I'm replacing a Denon AVR-S 970H with a Yamaha RX-A2A Aventage 7.2 channel AV receiver. I do not like Denon. I have always used Yamaha since the mid 70s. So I'm going back to Yamaha!

I have the a2a receiver and it seems to be outputting only 1080p from the hdmi port to my television. I have a samsung qled 85 and when I pull up signal info from thus receiver playing 4k content, it says 2190 x 1080. Not 4k and the picture looks horrible. Am I doing something wrong here?

I bought this Yamaha A2A receiver, compared to everything else in its class, this is by far the best out there. 2 thumbs👍👍up for this unit.
Just under $1,200.00 and worth the investment.
