    I have the S22 and my favorite modes with it are night a day portrait. I took some pictures of a couple toads I found in my yard yesterday and the details in both portrait and night were incredible. Even going to 3x did not distort the details of the grass and the bumps on the toad. Samsung has really done a great job with their night and portrait photography.

    For my taste S22 definitely has more beautiful color representation as it's more natural in almost every daytime scenario. Besides that, S22 has better HDR and there's no "flattering" effect of human faces. Great comparison as always, keep on doing great job!

    For a change, S22 colors look more natural, portrait mode is just mind boggling(at this rate we can expect similar results from the iPhone 2 Gens later) and HDR is well optimised in the S22. Now video is really good on the S22 and not left far behind. Samsung killed it in this avatar of their flagship.

The 13 seems to be like most iphones (having popping colors with images). iphone 13 definitely has better video stabilization (I was dizzy looking at the S22 ) but it's hard to say that video quality is better (both look the same to me).

    Apple is trying to be Samsung, Samsung is trying to be apple. There was a time Apple use to take "real" pictures with true to life colour palette and they moved to brighter, more vibrant photos (sometime making a scene completely artificial) while Samsung use to have high saturation pictures and use to look very artificial and not they shoot much much better pictures.

  • @OXIR
    @OXIR 2 года назад +25

    Wow very surprised with iPhone 13 having that much saturated colours. I thought it'd be "natural" as always. Now the S22 looks more natural and I'm impressed by the results. It seems like Samsung has showed more love to it's less expensive vanilla and Plus S series finally, as they deserve. Really great pictures 👌 honestly I would buy it right away if I could afford it at the moment

    The comparison was excellent ! I think both images are good, for me I prefer the natural sky tones on the iPhone, the s22 makes the sky look greenish in some of the images. This dude is showing you photos where the Samsung reds are almost 90% wrong (Samsung has a tradition of setting this wrong) and tells you that the photos are better. Everybody bought that. Also says dynamic range is better on the Samsung but always shows photos with crushed skies and underexposed ground with tons of hdr but yeah.....better photos. • @FloriTravels
    @FloriTravels 2 дня назад

    In your video comparison it looks like the Galaxy S22 actually offers better video than the iPhone 13, but I've been using the Galaxy S22 Plus (Snapdragon) for a while and footage without stabilization isn't nearly as stable as the unstabilized video footage in Your video, at least not when filming handheld, no matter how steadily you walk.
    In fact, in my experience, the S22 is unusable without image stabilization as soon as you move, so you have to accept a crop of 30% (23 mm + 30% = 30 mm focal length with standard lens) versus 26mm with the iPhone 13.
    It would be great if you could clarify why your video footage looks so smooth.

      Poco f3? Uh, thats no where near the league of the S22 or the iPhone 13, it will absolutely get demolished in almost all situations, especially low light. the 48MP camera is a gimmick if not implemented properly, only high end phones like the S22/S21 (not even the S20 series) series or the huawei P/Mate series have managed to implement is properly, even the Mi 11 Ultra failed with its 108 MP

    I personally think they are both amazing, sometimes with me leaning towards the iPhone and other times to the S22 (except for the front camera, I’ve already hated Samsungs front cameras) but the biggest thing for me is how you can share the images. Not only is iMessage just more common in the US where I live, it just seems that even to this day, the apps are much more optimized for iPhones and social media sharing just always looks more impression from IOS in my opinion .

    • @OXIR
      @OXIR 2 года назад +4

      Ah.. iMessage. I wish US could find a solution for that single sided issue because Apple uses it as a weapon to lock people in their variety of devices. Luckily this isn't a problem where I live as hardly anyone uses iMessage or FaceTime but use WhatsApp, Telegram etc. (I too have an iPhone and I don't use iMessage). But I understand that US is a totally different story. Yes the app optimization is really something everyone should focus on. Android is used by so many different phones so it's hard for developers to optimize their apps for each phone but I think first, Google should improve their APIs for 3rd party apps greatly and second, Samsung should at least find a way to communicate with the developers of popular apps and optimize the apps at least for their flagships.

    S22 is a bit better than the iPhone 13, but when it comes to video recording the iPhone definitely wins, the digital sharpness looks kinda bad when you watch on a bigger screen, the contrast and digital sharpness is too much on the S22 when the iP13 brings a better natural recording like a pro camera. I hope Samsung keeps improving the video quality and stop just increasing the sharpness of the video, looking forward to upgrade my S20 FE to the S22 lineup.

    Today I did a test of the main camera of the Galaxy s22 against the Galaxy S7.
    The better screen of the S22 makes the pictures look better on the phone. If you zoom into the images on the computer, all, really all of the images on the Galaxy s7 are more detailed. Even if I set the S22 to 50 megapixels.
