I always watch your videos before hitting the gym to play ball. My bag is getting so big, that I be needing more baggage allowance ✈️ and its all thanks to you! Appreciate you 💯
i know you already made a video about how to move off ball but it would be nice you make a video of the principal system of playmaking, sorry for my english
Coach Frikki, you always made good videos.❤ Thank you for making them simple and made me better. I have trouble with some footwork of like gather steps and what to aim when layup. It will be nice if you made it! Keep it up❤❤❤❤
love your content man, im 14 adn im a tall gaurd i use all of your tips after watching a few of your cids on using the offarm and some other videos i dropped 35 points against a tuff deffender
Quick shoutout to a small channel called WoughtJay. I watch Coach Frikki for the actual moves, and then daily vids from WoughtJay really help with the mental side.
One important thing that I saw is that James Harden's ball lifting path is super tight to the body; from pocket to setpoint, it sticks to the body. Since reducing the chance that a defender steals the ball
it’s so unguardable lmao. so long as they respect your drive a little bit, there’s nothing they can do. i can pretty much get a good shot off everytime damn near. just up to me to stay on balance and hit the shot
Hello coach, I've watch a ton of your vids and trying to apply it in games. Thanks for these. How about the 2-foot finish, I need to master it because I have torn ACL without surgery. It will help my game a lot🙂
Coach please teach me to be confident at playing 5v5 full court, some how when i play 5v5 full court i do awkard things, but when 3v3 half court i play very confident and even saucy. please teach me
And that’s being lenient with the gather. Realistically the step as the final dribble hits the ground should be considered the gather step, making it 4 steps. It’s a travel, our minds are just warped by NBA double standards
@@dumb_as_rocks His right foot touches the ground before both hands pick the ball up. So his right foot step doesn't count (gather step). Then he steps back Left-Right, 2 steps, legal. You don't start counting when the dribble hits the ground. You start counting after you 1) pick the ball up with 2 hands, 2) 1 hand goes under the ball
@@CoachFrikki Nah man just because he delays his left hand touching the ball, doesn't mean he isn't control of the ball. that's going to get called a travel by any ref in any competition that isn't NBA. If you're going to claim that he's still dribbling before both hands touch the ball then you've got a carry violation as he's clearly in control of the ball and shifts both pivot feet If you're going to look at it like a ref would then you would see that he's in control of the ball with his right hand and takes 3/4 steps after the slowest most obvious gather step in the world that occurs simultaneously to the dribble. Although you would have already blown the whistle at the egregious carry at the start of the clip where his left hand is fully underneath the ball but continues to dribble. Stop encouraging these bad-faith interpretations of the rules, it's actively ruining the relative parity between defence and offence that makes the game so good. Why do you think everyone is talking about how much they're enjoying the FIBA world cup games at the moment? Because it's objectively a better game when the rules are respected.
coach i have a question when my friend goes for a floater he shoots with one hand and holds my hand where im trying to block him with the other is that legal?
İ think hard plant is so easy for manipulate our balance and our shooting motion i prefer to jab my foot like put in front and take back and make your stepback , its easier.
im not coach but can help. only works in NBA bc they allow a massive slack on calling travels. maybe u can make it work in another league but i doubt it, NBA wants to be more entertaining, just look at all the dribble moves and 60% of them are travels in NBA (they still the best players on earth tho)
Bro I need a video on how to be better at 1v1s because i have one friend that I know I’m better than but I can’t prove it because I don’t beat him in 1v1s and I just can’t compete with people I would normally be better than in normal games. I know it’s because of my bad finishing but please make a vid and help me out. Much love Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
None of these work unless using the 'we don't call traveling' rules of the NBA, they'll call you for traveling as a 9 year old if you do any of these 3 to 4 step moves in basketball that has actual officiating.
If you wanna guard a stepback then look out for the shoulders because if your good shoulder is pointed to the basket then it's easier to stepback and fire then if you bad shoulder is pointed towards the bucket because then you would need to do a big spin 🤓
These videos are worthless, explains no secret. It's like somebody saying just be more athletics, jump really high, and you can dunk. No shlt. Thanks for nothing

Hey coach, some more general 5v5 skills would be great. I know many players are pretty good at 1v1, but struggle at 5s.
The Nate Robison falling off Paul Pierce after that stepback is way too Iconic Hahaha Great and avanced tips as always, also a few elite "tricks".

like the toe tap in the video but more like you want to go but you prefer to stepback with using your jab and body to sell fake.
can someone explain how 4:57 isnt travel?
Frikki thinks a dribble only ends when two hands are on the ball for some reason
Cuz the dribbling is not ended. In my opinion, he can even step two more steps back.
Heyyyyy coachhh, i want a video about how get more fouls of My defender, Greetings from Venezuela
ngl coach Frikki teaches me more then my actual coach
more defense videos would be lit
How to know when to crossover?
When is it not a travel when you do the hop or take another step when u take a step back?
It's a travel when you take 3 steps. It's legal when you take 2 steps. Start counting when the ball gets picked up.

Is it "step back" or "stepback"?
ya Sag off your swag off
Hes said for low shot clock and game winners, but only one of those are gonna be followed. Everyother play gonna be a stepback when they learn it😂
