As much as your theory is legit enough, Sharif Hussain wasn't the ruler of "Makkah", pls confirm that. Makkah is the Islamic State of Saudi Arabia which has forever been ruled by the long life royal family "Al-Saud". Sharif Hussain was instead the King of Baghdad, currently known as the capital state of Iraq. That's because back then Iraq were the second most powerful Arab empire after The ottoman empire currently known as Turkey.
I Know this because I'm a Muslim, half Nigerian and Saudi born. So I'm more than well informed. Well done 👍👍👍

Some people think it's just the Nigeria and Biafran war that the British caused.
British has caused or been involved in more than 100 different wars and conflicts in the world, including the two world wars, Pakistan Afghanistan conflict, the Irish Independence War, the Bosnian war, etc even the American Civil War, they have also fought with their son, the Americans before their independence.
This war thing nor be today e start

You can not call a 100 year old history of the Palestine/Israel territory ENTIRE.
You should go back further to Roman occupation or even further to understand the entire story.
What made jews leave their home lands to Europe?
Was the territory originally occupied by Arabs?
When and how did Arabs migrate to the territory if they were not originally there?
Go back further to get the entire story.

Having read books and watched documentaries about this conflict, I've been quite disappointed with the one-sided narratives often presented by major mainstream media. The falsehoods, bias, and hypocrisy they display, particularly the Israel/Palestine dispute, are disheartening, repugnant, and disgraceful. Lately, I've been focusing on independent journalism, which is much more honest and not influenced by any affiliations. Keep up the excellent work!

Respectfully, if you believe a random person doesn’t have an agenda or mistakes in their coverage, I don’t know what to tell you. It’s easy to beat up on main stream information. It’s kind of like here in the United States where if the Catholic Church or some other huge church is involved in the scandal, it’s covered and blamed on the people in the top. But if a small church has a problem it’s not blamed because that’s just considered to be a small church and you can’t really hold them as accountable. Same thing here, you have multiple small people making mistakes and information they portray all the time but they’re just not viewed as a big conglomerate that we can hold accountable by being upset that they made a mistake, or we perceived them to have made a mistake.

@okirichard4204 is exactly my point, because there is a land owner here, regardless of land being shared, a little context to this is the current West Bank is historical traced to the then judah and samaria after the death of King 🤴 Solomon you remember the kingdom was divided, however, this is not to say the Palestinian should leave the land because they are humans as well, leaving in peace and harmony is better than creating problems( Hamas) not to mention if they have it as an agenda to wipe Israeli out of existence ( haba) , you know they will not seat and watch, remember they are yet to recover what Hitler did to them. In all these peace ✌️ matter, just like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said if Hamas and other terrorist drops their weapon they will be peace in the word but if Israeli drops their weapon they would be no Israel any more. If we want to deal with the Jewish people, then we have to look critically at their history not just what other sides are saying.
Fast forward to the near future, the Palestinians rejected the formation of two states. Have your own let's have our own - is it a big deal? They can all live in peace if they decide.

Jude nice one, The key message here is that when you're in a disadvantaged position, the powerful tend to exploit and take what's rightfully yours. This scenario could be likened to what might have happened in Uganda if the Palestinian occupation wasn’t successful. The Zionist considered creating their homeland in Uganda.
Let's also contemplate a situation where apartheid persisted, and the Afrikaans encouraged more European migration into South Africa, potentially leading to a division of the country into two.
To address this issue, the United States has the potential to make a difference by recognizing the humanity of Palestinians. Instead of directing billions of dollars in aid to Israel annually, they could also invest in Palestine, thus helping to alleviate the crisis. Moreover, it's important for people around the world to continue advocating for the consideration of the Palestinian cause at the end of day we are all humans.

    • @iMatti00
      @iMatti00 10 месяцев назад

The United States sends a lot of money for food to Palestine. And you know Hamas receives an additional hundred million dollars a year from Iran, but they stink most of it into bombs and money for themselves to live in Qatar. They don’t put it into infrastructure, at least enough of it. You ever think maybe some of it’s their own fault? Just some at least?
And as I understand it Israel tried to make peace multiple times by giving the Palestinians basically everything they want it. But the Palestinians one it is real wiped off the face of the map. And guess what, they weren’t willing to wipe themselves off the map. So Israel finally decided to stop negotiating and turn into a hard-core right wing government. Even some of the current government and Israel calls themselves fascist. They got tired of messing around with the terrorism that was happening from Palestinians.
And I also understand that many Jewish people bought their land from Arabs that were willing to sell. Then after many Jews were massacred they started fighting back. This is a long complex conflict that goes tit for tat.
And are you also aware that most of all the countries around Israel have had their borders changed in the last 75 years or the country was created completely out of nothing?

@user-kp3zw2hp6c: "but there was no state of Palestine before"
And so what???? How does that change the rights and wrongs of this matter??? What matters is that there were innocent human beings who were kicked out off the land by invading European Jews. Arabs - including women and children - were lined up and shot just so that the Zionists could take over their homes and farms. And much as I hate any loss of innocent lives, the hypocrisy of the mainstream media in relation to Israel deaths is just to much for me to accept. Palestinians have been the overwhelming victims in this matter and most of the inhumanity has come from the Israelis. While I accept that Hamas should pay for its killings, the state of Israel should also pay dearly for decades of killings and injustice.
What Israel has been doing to the Palestinians is nothing short of Ethnic cleansing. Gazza is the Ghetto of our times. I'm neither Muslim nor Jewish ... I have no bias or personal stake in this matter, but I deeply detest the injustice that has sustained the state of Israel.

This history goes back some 3000+ years ago, to around 1100BCE when the kingdoms of Israel and Judah were there. However they met peoples on this land; the Canaanites, the Philistines, the Phoenicians etc were there before them.
And when they were evicted by the Romans (after the Romans conquered the lands, the Assyrians and Babylonians had conquered it before though), not all left. The remaining populations of Jews, Philistines and others were ruled over by the Romans (Byzantine) until the Muslims conquered the lands. Besides there were northern Arab tribes around this area too, a number of them being Christians. The rulership changed hands a few times due to the crusades and eventually rested with the Ottomans. During this period, people converted to Islam, while there was also the Christian and Jewish communities.
In the 1000 years from 900 to 1900 CE, it's been a mix of these communities. Post 1900 however, Zionism came and disrupted the balance, and returning European Jews (with the help of the colonial British empire) systematically took the land away from the resident Palestinian Arab Muslim, Arab Christian and Palestinian Jews( those who never left and were mostly opposed to Zionism). This led to the agitation of the natives.
Like every other colony, the natives wanted self-rule but the Europeans had other ideas, those of oppression which lasts to this day.

Hi Jude, I beleive you need to reserach further the inhabitants of that arear, I am refering to your video from @7:04. For you to get it correctly, you need to go back at least 1,000 years, to the time of the Romans. That land was actually inhibited mostly by the Jews before the Romans drove them out due to frequent uprisings. The other inhabitants only came in after the Romans threw out the Jews. The history will be incomplete if you just start off from 1914. A whole lot happened in the 1,000 years before. Great video though.

You mean 3000 years ago, 1100BCE when the kingdoms of Israel and Judah were there. However they also met peoples on this land; the Canaanites, the Philistines, the Phoenicians etc were there before them.
And when they were evicted by the Romans, not all left. During this period, people converted to Islam, while there was also the Christian community.

Very good insight but the world didn’t start during the Ottoman Empire regime. Where were the Jewish people before the Ottomans? How did they end up in European countries? Where were the Jews ? Before Ottoman Palestine? Why did Herzl choose west Asia or today Middle East ? I think it would be better if you had went far back from 1000bc with your story.

The history of The region is long and complex, with various groups and civilizations having claimed, controlled, and inhabited the city over thousands of years. The question of original ownership is therefore challenging to answer and is deeply intertwined with religious, historical, and political narratives. The contentious nature of the regions history is a central element of the conflict. Settling the matter will be very long!

If you consider that 700,000 more Jewish settlers in Palestinian West Bank have now been there for many years, it makes the prospect of peace very distant.
The greatest fear of the Israelis is that once Palestine becomes a fully recognized nation-state they'd have the right to a national army and military institution.
Why Israel and its immediate environs are heavily militarized even before that prospect of a Palestinian nation-state arrives.
The true solution, which would be very difficult for the other Arab states to implement because of other legitimate and illegitimate reasons is to absorb what's left of the Palestinian territories into neighbouring Egypt and Jordan.
Or better yet, if Palestine so becomes a nation-state, all of the buffer zones between that nation-state and Israel just like United Nations decided for Jerusalem way back in time should be policed by an international peacekeeping mission.
But all of this would require the Arab League of Nations to see the situation for what it truly is.

Kudos man! It is rather unfortunate that there may NEVER be peace in that region. But apart from the deceitful antics of the British in successively failing to keep their promises I also feel that the Arabs also complicated the issue: most of them were rather too quick to sell their lands to the immigrant jews at the beginning without reserve. And history has it that these sales started in the early 1900s under the same ottoman empire up to 30 years.

Telling this story from around WW1 is a disservice as it leaves out important history that adds important context to the arguments... Jude may be out of this depth on this topic.
Also... all the citizens of the Ottoman Empire were NOT equal... there were restrictions on worship in some places, and there were discriminatory taxes on some citizens... this story needs a follow-up and more nuance.

You need to provide details with full history. In my opinion, it is also the land of Jews which they were driven out for many centuries and had to spread across. Just blaming that Jews came and occupied changes the perspective completely for the viewers who are watching.
    Don't spread half cooked information.
As you say, i would also want to see how both can co-exist and live peacefully together. Waiting for it to happen.
