If you can leave before being baptized that's a BIG help, otherwise it's likely you will be shunned for the rest of your life.

Isa 9:6 the word Prince in the Prince of Peace means PATRON ANGEL also Leader. WHO IS the ONE LEADER that we have? Jesus. Now, that same exact Hebrew word was used for Daniel 12:1 which is used for Michael the Archangel. So are you saying there are MANY LEADERS now?

DH, I'm glad you took the position you did concerning James White and Jeff Durbin. I, too, am NOT a Calvinist, and am put.off at James White's attitude towards non-Calvinists like Leighton Flowers and William Lane Craig. But putting their non-essential philosophy aside, they are great examples of how to witness to Mormons and JWs.
Jeff Durbin is nowhere as near the ass that James White can be towards non-Calvinists, and that is why I continue to tune in when I see Jeff witnessing to people, especially JWs as I have family in the cult. His demeanor is exemplary toward the lost, and we should all be more like him, regardless of our own philosophical views on Soteriology.

michael created time and space and place the heavens and the earth
where did this angel dwell prior to the ceation of his proper dwelling place?
if michael came from timelessness ( eternity ) how did he exist as a created being?
did michael dwell within the being of God and if so how can anything created exist within the uncreated being of God.

8 DIFFERENT WAYS ROMANS 10 PROVES JESUS IS JEHOVAH:
    1
Below is how the JW’s New World Translation (NWT) renders Romans 10 verses 9 to 16. I’m quoting directly from the NWT.
Please notice how the same Greek word “KYRIOS” is translated in 4 of the verses:
    verses 9, 12,13 and 16.
9 For if you publicly declare with your mouth that JESUS is *LORD* [ **KYRIOS** ], and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one exercises faith for righteousness, but with the mouth one makes public declaration for salvation.
11 For the scripture says: “No one who rests his faith on him will be disappointed.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. There is the same *LORD* [ **KYRIOS** ] over all, who is rich toward all those calling on him.
13 For “everyone who calls on the name of *JEHOVAH* [ **KYRIOS** ] will be saved.”
14 However, how will they call on him if they have not put faith in him? How, in turn, will they put faith in him about whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach?
15 How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent out? Just as it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!”
16 Nevertheless, they did not all obey the good news. For Isaiah says: “ *JEHOVAH* [ **KYRIOS** ], who has put faith in the thing heard from us?”
Notice how “KYRIOS” is translated twice as “JEHOVAH”, in verses 13 and 16.
**BUT** it is translated twice as “LORD” in verses 9 and 12.
If “KYRIOS” should be translated as “Jehovah,” then verse 9 says: “Jesus is Jehovah.”
So, looking at the Greek, verse 9 states:
we have to declare with our mouths that “Jesus is Jehovah” in order to be saved.
    2
For this second point, you need to know about the Septuagint.
The Septuagint was written roughly 200 years before Jesus was born.
It’s a translation of the Hebrew Scriptures (the Old Testament) into Greek. And throughout the Septuagint the Jewish scholars would NEVER write the Name of God - they ALWAYS replaced the name of ‘Jehovah’ with the Greek word ‘KYRIOS.’
Wherever the Hebrew Scriptures have the name ‘Jehovah,’ in the Septuagint they ALWAYS changed that to ‘KYRIOS.’
And the Septuagint was increasingly used, so that by the time of Jesus it was very commonly and widely used and relied upon, so much so that very often throughout the New Testament the apostles and Jesus Himself quote from the Septuagint.
It’s obvious that’s what they’re quoting from because the Septuagint sometimes translates things in a certain way, and that’s the exact way that Jesus and the apostles quote them.
The authors Archer and Chirichigno list 340 places where the New Testament quotes the Septuagint compared with only 33 places where it quotes from the Masoretic Text rather than the Septuagint (G. Archer and G. C. Chirichigno, Old Testament Quotations in the New Testament: A Complete Survey, 25-32).
    Consider this:
The New Testament has 27 books.
It quotes the Septuagint 340 times.
And we believe that God and His Holy Spirit is the author of the New Testament - so God decided to do that.
Also the early church used and relied upon the Septuagint so much that Orthodox Jews who had been widely using it for 200 years stopped using it in order to distance themselves from Christians and Christianity. This is how closely the early church was identified with the Septuagint.
The practice of using the word ‘KYRIOS’ instead of using God’s Name had long since become standard practice by the time of Jesus and the apostles.
That’s why in the New Testament in the original Greek it never says God’s Name, ‘Jehovah’ - it always says KYRIOS instead, just as in the Septuagint.
Now we can start to explain point 2.
Please read this shorter portion of Romans 10 again:
9 For if you publicly declare with your mouth that JESUS is [ **KYRIOS** ], and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one exercises faith for righteousness, but with the mouth one makes public declaration for salvation.
11 For the scripture says: “No one who rests his faith on him will be disappointed.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. There is the same [ **KYRIOS** ] over all, who is rich toward all those calling on him.
13 For “everyone who calls on the name of
[ **KYRIOS** ] will be saved.”
In verse 13, the Apostle Paul is quoting directly from the Septuagint (Old Testament), from the book of Joel:
“everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah [ **KYRIOS** ] will be saved;”
    ‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:32‬ ‭
Paul is quoting from the Greek Septuagint, which doesn’t say ‘Jehovah,’ but always replaces ‘Jehovah’ with ‘KYRIOS.’
But in the original Hebrew it undeniably says ‘Jehovah,’ and is talking about Jehovah.
    So:
In Romans 10:9 Paul says: if you declare with your mouth that “Jesus is KYRIOS” you will be saved -- he then immediately goes on to quote Joel 2:32 which says:
“everyone who calls on the name of **KYRIOS** [Jehovah] will be saved;”
    ‭‭Joel‬ ‭2:32‬ ‭
    Undeniable conclusion:
PAUL IS DELIBERATELY AND SPECIFICALLY QUOTING A PASSAGE FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT ABOUT JEHOVAH AND DELIBERATELY AND PURPOSEFULLY APPLYING IT TO JESUS.
    ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
In the original Greek of Paul’s Romans 10 there is not the English ‘Lord’ or ‘Jehovah’ - Paul only consistently uses the same Greek word for both Jesus and Jehovah: ‘KYRIOS.’
Of course, ‘KYRIOS’ can sometimes mean the equivalent of ‘sir/lord’ (as is sometimes used for humans). But Paul makes it clear which type of ‘KYRIOS’ he means:
In verse 9 Paul uses the Greek word ‘KYRIOS’ for Jesus - and then he immediately makes it explicitly clear what type of KYRIOS he means by deliberately quoting Joel, where ‘KYRIOS’ undeniably means ‘JEHOVAH.’
    3
Check the Greek of verse 9 - it doesn’t say:
    Jesus is KYRIOS.
    No, it says:
    KYRIOS is Jesus.
That emphasis on KYRIOS coming first is yet another confirmation that Paul is not writing about any mere human ‘sir/lord’ but about **THE** KYRIOS: Jehovah.
    4
In verse 9, in context ‘KYRIOS’ can’t mean merely ‘sir’ - it would NOT make sense:
if you declare with your mouth that Jesus is sir you will be saved.
    ???
That doesn’t work. Many humans are ‘sir’ and declaring that or believing that doesn’t save you.
    5
    Pay attention to verse 12.
Paul gives further clarification in verse 12:
9 For if you publicly declare with your mouth that JESUS is [ **KYRIOS** ], and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.

12 There is *THE* *SAME* [ **KYRIOS** ] over all, who is rich toward all those calling on him.
13 For “everyone who calls on the name of JEHOVAH [ **KYRIOS** ] will be saved.”
    Verse 12 says:
IT IS *THE* *SAME* *KYRIOS* OVER ALL.
Other scriptures also say there is only **ONE** KYRIOS:
“for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and **ONE** *KYRIOS* , Jesus Christ,”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬ ‭
    And:
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; **ONE** *KYRIOS* , one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭
So when Romans 10:9 says we must declare with our mouth that “Jesus is KYRIOS” in order to be *SAVED* it is not talking about a mere human ‘sir’ - it is talking about *THE* *SAME* *KYRIOS* OVER ALL - the **ONE** *KYRIOS* . The only KYRIOS whose name you can call on to be saved.

    • @SpielbergMichael
      @SpielbergMichael 2 месяца назад +1

      Reasons 6, 7 and 8
      6
Look again at Romans 10:9 and 13
9 For if you publicly declare with your mouth that JESUS is [ **KYRIOS** ], and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.

13 For “everyone who CALLS ON THE NAME of [ **KYRIOS** ] (Jehovah) will be saved.”
We can know it’s talking about calling on the name of JESUS because of what this other verse says about all Christians:
“To the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place *CALL* *ON* *THE* *NAME* *OF* *OUR* **KYRIOS** *JESUS* *CHRIST* , their Lord and ours:”
      ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬
That proves all the church called upon the name of JESUS - and that in conjunction with Romans 10, means Jesus is therefore Jehovah.
      Recap:
“calls on the name of [ **KYRIOS** ] (JEHOVAH)”
      Romans 10:13
“call on the name of *OUR* **KYRIOS** *JESUS* *CHRIST* “
      ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬
      7
Let’s look again at what the JW’s NWT says, and this time let’s include verse 17 for the first time, quoting directly:
14 However, how will they **CALL** **ON** **HIM** if they have not put faith in him? How, in turn, will they put faith **IN** **HIM** **ABOUT** **WHOM** they have not HEARD? How, in turn, will they HEAR without someone to preach?
15 How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent out? Just as it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!”
16 Nevertheless, they did not all obey the good news. For Isaiah says: “Jehovah, who has put faith in the thing heard from us?”
17 So faith follows the thing HEARD. In turn, what is heard is through the word **ABOUT** **CHRIST**
Let me draw your attention to 2 verses in particular:
14 However, how will they **CALL** **ON** **HIM** if they have not put faith in him? How, in turn, will they put faith **IN** **HIM** **ABOUT** **WHOM** they have not HEARD? How, in turn, will they HEAR without someone to preach?

17 So faith follows the thing HEARD. In turn, what is heard is through the word **ABOUT** **CHRIST**
Now let me ask you a question:
Who is the ‘him’ in verse 14 which says “him ABOUT whom” ?
The answer is: CHRIST - just as verse 17 makes very obvious when it says “ABOUT Christ.”
So we know the “him” in verse 14 is Jesus Christ.
Ok - so, knowing that the “him” in verse 14 is Jesus, now let’s read verses 13 and 14 together:
13 For “everyone who *CALLS* on the name of
[ KYRIOS ] JEHOVAH will be saved.”
14 However, how will they *CALL* on him [ JESUS] if they have not put faith in him [ JESUS ] ? How, in turn, will they put faith in him [ JESUS ] about whom they have not heard?
      THAT MEANS JEHOVAH IS JESUS.
And just as verse 9 says: we need to call on the name of Jesus to be saved.
      8
      Please read this again:
9 For if you publicly declare with your mouth that JESUS is *LORD* [ **KYRIOS** ], and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one exercises faith for righteousness, but with the mouth one makes public declaration for salvation.
11 For the scripture says: “No one who rests his faith on him will be disappointed.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. There is the same *LORD* [ **KYRIOS** ] over all, who is rich toward all those calling on him.
Who is the “KYRIOS / Lord” in verse 12 ?
The Greek word ‘KYRIOS’ occurs 4 times in Romans 10:9-16. The first 2 times, the NWT translates it as ‘Lord’ (in verses 9 and 12).
The last 2 times, the NWT translates it as ‘Jehovah’ (in verses 13 and 16).
The ‘KYRIOS’ translated as ‘Lord’ in verse 9 is unquestionably Jesus.
That leads me to logically think that the ‘KYRIOS’ translated the same way as ‘Lord’ in verse 12 is therefore also Jesus.
Ok, so the ‘Lord / KYRIOS’ in verse 12 is JESUS.
Now that we know the KYRIOS in verse 12 is Jesus - let’s read verse 12 and 13 together:
12 There is the same *LORD* [ **KYRIOS** ] (JESUS) over all, who is rich toward all those *CALLING* *ON* *HIM* .
13 For “everyone who *CALLS* *ON* the name of *JEHOVAH* [ **KYRIOS** ] will be saved.”
Clearly, the one CALLED ON in verse 12 is the same one CALLED ON in verse 13.
      That means Jesus is Jehovah.
By translating the 4 occurrences of the same word ‘KYRIOS’ in Romans 10:9-16 differently (the first 2 as ‘Lord’ because they are too obviously Jesus, and the last 2 as ‘Jehovah’ because they are too obviously Jehovah) the NWT obscures the fact that it’s the same Greek word that occurs 4 times and attempts to create the impression that the passage is talking about 2 different beings. But if you pay attention and read it closely the text doesn’t allow for that reading. The passage is only talking about 1 being and 1 KYRIOS. It’s the same KYRIOS throughout the whole passage.
