I find Oghren's and Sten's answers to be the most compelling. Oghren's for the simple fact that he reveals just how much he hates himself, and Sten's, for the stoicism with which he carries his shame for killing innocents in a moment of madness.

Oghren really shows some hidden depths there. Using drink and fighting to cope with the fact that he's lost all he really cared for, good thing he finds some measure of solace in aiding the protagonist at least.
I love how everyone takes their heart being put to the test seriously and acts like they gotta be probed and then morrigan just nopes him and he's like "lol ok"
I find it humbling how when the Guardian turned to Oghren to ask about his regret, Oghren back-hands him with an outburst about his mistakes and self loathing. Guardian just gives him respect. -Then Morrigan's like bugger off- The Dalish path is a constant kick in the face, but I admit this was horrible, too.
To me, it indicates that inside, she isn’t how she likes to appear. She’s got a lot to hide, and not just in terms of secrets and past deeds, but also her true self (not as brutal and careless as she likes to demonstrate. I think she finds herself and acts more like her true self in Inquisition)

I think she gets more honest to herself when we see her in DA:Inquisition. Warden was clearly a good influence to her(and I like to think that she also was a good influence to him, making him trust her with the strange ritual that really ended up in a way it should).
@@chillax319 Actually, I think Morrigan was completely manipulated and shaped into a tool for Flemeth and the moment she left she did Flemeth's bidding and by trying to run away from Flemeth and getting stronger she did exactly what Flemeth wanted and programmed her for. Morrigan in Inquisition wants nothing more than power to get away from mother and by doing it becomes a slave to her. (Morrigan is never Morrigan but a mindless drone trying to get free and the more she tries the more she fastens her leash and becomes more of a tool for Flemeth.)

Oghren has some very interesting special dialogue about the lyrium in the mountain if you bring both him and Leliana, and in later games it turns out his observations were correct. He's a lot more perceptive than he seems.
Oghren really does point out that his family is dead because of Branka, his honor as a warrior is lost as well, his caste is lost and his entire house is destroyed. He could have stopped Branka from even going into the Deep Roads to go after the Anvil to begin with. Oghren is what little remains of his house, he came to the surface because he could barely call himself a dwarf anymore. He had nothing to lose now.

So many years. So many times I beaten the Origins and it's the first time I saw that side to Oghren character. Thanks for that vid AbidingGamer, it gave me another perspective to Oghren.

The disregard for the original story: Instead of expanding on the fate of the characters from Origins, they instead introduce a new, and quite frankly, dull cast, except Oghren, whom they just made shallow and dumb. Then they turn out a story that's so innane and utterly braindead, it was difficult to wrap ones head about it: Awakened darkspawn, who wants peace with the surface races. Lets see... how do darkspawn reproduce? Oh yes, they capture women and turn them into breeding machines. So I suppose that the price of that peace would be that Ferelden hands over a number of women every year as a tribute? The game doesn't even consider this, a plothole that gapes wider than the mouth of a darkspawn. And finally, the lazy design, where you've no control over when and where you want to talk to your companions, but instead are forced to react to trigger-points at random places. Awakening was such a disappointment after Origins, that I should have seen the writing on the wall and steer clear of DA2.
I seen it and still hate him. Doesnt change my feeling a single bit. Just because he hates himself because he's trash doesnt make him any less trash. Only a trash that realizes it and chooses to get drunk and harrass people - making me hate him even more. His jokes arent even funny to me. He's disgusting, vile and totally terrible to the core. After he lost everything he would still try to lose his second family because of how trash he is - was lucky my Warden helped him twice to fix the family and still Im not sure it will last.

I played the game on the 360. It was a lot less detailed than this video. Some characters, like Leliana, look a lot better with these graphics. Some, like Oghren...well, let's just say that the better graphics didn't treat him well.

Alessandra Holander Zevran loved a fellow assassin named Rinna who was framed for betrayal, Zevran killed her slowly as she denied betraying them, begging for her life and confessing she loved Zevran too. Eventually it was found out that Rinna didn't betray them at all and Zevran felt guilty for what he did.
There's appearances mod for companions in nexus mods that does this. All characters have different pre-sets: they either do minimal chances to their appearances in form of lore friendly or then total make-over. This seems to be mix of two with Leliana and Sten to be changed closer to their trailer models and Zevran getting total make-over.

I recorded With a bunch of different party setups, so sometimes you see the warden change, I think. So I just edited them together.
