

    After the Battle of Badr, Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him gave the prisoners 2 choices:
    1- Teach 10 muslims how to read or write.
    2- Have a relative pay thier ransom.
    William Muir states in his book The Life of Mahomet :
    “In pursuance of Mahomet's commands, the citizens of Medîna, and such of the Refugees as possessed houses, received the prisoners, and treated them with much consideration. "Blessings be on the men of Medina!" said one of these prisoners in later days; "they made us ride, while they themselves walked: they gave us wheaten bread to eat when there was little of it, contenting themselves with dates. It is not surprising that when, some time afterwards, their friends came to ransom them, several of the prisoners who had been thus received declared themselves adherents of Islam...Their kindly treatment was thus prolonged, and left a favourable impression on the minds even of those who did not at once go over to Islam"

    I am glad for your mom.
    But there is a tragedy in Gaza and in the occupied territories.
    This tragedy is ongoing, and the tragedy is not called Hamas. It is called the occupation and settlement of Palestinian land.
    ~~~
    The problem in the occupied territories is that Israeli settlers do not see themselves as settlers. They claim that God promised them the land from the river to the sea.
    Only the Palestinians see them as settlers.
    Settlers see themselves as God's chosen people, and they see whoever opposes them as a terrorist.
    ~~
    Solution?
    The solution must come from the Israeli state government and not from the settlers. The Israeli government must come to understand that illegal settlements block the peace and must be dealt with. In spite of the fact that it is painful to let go of the settlements, it is a must. Peace has a price. We cannot achieve peace without serious compromise.
    ~~
    Problem?
    The Israeli state government wants to settle Palestinian land and gives weapons to the settlers and uses the IDF to defend them and oppress the Palestinian population.
    ~~
    Therefore?
    More killings, more acts of terror, more fear, more instability for everyone, more $$$ for the military and military industrial complex. Misery and inhumanity wins the day.
    almost every other israeli hostage is saying the same thing. They were treated with respect and the women were honored by Hamas.
    Bet it hates some people to hear they was treated well. Doesn’t fit their narrative.
      As a candidate for office in 2020, President Joe Biden vowed to seek a quick return to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and to end the Trump administration’s maximum pressure campaign. During his transition, Iran launched its first salvo of nuclear escalation to test the incoming president’s resolve, beginning production of highly enriched uranium to 20 percent purity level - a provocation Tehran had avoided even at the height of the Trump administration’s maximum pressure campaign.2 Indeed, most of Iran’s nuclear expansion occurred after President Biden’s election.
      Despite Iran’s escalation and warnings from policy experts that pursuing a return to a flawed and already expiring nuclear deal would prove disastrous, President Biden shifted American policy from pressure to accommodation in hopes of facilitating the restoration of the JCPOA.4 Biden removed the Iran-backed Houthis from the State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations, rescinded the American snapback of UN sanctions at the Security Council, relaxed
      sanctions to free up cash for Iran to pay some debts and allow for increased oil exports to China, pulled European allies back from censuring Iran at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, and allowed Iran’s proxies in Iraq and Syria to attack U.S. forces with near impunity.5 In the hopes of brokering a deal quickly, Biden appointed Robert Malley to be his special envoy - a Washington insider well known for an ideology sympathetic to the mullahs in Tehran and their terror proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas.6 Maximum pressure had been replaced by maximum deference.
