New to wild camping just used this tent for the first time. I’m a complete novice but managed to pitch it up quite easily. No rain or wind to test its limits but its really quite a comfortable space with myself and very large dog plenty of room. As a two man tent I’d share it with my wife but wouldn’t feel too comfortable with a mate as it would be quite snug for two adults. You’re very lucky with the open access rules you have in Scotland as someone who lives in Kent finding somewhere to pitch is more difficult. We have a number of lovely multi day trails here down South but pitching up along the way is harder. My one and only wild camp so far I was given permission by the landowner but I think only cos I said I was walking The Greensand Way, still I’ve got the email to show anyone for future events if anyone should need to see it.
