I like how you provide examples from each level of basketball to show these moves aren’t too advanced or too simple for the most mediocre players, or the best of the best (NBA). Underrated content for sure
Great point. These moves can be learned by anyone at any level. But they will take a lot of time to master.
most underrated tip that is hardly ever taught growing up, and it’s something that almost every elite scorer uses constantly. like if you never thought to look for it, you’d never notice but i promise you if you watch an nba game, the best players do it all the time. basketball is a contact sport and as long as you aren’t over the top with it, you’ll never get called for an offensive foul.
I had a game and my defender was handchecking and actively pushing me with us arm. I forgot how to use the off hand techniques but this def was a refresher def a sub now.
Handchecking will always be a part of the game. It's impossible to remove, or even catch with good officiating. Love to see it here
key point, you must be very strong and decisive with your footwoork. get to where you going with determination. you cannot chop your steps. take long, powerful strides while clearing that hand check.
Exactly you must maintain your running stride while hitting early and using your off arm.
Thanks for advice
Love how simple your video is yet still provide so many information. You also have multiple examples from different level of player. Thanks you for great content
I've been watching plenty channels, but yours quite direct easy to understand n spot on. Thanks coach.
Love this vid and content! This can make players better drivers and finishers.
Definitely - these off arm tricks are rarely used & taught. Much room for a lot of ballers to add to their bag.
Your videos have so much value bro. Salute for that. ✊
Nah this is some of the BEST content I’ve seen on RUclips, great stuff man
I’m a shorter basketball player, this move definitely helps me a lot because taller defenders try to take advantage.
Underrated content...decisive, violent footwork
New subscriber here! I really love how you show every move with a ton of examples. Keep it up!
U made a difficult trick looks easy to learn. I appreciate it!
So much knowledge in the videos it’s crazy I can’t just watch them once and move on I study it until I have it and then move on
always the best !
I love that you used the RUclips hoopers in your examples. Awesome content
Thanks for your tips sir keep it up
Thanks for this video I clearly understand how to use my free arms to gain advantage against a defender ❤
Yo haven't played ball in years went Saturday felt like hm. After some film study and a lil tuning up. I'm on this one and finishing thru contact. Gotta get used to the contact again. Those night time push ups
Damn actually learned a lot from this one, gonna be grilling my defenders they gonna be grabbing air next time!!!
Thank you coach!
daaamn the jordan move at the end kills it!! goat fo real
This footage comes 20 years late for me😁. Handchecks bothered me a lot. I was very fast but tiny. People used to slow me dowm with handchecks. A friend of mine used to do this, but I didn't learn it 😭😄😄
Ngl u explained dis perfectly Nd had gr8 examples. 👌🏾🔥🔥💯
The beat and moves is fire. I almost about to play basketball right now at midnight 😃
Great video. I need to get better at this

This is a cheat code!!! I need to implement this now
Everybody loves coach Frikki
That was beautiful 🥲
This got a like before the video started 👍🏽
Nice video
Can you please do a video on how to attack to the rim and how to use dribbles effectively
Aye coach I just realized I've been driving the wrong way and that's driving with the ball hand forward. So basically I've been avoiding countact with my arm thats closer to my defender. No wonder why I couldn't create contact or use my off arm. Especially for small guards if you don't make that contact you'll lose everytime. That small detail is a life changer
mans really showed Julian. Good vid tho
Gold
Hey coach can you teach us how to get more rebounds?
I really love how you put all diffrent level of Basketball in one vid its not all NBA clips, rather there are clips of your everday normal hooper doing these Tricky u Def deserve a sub
That's good
Next season new foul by the NBA
This is why I don't put my hands forward on defense
Thank u so much coach I’ve been tryna do this for ball screens
How to make more layups under pressure and where to aim them
That Trae Young one was good (for the 3).
Could you do 1v1 moves on bigger players?
New in the ball game, question: is that smooth push at the end really legal? In what extend is it ‘smooth’? I guess this depends on the refs, too
That is the first question that came to mind when I saw the title of the video.
Lol no. It’s not legal. Imo it should only be used when your playing a defender who is bending rules and being over physical
It 100 percent depends on the refs … if the refs like you they will never hit you with that call and it’s unfair bc it gives a huge unfair advantage to the offensive player
U can't guard me!!! How many times I gotta tell ya! haha 😂😆 lol
I've been scoring for 25 plus years. I never used my off arm much but now at 48, I'm about to.
This is super helpful! I wish I could practice these at the gym. I don’t know why they closed it when all other activities are open. I guess I’m have to practice on the wife when she least expects it lol
Nah this got me🤣🤣🤣🤣 i don’t even know why
Is hand checking considers reaching foul?
can u grab/ hold his wrist cuz i've been doin it and it never gets called
The slander at the end was WILD 💀
Is arm bar with off hand while driving legal?
I did this and got called for offensive foul for grabbing is elbow/forearm
do the swipe
@@SeedOilFitnessOfficial I do not intend to stop
Yo coach can you make a pull up jumper tutorial video?
Yeah gonna make some on how to shoot threes off the dribble. Not a fan of the midrange.
@@CoachFrikkiwhat about how to make a high school basketball team team For next year.
Nice moves great to sneak from defender but my opponent always argue that moves are illegal and dirty i dont understand hahaha
Just make em mad
Ignore them when they complain
It’s weird how hand checking has become more popular with a shift to iso ball
This is so so great, but I just feel weird touching people 🤣🤣🤣
All this time I haven't been using this 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️it's on now
The offarm can make a man fast like a horse.
Frikki, if you come back to this video I need to know... what contact is a foul with off arm contact? In basically every rulebook, NFHS, NCAA FIBA, NBA... all of them basically say the same thing: , no holding, no pushing, no hooking, fiba even says you can't protect the ball w off arm... basically ANYTHING that displaces the defender with your off arm is illegal. Obviously this isn't true, you see in every game players hand checking and off arm swiping on every play, so I'm just wondering where you think the line is drawn between like incidental contact and fouls with the off arm... maybe it just has to look natural?🙏
Every situation is different. Swipes and seals I would never personally call. I would call
1) Hooks after spins if you extend your arm and touch your opponents back.
2) Grabs, when you grab and hold your opponents arm above his elbow
3) Push offs where extend your arm and put some force into it.
But like I said every situation is different and has to be judged individually. The rulebook says one thing but what refs call is something else.
exactly.. don't know why he's advocating this
Bro everytime i use my off hand, my brother says its a foul. I be thinking like, "How? Im not finna just let u steal the ball or cause a turnover." Then when i use a pushoff or my shoulder in a non forceful way to create space, its always a foul. Like how if im not pushing with force?
love this content, would you care if I did a voice over of it and post it? I will tag you as well.

how to swipe hand wow
It is not consider offensive foul for grabing the hand?
yeah, but idk i think what this person means by grabbing is like just placing your hand on the opponents arm, not grabbing
Is it accepted in fiba rules?
Offarm is reffed similarly in the NBA and in FIBA. Gotta be smooth with it.
FIBA refs love to call an offarm "hook" when spinning baseline, that's the one you should be careful when using.
Can someone explain why is it not a foul?
Yeah fr
As our coach kept saying - it ain't foul 'till the ref call it :)
Joke aside - most of these moves are and could be called as offensive fouls, especially if you are aggressive and physical player.
Swiping, i understand but i feel like grabbing onto the defenders arm with your offhand should be an offensive foul lol
Both the defenders hand check and brushing the hand away is legal, right?
If you're smooth with it then it's rarely called.
very annoying but very effective
Pensaba ue eso era fault.
I think so the best is grab
If it works it's the most effective. But it's the toughest one to pull off, and the most likely to get called for a foul.
@@CoachFrikki ouww this is true bro İ didnt think like that
Is all of these wasn't offensive foul?, i've almost never use offarm before, it seems like too much contact and can lead to offensive foul
Be smooth with it and it won't get called. If the refs don't call it then it ain't a foul.
@@CoachFrikki okay coach thanks for the advice, appreciate your content so detailed and easy to understand
idc if i foul in stiff arming people a little
You forgot the golden elbow to the chest.
Somebody need to show cash this video he think this is an offensive foul
Hey kids, let us teach how to push people off instead of using skills to create space.
So what do you do when your defender grab you ? You Just be passive and let your defender bully you ? or you protect your space and be aggressive?
imagine a 1 armed hooper watching this video lol doesn't even have an off arm to prevent handchecking
I thought these are illegal ? Idk ig not
Grab is illegal but if defender tries to come in to your personal space, you have all rights to swipe hand off. And ref usually doesn’t call it cuz when you run, your arm will naturally swing. If you try to reach and grab defenders arm to swipe it, that is going to be offensive foul.
How to cheat on offense”
You can't do this in Philippines basketball they will call it "hawi" HAHAHAH I'm doing this move a lot of time and they're calling an offensive foul. 💀
No wonder defense is so hard. Offensive players can just stiff arm you all day
Defense is allowed to initiate some contact. Defense is allowed to initiate some contact too.
It's a contact sport.
In terms of rule if defense starts any contact they'd get called for a foul and sometimes defense gets called for a foul even when offense is the one that started it prob why people r so *bad* at defense cuz they ain't allowed to play it
Some of these are fouls tho lmao
Yeah, you gotta be smooth with it.
foul
Ok but i will not work upon something that should be called foul
Thanks coach
