@@fluffychan6000 Wynne actually knew her son. He was senior enchanter in Orlais and main character of Dragon age Asunder. Wynne died by sacrificing her life for the woman her son fall in love with.
I recently read that Wynne is supposed to be about 48 or so in the game, which was a shock because the way everyone speaks of her, the way she speaks of herself, it makes it sound like she's in her eighties or something. That said, I don't know what the average life expectancy is in DAO, maybe 48 is considered really old compared to our standards. xD
Her age in DAO is more redacted, imo. They didn't know if the DA universe would be allowed to continue after DAO, so a lot of the books and storylines at the time were tied up. After they were given the go-ahead and creators decided to expand on Wynne's storyline which in turn led to them aging her down to better fit the plotline.
@@FierceDeityMask I don't think they do, tbh, they have their own timeline and universe. There's a bunch of elderly characters (mostly on the side) who are well above 60, and plenty of characters who are 40/50 who are not presented as being elderly and still maintain capable battle-hardened positions. (Like, Cassandra is in her 40s at the beginning of DA alongside Iron Bull, and Solas is ranged to be looking around 50).
You know, seeing how Morrigan went from thinking kids are disgusting in Origins to caring a great deal about Kierans safety in Inquisition, Wynne totally called it. The Warden did turn out to be a good influence on her! ❤
@@dranzerjetli5126 Nope, Alistair wouldn't be such a great father figure for him. But as i know, even in the Inquisition there are small changes in the story, depending on what did you do in Origins, if you connect the two games. If Loghain lives, you can find him, for example.
When I first played the origins....I always thought Wynne was Alistair's mother....here you can see how remarkable their conversations was....but after completing the inquisition, I learned that first enchanter Fiona was Alistair's mother......aside from being both mages, they have the same story of having a son being taken by the chantry.....

When did Alistair had a cat? Maybe he befriended one at Redcliffe or in the Chantry. I like to image that, when beeing hardened and king, he will have a large, fluffy cat that sits in his lap while he is reading some important book about politics and enjoying a good antivan brandy. I got that idea by reading a fanfiction called "What Makes a King" by Mischieff. On the other hand I image that as a warden and he got he cure he will have one either.

I wonder who will be purring more, the cat or the viewer or you maybe.^^ As much as Alistair likes mabaries, he seems to be a cat person either or just an animal loving person in general. But a cat is very regal and combined with a seasoned Alistair who enjoyes the indepandence and grace of a cat, that makes me dreaming or a cat just as a loving companion in general, regardless of his character arc.

Maybe it is just a misconception that has something to do with his low self-esteem. Maybe those dogs were just bad dogs. Bad dogs, that must be the reason.^^
I think you're missing all the dialogue between these two in the Return to Ostagar DLC. Granted it's mostly exclusively between them, but I think it was still worth adding. Still love this though.

For Morrigan's face I used "Epic Ladies of Ferelden" (Morrigan morph Version 1) www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4663 I just changed her make up, but the hair and facial proportions are from that mod. Other mods for Morrigan I use are "Morrigan Sacred Ashes trailer robes" www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1902 and "Branch of the Cursed Tree" www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1579 Leliana, Wynne and Zevran morphs are their original designs with changed hairstyles. Assuming the time frame is medieval then yes. The life expectancy in those times was between 40-60.
