This video is incredibly informative, professional and useful. Seriously, it has only 1000 views yet it's the best one among other 100.000 views videos. Thanks a lot, very helpful!
Thank you so much for the encouraging comments, and for the support. Unfortunately sometimes this is reality on RUclips, I also occasionally find some quality videos from some brilliant content creators that do not get the traction they deserve...!
This was superb info, most of the things I needed to know. I dont have all of the tools and I dont think the seller will have that patience for so many tests, but I will definitely do many of them
the cheap new generation laptops hardly ever make sense to buy, they make them too complicated to work on and the specs are always rubbish, i've seen some HP laptops that have these emmc flash storage devices in them with no room to upgrade to a normal standard 2.5 inch ssd, and the most capacity they offer is 32gb and they are way too slow to do any sort of normal computing, that is just robbery, how is windows going to function properly on a standard with such low capacity when updates are always rolling in every month? and the customer won't be able to store anything else on them, that kind of storage would probably suit a smartphone better than a computer.
This is a very good guide, Thanks for sharing this
Thank you, very informative
Great video. From my own personal view I have always been a fan of the Lenovo Thinkpad. I have quite a collection spanning IBM's ownership right through to Lenovo. Always do my own maintenance as they are very configurable and built to take punishment.😊👍
Thanks for the info! That's my next laptop to look for, debating between the classic T440p or later like the T480, I know the slight differences, any suggestion?
@@HealMyTech1 I have a T440p and you can upgrade the processor, it's not soldered on like T440s. Obviously the T480 is newer but I like to get the most bang for my buck so to speak. So I would go for the T440p and max it out and use it until it was no longer viable as a daily driver😊👍
@@HealMyTech1 assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. T480 is definitely the way to go. You can upgrade it too 32GB and it has the FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display and at 3.6Lbs (1.63293 Kilograms) it weighs only 0.62Lbs (0.28122727 Kilograms) more than my x270 which is an ultraportable so its still pretty light.
Loved this ❤❤
Well explained vlog. Very nice.
Great, it so nice lectures thanks
Well done brother
Good content! Keep up! 👌👌👍
Thank you! Will do!
Thank you for this infomative video, could you make video to explain about computers processer generation, i still have trouble to understand for example; whether 10th gen i5 processor are better that 5th gen i7 processor.
salam, im from indonesia and i assembled my pc a week ago. when booted the first time, everything went smoothly until it entered the bios. all hardware read in the bios. every time I want to install Windows, my PC always restarts during Windows setup. Is the power supply problematic? because the other components are new except the power supply. thanks. i hope you read my comment :)
Thank you
Subhan'Allah danke merci
hp elitebook, dell precision and thinkPad P-Serie
And guys, always check if the bios has a password
I just bought a year old G3 3579 , did I made a right choice?
Yup for me pag gaming ang gamit mo ok spec noon...
Didn't get the Linux part much. If I'm going to stay with Windows, stress tests and benchmarks are okay, ports and sound are working and etc. Why would I need Linux then? 🤔 I'd better add an advice about sound, mic and webcam checkup
4:44 Why ignore buy it now option ?
plz notice me. my pc got blue screen( dpc watchdog violation) everytime i got blue screen i install windows again and again. plzz help me
It's going to be hard to determine the problem just from online chat, you'd probably want to take your pc to a pc service center or repairmen
This laptop is better than my desktop
😂😂😂
But my laptop is better than this I have touch and it has removable keyboard

1. U sound like u doing a lecture, which i think should be changed to conversation type
2. Do reviews of things that are hype in the market.. make investments

Step 1: Don't. Used laptops are for schmucks. Even if you are poor, buy a low end one or save up. It is so worth it.
Nope. I managed to get my hands on a X230 with i5-3320m for a third of a price of E570 with i3-6006U. Comparison? X230 is indestrustible beast, survived hell of a physical punishment. In terms of computing power, 3rd gen mobile 35W cpu is on par with 6th gen 15W low power CPU. You can't beat physics. + docking station with 2 FHD external monitors.
You just have to know what you're doing.
Thinkpads are indistructable
Buuhaaahaaaa...even if you are "rich" new laptops are almost like new cars: after awhile the performance goes right in the $h1tter. And depreciate.
Honesty, over the years (even older ones) I've NEVER gotten burned sticking with Thinkpads. I my experience, they're like Abrams tanks. Granted, I had to whitelist the bios, but I fully tricked out a T400 with a ssd, 8gb of ram & a wifi6e card...and win11!!! 👾👾👾
Now, I rock a T460p & 480. Blazing quick!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
@@gummislayer1969some like lenovo's legions are still worth to buy if your work requires a competent GPU and you need to be moving (architect or artist)
But otherwise, yea, a 4-10 years old (or even older if you're ok with Linux or is intended to do wo) is a better bang for buck or you could gather a PC instead if you don't need it to be mobile.
@@syaondri agreed. I got my eyes on the P line now. Pretty much "retired" my adoration for T400 -they're WAAAAY too slow & overheat (in WIn 11 environments. Win 10 was sluggish...kinda).
I totally tricked out a P50 for my mother-in-law (two Samsung M.2 drives, newer-ish battery, wifi6e card, Win 11). She loves it. It was a little beat up - top cover. 😳😳😳
It's amazing what you can do with a magic eraser & some Nivea!!! 🤩🤩🤩
