How to start unsing animation in Resolve: Use somebody else's animation.
Isn't the end result still animation? I understand you're looking for advanced tutorials and techniques, but don't neglect the fact that A LOT of people want an easy solution and can't be bothered to spend hundreds of hours to master this themselves
@@VideoPlastyOfficial No, and I'll comment every time you post this bollock response, what you are doing is editing other peoples animation, not animating.
@@fullnerd7975 Give up on life. You're not good at it.
@@bmoneybby that was corny af
@@bmoneybbydid you just tell this guy to kill himself?
so your tutorial on animation is basically not to animate? oh please
DaVinci Resolve is not really ideal to produce these kind of animations, so yes
More lame Davinci tutorial making it harder to find the good ones.
@@VideoPlastyOfficial So why title it "Davinci Resolve Animation"? It's just click baitey nonsense for those of us trying to learn animation in Fusion Studio.
@@fullnerd7975 How else would you title it? Isn't it the same end result? Not everyone is like you looking for advanced techniques, most people want an easy solution.
Maybe look for Fusion Animation / Motion Graphics / Character Rigging, although I don't recommend DaVinci for this kind of things.
@@VideoPlastyOfficial I did, and this is the crap the algorithm throws at me. But if you must know, this is editing animations not Animating. Maybe it's a language thing, but if you're doing a video on animation, do a video on motion graphics and paths, they are beginner. But instead, you've got already animated clips, therefore you aren't animating, you're editing. So maybe name it more appropriately.

Its not an bad idea to work like this. In germany we say: "Why reinvent the wheel?"
But you should adjust the headline of your video. Maybe: "Animation-Hack" or "Bypassing Animation in Resolve" ...
But THX for this idea, dude!
I agree. A lot of people feel "tricked" though, which is somewhat understandable, but they only think about their case of looking for advanced ways to create this directly in DaVinci, completely neglecting the wide range of people who want the quick "hack"/solution.
You're not animating crap! you are just dropping in pre-animated clips and adding some basic effect to them.
I never claimed to show how to animate. Only how to make animations for beginners. Not surprisingly, so many people want to jump over those complex steps and get straight to the point!
@@VideoPlastyOfficial The title of the video is Davinci Resolve Animation. This is editing, and poorly cutting together.
I came here because I thought this video is going to SHOW me how to create animation FROM Davinci Resolve. I guess not.
Takes hundreds of hours to master the skills and I don't recommend you use DaVinci for that. Try After Effects and a lot of coffee, it's quite complex. Look up Vector Graphics, Motion Graphics and Character Rigging tutorials. Good luck!
@@VideoPlastyOfficial The title of the video is Davinci Resolve Animation. This is editing, and poorly cutting together.
Hi, can you do an animation tuturial without using stock animation? But definitely not in Resolve
I was JUST thinking the same thing. HOW DO YOU ANIMATE IN RESOLVE
It would be ridiculously complex and likely no a good idea to do in Resolve. If you want to make your own animations, try After Effects, but it will take hundreds of hours of work to get there and you need to master graphic design, motion graphics and character rigging.
@@VideoPlastyOfficial Your video is aimed at beginners, and explains how to make an explainer animation. It doesn't suggest anywhere that this tutorial is on animation itself. I don't fault you for making this video, it's a clean video and serves its purpose well.
I was just frustrated that I can't seem to find a good tutorial on making modern-looking animations - not even character rigging, but basic stuff like moving an object from point A to point B with a smooth, non-linear motion, like you see in so many motion graphics elements.
I love Davinci Resolve. This was a good tutorial
I will soon on my channel)
Fantastic video. I'm not sure I will do any animation for videos but I think I'll give it a try just for fun. This was very easy to follow and straight forward.
That's awesome! Feel free to try some of our free animations on VideoPlasty: videoplasty.com/stock-animation/search?free=true

I love Davinci Resolve. This was a good tutorial
Great, I love it as well and it's my go to free software for editing videos that I recommend to everyone
@@VideoPlastyOfficial I also love davinci resolve 16

😊
Wow ! 😲
Thanks for the clear n concise tutorial. Exactly what I was looking for. Most videos in the search results were targeted at 'serious animators' and were way too manual, tedious, and inefficient just to create simple animations for the average RUclipsr.
Glad it was helpful!
thank you so much
Welcome 😊
Nice video, it helped me so much
Those sort of comments make it all worth it! :)
Hi
At particular time intervals , you have given a sliding text effect to through out this RUclips video .
I would like to ask you that the text effect layering can be done using resolve 16 too ?
Did you edited this RUclips video in davinci resolve 16 too or in any other editing software tool?
Very good vector act ad will done🤟
Sounds great! 👌🏼
U can simply use Inkscape and davinci..
Of course, if you have hundreds of hours to learn vector illustrations, motion graphics, character rigging and a lot of other concepts, sure go for it! I have nothing against that, it just takes a lot of time.
Many people would rather just pay a bit of money and skip all that and just get the end result.
Thats not really doing it from scratch is it!
Thank you so much I love that edit
Thank you! I'm glad you like it 😊
Visited your site. Bloody Expensive! If I am going to spend approx US 200 per video just buying your stock, how am i supposed to make a profit selling it to clients. Market price for an Explainer video is just US 200 - 300
hi how we can make our voice. look like beautiful like how we can speak like you
Good microphone + a bit of editing in a free software like Audacity.
I wrote an in-depth guide about voiceovers here on our blog:
videoplasty.com/blog/voiceover-guide/
Hi, how do you remove the breathing noise in the microphone? Do you cut or use sound processing?
I remove them manually
@@VideoPlastyOfficial Thanks for your answer. I make breathing noises almost between each sentence. Is it also your case and then you remove everything manually? I don't know if it's me doing something wrong or if it's normal. I have an SM7B.
how i download those animation free ?
edward i like ur idea ur videos ,take love brother and stay safe
There are a few free animations here:

But mostly this is not a free thing, all of those assets take a lot of time and skill to produce, so they are paid assets.

I have a problem i keep exporting imagen that wont in the vid with a transparent background but when i OPEN them in Sevnici they End up having a white background even though the file is a PNG (transperent)
It could be a PNG without being transparent. Check the original file to make sure it actually is transparent.
Hi, I'm completely new to video editing software, searching RUclips for beginners tutorial, you were by far the best for me on explaining how to use Davinci Resolve 16,
One question, I recorded video fotage on my android phone, which has audio rec attached, which I will not be using as I have recording studio Reaper which I have my audio recorded and ready, with my video footage, cutting out the audio from the video file, do I just press mute on that audio track only ... Still lots to learn, I have subscribed to your channel, well done!
Hi Martin! That's awesome! Yes, you can just mute that audio channel... but the better way to do it is to right click on the video (with the audio), unselect Link Clips, then delete the audio completely, if you don't need it.
You can see it better in my tutorial here at this time:
ruclips.net/video/PLRqFwOkNJU/видео.html
Talk about misleading titles just for promotion purposes
Ps. Prolly everyone who watched this definitely believed all these stock animations were free

Je veux commencer à apprendre ce domaine alors quel est le programme idéal s'il vous plaît répondez
Sorry my French is limited... but DaVinci is a great program!
Hey, your tutorials are very helpful, good job! I have a question, namely, how are moving graphics made and inserted in such films as, for example, Vlad & Niki or the Kids Diana Show? I know I can do it by Fusion in Davinci or After Effects in Adobe, but in these movies with children there are thousands of it, every few seconds, sounds and so on. It would be too much work and I think it is done in some other simpler way unless I'm wrong. Do you know how it's done and could you give a hint? I will be very grateful.
I just had a quick look over these channels. I'm sure at their level they have full time editors on board. But honestly it seems that they're just elements bought from websites like VideoPlasty.com and just added on the timeline. Those are motion graphics or stock animation elements, usually on a transparent background (question marks, smoke, etc.), so it easy to add on a layer on top of the main video. Then add SFX and it really changes a lot.
Some of them could also be plugins that generate dynamic effects, overlays, backgrounds, etc. such as the ones from MotionVFX -> go.videoplasty.com/motionvfx
I use many of their plugins for Final Cut Pro, but they also have stuff for DaVinci Resolve, so definitely check it out
This video should be called how to do nothing in DaVinci Resolve.... Shocking and poor... Come on this is really weak...
Hello, can you explain maybe how they upload a "transparent" video? which format is this? I know greenscreen but didnt know that there is a format which includes transparent? Can you maybe explain what format it is or how i can do it by my self so that i only have to put a background color in? Thanks a lot!
It's in the way you create those assets or animations, usually in Adobe After Effects. It makes it very easy to use later on. You can export files with a transparent background in .MOV format, but keep in mind, not all codecs support transparency. For example .MOV encoded with PNG was the standard and it still works in some software (not in Resolve). The new standard is .MOV encoded with ProRes 4444 with alpha channel. There are some other codecs too from GoPro and a few more that support transparency, but I've never used them.
@@VideoPlastyOfficial WAOW THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! This is total new to me even if i thougt i know a bit about this. Great. Thank you really a lot this was the newest thing i have heard this year :-)
the stock animation's too expensive for me huhu

Brilliant again. I have started learning this app. Watch this space
Awesome, hope it helped!
Thanks Eduard,I downloaded this video and Got Free ANIMATION Assets
By removing the background of the assets
Haha I cheated you
Hahaha How did you do it
So you're basically admitting to committing copyright infringement, breaking the law and inviting our lawyer to join the chat?
Some days i visited the fiverr website, and i saw that there were lots of video explainer animation used voice over that sounded same, did the animator of the video use Artificial intellegence (Robot) voicer over?
.
The voice over on your exaple explainer video is also the same as the sound i heard on the explainer video on the fiverr website
The sample in this video is a human being. But I don't doubt people on Fiverr sell "voiceovers" that are computer generated. What can you expect for that price.
This was majorly falsely advertised.
How so? You get the same end result with a fraction of the time and skills.
@@VideoPlastyOfficial Because you've titled the video "DaVinci Resolve Animation", this is "DaVinci Resolve buying animations and editing them together". You can see by the many comments that you've been caught out falsely titling and tagging the videos, I've already reported it and frankly urge others to do the same until you've either renamed, or removed this steaming pile of dog turd. People need to go and watch Darren Mostyn or Chadwick (forgotten his channel name) who teach basic editing techniques. This is just garbage designed as clickbait.
That’s weird. I saw a video the other day that was almost exactly this same video
How to make animations in Resolve: Commit fraud by using other creations and claiming them as your own
Fraud? 🤦♂️ So when you license any stock asset like a stock video or a royalty free music track and use it in your project... it's fraudulent and illegal? I'm sorry my friend, but I think you don't understand how licensing works :(

Yeah man, you should change the name of the video. This is just deceiving.
No animation learned
Thanks for the video =)
missleading
Not exactly, A LOT of people are looking for a simple solution, ready to use library, drag & drop simplicity. That's been confirmed by the success of our tutorials on RUclips and by the sales on our platform.
If you're not in that category and actually want to learn how to make them from scratch, I suggest you check tutorials for vector graphics, motion graphics and character rigging in Adobe After Effects.
But please take into consideration it will take hundreds of hours to get good at it.
For everyone else who want a simpler solution, there is stock animation.
spoiler alert - he doesn't teach you how to animate in davinci
I understand you might have been looking to learn to animate directly inside DaVinci Resolve (I suggest After Effects for that actually), but a significant number of people want an easy way without having to spend hundreds of hours to learn vector graphics and motion graphics
Good video yo... People misunderstood the title. However ur stock animations are overpriced af I mean $10 for that little animation? Lmao at max like $2
Thanks! If you look at other stock marketplaces out there like ShutterStock or iStock, they charge upwards of $100 for an item... I think $10 in comparison is quite reasonable! We have massive discounts if you buy the bundles though :)
Great work sir it helps me alot
