@@mcsbikelife3829 thanks for checking it out! It’s about time he gets more into rc! Looking forward to seeing what you guys have going on out there. I’ll keep practicing since I know he will improve quick…
could you remove the “people” in the Mojave cab or even dust guards to further reduce too heavy weight? It’d get more dusty but nothing a blast of air can’t fix 😁
This was a lot of fun, love all the mashups between the different Groms. I've got two Typhons and they're so much fun. Proline also makes excellent tires for the Granite and Typhon! Perfect track for these little cars too.
This was a great video. I had an RCAWD fan fail in my Typhon and nearly melted the drive motor wiring. Saw another video on YT where the same thing happened to a guy - so might want to watch out for that. I have the same fan mounted to the heatsink on my Granite, and it seems to be fine. I ended up trying/putting Surpass/Rocket fans in both of my Mojave's - but I have not put any packs through them yet.
@@jrmbtr thanks and thanks for the heads up! I have put 5-10 more runs on the fan with no issues so hopefully I got a good one, but I’ll keep and eye on it.
@@PSF_RC-PatSmageFilms It was great to see all the models against each other. I have not upgrade electronics in any of them, but was thinking I would in one of the Mojave's (again, they have not been run and only action on them has been fan upgrade and installing the upgraded Arrma diffs and CVDs). I don't mind the stock speed on the Granite, but my last run on the Typhon after I installed the Badlands seemed like it was moving slower than I remembered - or, I have just been watching too many videos of various brushless Groms and it threw off my memory of my own.
Yeeess! I bought the Typhon grom and it’s a super fun car! I’m excited for you to take a peek at the Losi Micro-B. I want to make a mini course and curious about your track construction ideas
@@John-shreds nice! The Typhon is my favorite on the track, although running a few Mojaves might change that for the fun factor being able to bump more. I definitely want to pick up a micro b pretty soon. Winter is coming and I’m still searching for the perfect rig to run in the house. Might just need a bigger living room haha.
@@PSF_RC-PatSmageFilms That’s awesome! I love the baby Mojave, it’s so cute. I want to get some plywood and cut them up into squares. Then build my track on the squares. This would allow changing the track up with tiles. And taking the track down when not in use! Also when I make features like a whale tail, I want to be able to attach it via magnets so it’s easy to remove Excited to try it.
Hi, my Mojave Grom also got a brushless motor, but with 2600KV and the original gear ratio remained. It shouldn't be any faster, but it needs less amps and I no longer need a fan. How much KV do you have installed?
@@BlackMetalRC85 I put in a 4500kv motor with the same gearing. I didn’t have room for a fan but it hasn’t ran hot enough to need one. It is a good amount faster than stock without being uncontrollable so I’m pretty happy with it so far.
Today is the first video of yours i have seen. I watched a few of them. Awesome videos

Nice video. I have a Mojave Grom and a Granite Grom and both are a lot of fun.
And great track 👍
That was some awesome racing 🔥

I love the shots! What do you use to film?
@@mostcallmerob thanks for checking it out! Most of it was with a Sony a6500 besides the head to head racing was with a gopro 10.
Good stuff man! Keep it up 👍

I really need pro line or jconcepts to make hole shot/sprinter tiers.
Those would probably be ideal for these vehicles on this track! Although with more moisture the stock ones do pretty well.
Cool video , I love upgrades 😅 especially one's that actually work

Don't put a aluminum drive shaft in your grom with a brushless motor it will bend from rpm friction I seen that happen before 😮😮
What brushless system is in your Mojave?
@@Fuppet it’s a 4500kv 2838 motor from lc racing and an old hobbywing ez run esc. Can’t remember the amps on it but maybe 45 or 60 max.
