I can't seem to get any song working on RB3. The song shows up in the song list, plays the preview but after selecting it, an error pops up saying "clean your disc" etc and the xbox returns to the dashboard. Tested with older dlc songs, RB2 era dlc and RB3 era dlc, but nothing works past the menu. Tried all the possible song cache folders but nothing worked. RB2 plays just fine, tested with multiple songs. Maybe there is something im missing, since RB3 works differently than RB2
Hmm, interesting. Well is it possible to change back to title update 4 on my game or will that cause problems? -And if I buy a another copy of RB3, would it need to be a new unopened box? Lol, that sounds like a nightmare to find- Edit: okay, did some digging and I need an EA disc instead of the Madcatz, not a unopened one, silly me :D but hey thanks, i'll start digging through ebay
Thank you but how come most of the files work but a few don't. For example I'm on un-moded xbox 360 playing Rock Band 3 with songs loaded on a thumb drive and Duran Hungry like the Wolf works but Rio does NOT. And None of the Boston songs work!

When you boot up Rock band 3 does it have the madcats logo?
Yes, first Harmonix logo, then Madcatz logo, then intro video plays
Your version does not support customs. If It has the madcats logo that means you are on title update 5 and can’t play customs
So you have to buy a different version of the game

Do you have title update 5 installed?
If so, it won’t let you play songs that are in the save data only Live files
@@spinesttiger119 No I made sure NOT to update to the madcats version. About 1,000 songs work, just not those few. Thanks!!
