    While the rear seal and bearings are still in the roters pull the front bearings and cap nut out. Then place the roter back on and place the nut back on and pull the roter down and out the seal and rear bearing will pop out onto the spindle and you wont nick the seelals or berings...

    18:52 whole job f'd if you dont pin correctly. Will feel like bearings bad if to loose, will feel drag if to tight. Finger tight, then eighth turn w tool. Back off to next keeper hole and new c pin every time. Definitely prefer hand packing grease, but great video and thanks. Took 2wd curs apart and was stuck on stupid rear seal. Must have been in for 200k and I was first soul to break free. Again great job. And thanks for posting.

    Thank you for doing this. Your video is very helpful,,,, especially in managing the springs... A tip for removing the inner bearing and seal. Remove The outer bearing then reinstall the large washer and nut. Gently with a little force grasped the rotor and pull forward. The washer will catch the inner bearing removing both it and the outer seal.

    Good evening, you are the man for this video. Thanks alot for this enlightment. I have a 2005 excursion and it was exactly like your truck brake wise 2WD. Watch out for those dragon flies. Lol. Your daughter's adorable just like mine 6yrs old. Thanks again. Take care.

    Very detailed but if you switching rotors ALWAYS ALWAYS change those bearings… never reuse…. Do the job 1 time now later you will be repeating it again to change bearings.

    Please pack the bearings properly, not like in your video, sorry. Use gloves with grease in your palm and press the edge of the bearing in the grease pushing the grease thru the rollers.

    would you recommend cleaning spindle off with cleaner and then re grease before putting new set up on?

    • @jeffreyplumber1975
      @jeffreyplumber1975 2 года назад +1

      no just clean it off with rag the oils in the grease will allow the rag to wipe it clean as a whistle

    • @earthscraper69
      @earthscraper69  2 года назад

      I agree with just using your hand with a rag.
