- The Behind The Back Dribble is such an underrated dribbling move. Many ways of doing the BTB. Using it a counter - wrap around the back like Curry and Jamal Crawford - snatching it back like Kyrie and Kemba (to break ankles) or splitting the PnR like D-Wade. Endless options.

What do you think about the longer (~10 minute) videos?
Should I stick to shorter or do a mix of both?
Both are great
I like longer ones but both are fine.
I like the longer ones, but all of these are great
i would prefer longer version, so i can study the game more, but i understand that sometime there will be not enough resources
Both
optimal illustration as always, im here before this channel blows up
Your channel is a hidden gem, great videos, thanks
This video was love at first sight. Sir.. you have earned yourself a subscriber don't change anything.
Your content is amazing! Any chance of a making a video of the kind of bumps you get in games when you drive or finish; and how to create space and shoot off a bump or get to the hoop and finish through contact?
Appreciate the kind word. I''ll definitely make a video on that. Might be some time until then though, gotta compile a lot of different clips first.
Hey Coach, can you do a video about baseline behind the back? It's commonly seen in streetball, but I'd love to see a breakdown from you. Tryna add it in my bag. Thanks!
Love that move - been doing it ever since I picked it up from the Professor back in the day.
Not sure if it's enough content for a whole video though, I'll mention it if I do a video on streetball moves or how to drive baseline.
@@CoachFrikki I was watching a Duncan Robinson clip and saw him doing it, instantly thought about you doing a breakdown on it.
Looking forward to it!!
@@yoolhomie2566 That's crazy - which game did he do it? Never seen anyone do it in an NBA game except T-Mac.
@@CoachFrikki ruclips.net/video/hJBRmTAEOKg/видео.html roughly around 28 seconds in the video

Was looking for some tips on basketball Intro w, When seein this imediactly subbscribed
I’m not gonna lie I always knew how to wrap a behind the back but never used it until I had to score on oother defenders because tweens and crosses didn’t work. This is a perfect move because if I do a btb I can pull up so smoothly off it.

Haha not planning on stopping any time soon 😊
Do this move and the spin move accomplish the same thing?
These moves have a lot in common. Both should be used as hard changes of directions against reaches and when defenders cut you off. The main difference is where on the court you are.
Use the spin move finish when close to the basket - pick the ball right up (no extra dribble after spin) + layup. Spin move is better here because of ball protection, you can pick the ball up and keep it away from multiple defenders before finishing.
Behind the back when dribbling far away from the basket. BTB dribble is almost always preferable because turning in circles takes time and you lose sight of the court for a second. Sometimes though you get into trouble and a reactive spin move is the best way to solve it. Not often though - and it's better to solve it with a BTB dribble 95% of the time.
@@CoachFrikki thank u for this explanation
can you teach us how to practice this move please? Thank you!

How do I do a BTL but with right leg in front and the ball going from my right hand to my left hand. Like BTL but from outside to inside.LolOl
Can we get a math class on J.C. because his double behind the back & how the different lanes opened up for him, bro please 😇♠️✌🏿. Jamal Crawford 🎷🎻🎺 on the court.
Hey man, love that you're trying to help. But keep it to 1 comment per video. RUclips algorithm isn't stupid. Could start flagging you as a scammer or think I am gaming the system. Best to play it safe.
Jamal Crawford was so insane. So damn fluid. Spent endless hours back in the day mastering his shake & bake. Might do a video on him, or at least try to include him more in the next videos.
Smoooth
are counter moves reaction or anticipation?
Yes. Yes they are.
@@CoachFrikkireaction or anticipation 🤣
@@joellai6235 Sometimes you decide to counter early, before a move. Bait him to fall for the 1st move, then counter.
Sometimes you decide to counter during a move.
Sometimes you decide to counter late, after a move.
It's a time spectrum, not an either or.
@@CoachFrikki ohh thanks coach
