Oh I think that's entirely dependant on which style he chooses to play but he's certainly capable of about anything you'd ever want out of a guitar. Like Clapton's high praise of John - "He's extremely gifted..his facility is phenomenal".

He never impressed me, really no guitar player ever impressed me cause you can look up "great guitar solos by 6 year olds" and a bunch come up so the instrument is not that hard. Try looking up great trombone solos or French horn solos by 5 year old and not much come up.
