The bit about receiving from angels reminded me of Rutherford claiming he received inspiration directly from angles and the spirit was no longer needed.
I have often felt like shaking the stupid right out of these poor people. IT is so frustrating trying to talk to somebody that thinks the sky is purple when it'c clearly blue; or even worse, daytime when it's night time. Otherwise smart people, have become indoctrinated into this cult by the leadership appealing to emotions.

I agree with your comments, it's so frustrating. I had a couple of Witnesses here at the farm the other day. The young Witness had never read that the Great Crowd was in Heaven. I showed him. He was visibly disoriented. He's promised to come back and said he would be looking at Rev 7 and 14 that night. All went well and I was relaxed. I took a break from splitting timber on the log splitter. That's probably why I was relaxed.

Nice to hear from you. Hey, I get it, splitting logs is a really good way to relax the brain and just decompress. I love wood colleciton and splitting when I go camping. Of course, I do it the old fashioned way with a splittling mall, but my chainsaw makes light work bucking the pieces up.

JWs are fixated on the earth being restored. Doesn't Jesus' words in John 18:36 contradict this “My kingdom is not of this world."
PSALM 37. And Jesus is in HEAVEN, and that's what Jesus told us to PRAY for, for GOD's will to happen also on EARTH. Mat 6.

I urge you to take careful note of the Bible passage in question.
First, the proclamation of the kingdom of God refers to Jesus Christ himself, who was already to be installed as King of the heavenly kingdom at that time. (see Luke 17:20-22, John 18:33-37). Consequently, every true worshiper of God of the New Covenant can consider himself transferred to this heavenly kingdom during his lifetime. (Colossians 1:13-14)
Second, the name of Jesus Christ was proclaimed, not the name Jehovah, not once. (Acts 8:12).
Third, baptism by the apostles was performed exclusively in the name of Jesus Christ and not additionally in the name of an earthly organization and thus its leadership. (Acts 8:16, Acts, 10:48).
As is well known, the Apostle Paul expressly admonished his confreres that such a baptismal procedure is inadmissible. (1 Corinthians 1:10-18).

Where did the Watchtower biblically find that the kingdom was going to be being assigned to earthly regions to set up learning centers overseen by the organization. When I was a kid it was all about petting lions and tigers. So here's what we Christians understand by this. Christ is coming , it will be his kingdom, we don't know a lot about the actual particulars and details but in the meantime, we trust it will be awesome, and we are a part of the welcoming committee, and humbly no part of the planning committee
And not one witness on earth can tell you what is "the good news of the kingdom."

Hey, thanks for providing those references, DC. I appreciate the work you put into gathering those. Let's take a closer look at each one.
*Good news of peace.* Ephesians 6:15 - “and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;” This verse is talking about the gospel (glad tidings of salvation through Christ) leading to peace (the tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God). This isn’t talking about a different kind of gospel at all. It’s about having peace with God through the work of Christ.
*Good news of the happy God.* 1 Timothy 1:11 - “according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.” Again, we’re talking about the gospel (glad tidings of salvation through Christ). In this instance, credit for the gospel is appropriately given to the blessed God. Is God happy? Sure - After all, he refers to Jesus as his son, in whom he is well pleased.
*Good news about Jesus Christ* Mark 1:1 - “The beginning of the good news about Jesus Christ, the Son of God:” Here again the word used for gospel means “glad tidings of salvation through Christ”. The word for Jesus here means “Jesus, the Son of God, the Saviour of mankind, God incarnate.” So again, it’s talking about the same thing - Glad tidings (good news) about salvation through Jesus.
*Good news - Saying* It took me a little while to find the passage you were quoting since you didn’t provide the reference and you’re using the NWT, which words things very differently. I assume you’re referring to 1 Peter 1:23-25 - “having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, because ‘All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the LORD endures forever.’ Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.” This passage really emphasizes “the word of the Lord” and its enduring, incorruptible nature. The word “gospel” here still means the same thing: Glad tidings (good news) about salvation through Jesus. When we apply the strong endorsement of the incorruptible and enduring word of God to the declaration of good tidings of salvation through Christ, we end up with a really strong proclamation of the one true gospel. Thanks for pointing that out.
*Good news of the kingdom* Acts 13:32 -- “So we are declaring to you the good news about the promise made to the forefathers. When you realize that the Kingdom is Jesus - let me know if you need help with that -- and not some coming system of government envisioned by the writers of the WT, it becomes clear that this, too, is talking about the same gospel as all the other passages you cited. The Gospel of Christ - the good news of Salvation through the shed blood of Jesus for the remission of sins, which brings peace with God and everlasting life.
