    These family videos are a nice break from the cars. Also, as an American it is great to see the inside of European stores and houses. All the best.

    Björn is the Norwegian king, love to watch all the roadtrips to Sweden, not just the cartalk but the hilarious man him self and how he shows surroundings where he goes. A funny smart travelguideadventure where information in depth about the cars unlike anywhere else.
    Wife and baby is a welcome bonus, more sweet to see then hes grinny face all the time😂.

    I really like the Ariya but they are a very rare sight on U.K. roads. Finally got to sit in one at the Fully Charged North show today and the fit and finish is to a very high standard - I will be adding to my test drive list along with the Polestar 2 or the rumoured baby Polestar based on the Smart#1 and IPace to replace my Mini. It's surprisingly good.
      The interior is genuinely nice, a big step up from VW, and very close to the iX.
      Good job Nissan. It's my favourite so far and my likely next buy.

    You have high consumption due to 20" wheels. I have 19" wheels on my e-force Platinum+ (American version). And I got ~22.2 kWh/100km. And it is on a trip that includes claiming a 2km mountain. You should expect to get a minimum 400KM from Ariya with no problem.

    • @MaxDrougge
      @MaxDrougge Год назад

      I would say that more depends on the average speed and outside temperature. In warmer weather at 130 km/h i managed to get 22 kwh/100 km with 20" wheels with FWD model.

    • @MaxDrougge
      @MaxDrougge Год назад

      @@Ihsnetad Of course. That's why I picked it. But you said the reason it is thirsty was due to the 20" wheels. It's not that much I think.

    • @Cosmycal
      @Cosmycal Год назад

      The problem is triple, cold temperature, 20" wheels instead of 19" and AWD instead of FWD. I'm getting crazy range on my 19" FWD 87kWh on hot temperatures on my Ariya.

    I can’t imagine running the interior temperature of my car at 26 Degrees C. I usually set it at 21.5 or 22

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  Год назад +6

      The HVAC is tuned to be very cold. If you run it at 21-22°C like most other cars, it will be very cold in the cabin. It's tuned more like the Chinese cars. Nissan is Asian after all.

    • @NameNaameNameeNaamee
      @NameNaameNameeNaamee Год назад +2

      It's just a matter of offset. In Asia, having a powerful AC is a token of luxury. The better your business goes, the colder your shop (or car in that case) will be. Also, Asian people will go to work all suited up, even if it's super hot. For me, it is too cold as well, but you can just set it higher and all is well.

    • @Blasterxp
      @Blasterxp Год назад +1

      We have a Nissan Micra, en climate control is really strange. I agree, temp offset is BIG.

    • @Ihsnetad
      @Ihsnetad Год назад

      Usually, in cars, when you set the temperature on the AC, it will blast the cold air out of the vents until the salon is cool down to set the temperature. But in Ariya, it will blast air of the set temperature. You need to select the colder or hotter temperature, depending on what you need.
      It is similar to how some of the split system AC work. With is not a surprise considering that Ariya uses a heat pump (basically split system AC).
      PS But I do consider it to be a "software" bug. Hopefully, they will fix it someday.

    Bjorn - your video thumbnail says "simply amazing". What's "simply amazing"? The speed with which the Ariya's range disappears? Thoughtful analysis based upon the Ariya's specs, and Nissan's rapidly declining market sales across all auto segments, indicates Nissan could easily be the first legacy OEM to go into bankruptcy proceedings.

    • @Cosmycal

      I'm doing on my Ariya consistently more than 500Km of range on each charge easily, one time I nearly touched 600Km even.
