It's a blast! It's even better with more trucks but we typically run smaller rigs then. That makes the track feel bigger with more room to pass. Lots of fun either way.
I just watched this video, right after the very last one you posted. You two have came a LONG way, much better and faster, smoother drivers. Although I’m not sure if I like the demolition derby style race more (this one) or the cleaner ones 😂
@@Mr316jon316 thanks for giving an older one a watch! Glad to hear that, but driving dirty is fun sometimes too haha. Short courses can just bring that out in us I tell ya😂
Thanks! Definitely a blast, nice and tight for these trucks but that just makes for lots of bumping, haha. We run 14th scale on it too which gives a bit more room. Both are fun though.
Nice looking track. I'm glad that R/C seems to be coming back these days - I was big into it around late 90's / early 2000's when the hobby felt like it was in it's peak. There used to be a local place that had indoor dirt and road tracks, full parts shop, mechanic/setup area next to the track where you could work on your gear and get snacks from vending machines while waiting your turn, etc. It was a great place and community. I originally started with electric street / sport cars and moved onto Nitro stadium trucks. Everyone had their favorite brands and I was mainly an HPI guy. This video makes me want to get my old HPI Rush Evo out and running again. Wish I still had my old RS4 Rally kit too, those are rare now.
Thanks! In general it does seem to be going pretty strong these days, but tracks like you mentioned can be hard to keep going depending on location. Sounds awesome though! I have been wanting to put a rally track together, maybe I'll get around to it eventually.
@@PSF_RC-PatSmageFilms Yeah the place went under around 2003/2004 right as my generation got into skateboarding and etc. Some times when I think about that place fondly I can still smell the exhaust, marvel mystery oil and Sour Patch Kids. Good times.
Nice little backyard course. All dirt no clay. The way backyard racing should be. You guys got those cars hooked up. Looks like great fun, Loved the short course races the best. More please. 👍👍 😀😀
We do have a couple options to pick from for that! I usually like being at a little bit of a disadvantage to make sure it's closer but sometimes she is on it either way. Thanks for watching.
Thanks! I am lucky to have lots of room where I live. I’ve had bigger tracks but they are tough to maintain. Maybe I’ll get a bigger one going again but this one is a fun size for now.
Your wife is definitely the competitor and an excellent driver find out where your local indoor or outdoor track is it's fun racing up on the tower for either trophies or track bucks you can spend in the hobby shop if they have attached to the racetrack.... And to be fair to the other drivers she would have to start in the stock class... She would kick ass starting at novice
We have done quite a bit of real racing over the years and it’s a blast. The close outdoor track shut down though, unfortunately. She doesn’t seem to do as well with 2wd indoors and sometimes ends up kind of between the novice group and the stock group at our closest track. More practice needed, or maybe she would step it up if we did a video on it!
@@BumpierDrake960 it’s called LapTracker. It’s not perfect but it’s been well worth the $2! Thanks it’s a fun track, can’t believe I’m not bored of it after so many laps haha.
Subscribed! This looks like so much fun. I used to race RC cars on asphalt parking lots but I really like these jumps. Track looks like it was made just right.
Thanks for checking it out! It is a blast that’s for sure. Parking lot racing is fun but the jumps and dirt make it even better in my opinion. I like this track so much it’s been hard to make any changes to it, haha. It’s even better with 14th scale trucks.

Love your backyard course!! And super cool that your wife races with you. Awesome!
I am definitely lucky to have that spot and someone to shred with! It’s even more fun with a few more drivers.
Loved this! This is what rc is all about: HAVING FUN!😊
That’s right! 👍
nice track! As the saying goes: "rubbing is racing"
Thanks! Yeah we definitely agree with that, haha. Even more so in the backyard!
That looks like a lot of fun!! and what mad quality of the video.
It’s a blast! We have done so many motos on that track and it doesn’t seem to get old. Thanks!
This makes me want to build another track in my backyard. Forgot how much fun it was
Do it! Definitely worth it if you have a spot.
I can hardly wait till my son & wife can all 3 race on our course it looks like so much fun guys!
That will be a blast. Enjoy!
@@PSF_RC-PatSmageFilms Absolutely!
Looks like a lot of fun! Track looks challenging and 2x SCTs make for good action. The trucks react well to that kinda terrain.

Just love when a Baja Rey gets some proper racing shakedown!
It is definitely cool watching the suspension work and just different to drive compared to a fully independent suspension rig!
Nice track! Looks great on POV. Shure looks lots of fun. Perfect cars for the track. 👍👍🏆🏆

After this battle time to both have stock identical cars. Subbed guys what fun

great backyard track 😎
This looks so sweet. I’d like to see something like a DBpro on the track!
Thanks! I haven't driven one of those but it would probably be a lot of fun since it's similar to a 4wd sc.
