Bs, he's more authentic now than he ever was. I think most RUclips critics actually aren't authentic. Many of them are just fans and don't really have reliable views on movies. So I respect that he matured and isn't trashing movies. That's what movie fandom became, trashing movies and over exaggerating how bad something is.
@@mania4270 being honest credit doesn’t mean your bashing a film. He used to be excited when he talked about movies , now he doesn’t want to burn bridges. What’s the point of watching a critic when you already know they are going to praise and like everything.
He’s a film snob, that’s it. And I think his fear of giving criticism is because he can’t handle criticism himself. Refusing to give any form of criticism is a major flaw in whatever he’s decided to make his channel into. Everybody needs some form of criticism, how else are we supposed to grow? And by looking at a movie, and only saying the good parts, and refusing to acknowledge the bad, it almost shows that you don’t care, because you’re refusing to offer any constructive criticism for future endeavors.

100%. I’m a filmmaker and still review shitty movies like Killers of the Flower Moon.
I've watched several of his reviews of movies. Good ones, bad ones.... I came to the conclusion this man doesn't know how a story is supposed to look like. For the same reason I'm not surprised his movie directing endeavor isn't really taking off.

Chris is the same fool who said in his Dark Knight Rises review, “If you don’t at like this movie, then why do you go the theater.” To each their own, but it still sounded condescending.
Chris Stuckmann lost me when he became so sanctimonious that he released a video inferring he's above movie criticism. I get what he's trying to say, but to build your brand on a specific niche for 10 years and then suddenly decide you're above that niche and everyone apart of it is pretentious and irritating. Movie criticism isn't inherently negative, Chris just wants to pat himself on the back. He lectures us quite a bit on filmmakers for a guy who hasn't even released his first film.
The worst part about it is I used to consider him one of the more positive film critics on RUclips. Yes he would curse and tear movies apart but it wasn't as negative as YMS, Ralph, and many other movie based RUclipsrs.

I think him becoming an actual filmmaker has created a conflict of interest for Chris as a film critic. Now that he's on the other side of the table I guess he's backtracking on the critiques because he doesn't want to be given a taste of his original medicine?
Well he has stated he isn’t going to review movies in a negative light, and doesn’t consider his main focus on movie reviews anymore. Which makes sense

He is scared too death that critics will bash his movie. He has a big ego and can't handle negative feedback. Criticism is important to grow and learn and do better.

How is an artist supposed to reach their full potential without criticism... its a vital part of the artistic process.
Great dissection of Chris, Joe! I honestly think you nailed it. While I do still watch most of his videos these days, it absolutely has not felt the same and I do agree that he has honestly become arrogant. I will obviously appreciate how far he has come in his life because I know it wasn't easy for him. But, I don't think his wording on things lately have been the greatest. I personally do agree with you that BvS rewrite absolutely changed him as a person.
Chris Stuckmann was an excellent film critic because he was knowledgeable about the industry, not as a professional but as a student and enthusiastic beginner uncorrupted by "Hollywood." I really enjoyed his Top 10 Best and Worst Movies of the Year from 2010 until his sad "awakening". I still watch most of his reviews, but as a complement to other reviews.

I was a huge fan of his. Started watching him in 2015. Chris was unique in that his childhood was very similar to mine. He was definitely someone I probably would have been friends with in middle and high school and we are the same age
Chris to me was the staple I would always run to whenever a new movie I was excited about dropped. I would watch him and then Jeremy Jahns. I trusted Chris to give honest , unbiased reviews to movies. If Chris liked a movie there was a 99% chance I liked it too.
That was all before 2020ish. As soon as Chris got serious about being a big movie director.... And also completely breaking away from his family I guess ?
I tried to stay with him but I just couldn't... On top of him completely abandoning criticism, I noticed he was giving positive reviews to movies and shows that 2015, or 2017 Chris would never have given positive reviews to (for good reason , poorly made movies and shows). His audience also changed, now I know there is such a thing as toxic positivity... I unsubscribed... Occasionally I will try to watch him again, but he isn't the same.
One last thing, I think it's important to know, you don't need to be a professional film maker to be a critic, just like you don't need to be a professional chef to know if a dish tastes good. Critics are important to the movie industry. Film makers, studios and producers take notice of the things critics and the audience likes and dislikes.
You know you do bring up a good point on how the BvS rewrite could’ve been the point where he made his turn into what he is now and all the backlash he got for that was awful and despicable, but part of me does miss the old Stuckmann.
I still watch his videos, he’s really like only one of the big RUclipsrs from back in the day that I still watch, though every now and then I go onto Kristian Harloff’s channel for one of his podcast episodes. But nowadays whenever he post a video, while I respect him wanting to show more love to great films, it does get predictable on what he thought of the movie to where I don’t automatically click on his video right away. Plus there’s a lot other reviewers I follow, you mentioned some of them but also Double Toasted, Geekly Goods, Reel Rejects, etc.
As far as the Madame Web video, I do think the backlash was a bit harsh and I don’t necessarily think he’s saying, “Give the filmmakers and writers a pass.” but it’s not always the studio’s fault, it’s the director and writer’s job to execute the product as good as they can. And yeah I think Stuckmann should learn there’s ways to be critical while also trying to be personal and a complete dick, especially if you want everyone involved in the production to do better next time. But that’s my stance, I still like the guy, but sometimes he needs work on what he has to say.

@@gcolbyp it's all good bud, I get what you were saying ;) and you make a point on him not exactly absolving the creative team but I also pointed it out because I've seen others make this argument too and felt the need to respond with some of the examples I mentioned.
Going forward I think he could use some self awareness with what he's saying.
He explained a long time ago that he doesn't enjoy movie criticism...he wants to be a filmmaker. Have you all ever considered that the old Chris wasn't actually the real him. He needed to make content and revenue to fund his film projects. He got to a certain level of popularity and probably made a good amount of money so he doesn't need to pretend as much anymore. People are rarely who they seem to be, especially someone you know only through social media.
Maybe he's finding it really hard to make a film and is terrified of getting dragged the way he dragged other filmmakers. I think his film is crowd-funded, too, so he can't really just back out of it. I genuinely want his film to be good and don't have any ill will towards the guy, but it seems to me that this might be what is going on.
Sigh. Somehow I knew exactly how this would go as soon as I saw Chris's video. It's somewhat admirable but I don't come to a movie youtuber for that kind of content and I know that's just me. I liked Chris's video about movies his opinion changed on; I've tried to be better about movies like that various Star Wars movies,X-3, Spiderman 3,Titanic and others. It's wild how this changed with your clips over the years. Love that your in the Austin Burke/Sean Chandler/Zack Pope side of YT now; they're a good group of guys. It's sad this is more interesting than anything about Madam Web.
Its definitely since he started making his own movie. Suddenly "Movie makers and every one, cast crew, all of them, they must not be criticised, I should know, I make movies now". But........even film makers criticise other film makers. Its just............talking about things like that is part of being human and without criticism things will never improve.
Guys, he has been like this a LONG time. The sponsor for his Ghostbuster Afterlife review was the Ghostbuster official game. That is not even trying to be objective or present yourself with a shred of ethics. I know he is not a journalist but he has zero standards and was always a shill. Everyone just noticed it now.

I mean... What I'm understanding is Sony hired an unexperienced director and a writer who wrote awful movies. So they hired a cheap director and writer. Meaning that yes, it's the studio's fault. Yes, sometimes studio interference is a good thing, but Sony is just crapping out this movies with no care just to keep the rights. The only one of those movies I've even kind of liked was the first Venom. Each one has gotten worse. Because Sony doesn't care about quality.
I've got nothing for Chris.

Excellent video Joe, made some excellent points on Chris Stuckmann.
For me I remember back in 2011 I remember watching Chris Stuckmann’s videos on his reviews especially with certain movies like, The Smurf’s is the first video I saw and I have been following him for a good amount of 5 to 6 years and he does have a passion for movies and his love for cinema.
And my favourite review of his is Fantastic Four (2015) aka Fant4stic which I got a kick out of that which reminds of me losing my cool with that movie 😂 and his Emoji Movie review had my ear drums left me numb and deaf for a week or two!
I did notice the way in his video he comes across as bored or just doesn’t have the energy or have that same energy like he had in the past, and especially he’s more forgiving on the filmmakers and not giving them criticism but not to the point of bullying them just give them what they have to improve on!
I do respect him as a person and am sure he’s a nice guy in real life, and I wish him all the best in his film career as a filmmaker.
I’ll never forget that meltdown from his “Emoji” review 😳😅 and his rant on Fant4stic and occasionally I still watch them for a good laugh and a sense of bittersweet feelings since his change in attitude.
Honestly, I feel like this has been a long time coming with him, trying to get into the entertainment industry given he has said multiple times that he wants to make movies of his own but I just wish that it had gone differently for him. Either way, wishing him the best going forward!
Solid video, Joe. I think if we're gonna talk about movies, we have a right to criticize them even if it's good. I've recently just unsubscribed from him because he's just not the same anymore. I've been doing this for almost 10 years coming next year and I feel its my right to talk about the good and bad of movies or TV shows.
I had a similar situation with another RUclipsr, Cinematic Venom.
Once after watching Venom's Endgame video, I stopped watching his videos and unsubscribed to him. Don't like his way of reviewing movies now!
As others have said, he certainly realized that making his own movie was going to bring his critical past back to haunt him, so he 180'd. I mean what else could he do? He must have some sense that his movie will blow. I've enjoyed watching his reviews over the years; sometimes he has insights that didn't occur to me so it's interesting enough. When he announced Shelby Oaks I thought two things: (1) Huh, he knows a thing or two about how movies suck so maybe he'll be able to avoid some pratfalls. And (2) He thinks "indie horror" is a genre when really it's more of a *class* of movie... as in: we couldn't get decent funding or talent for our bad movie so we're doing this "independent" from the big studios.
The prequels were a better trilogy even if the films were flawed. I fucking love them.
This makes me NOT want to be a RUclipsr. I'd hate to have people hunt down my family cause I didn't like a movie.
Takes a special person to be able to deal with all that stuff, especially in the entertainment industry when numerous people have dealt with stalkers.
I hate that high profile people have to deal with that.
I agree with you-the idea that some guy tracked down Stuckmann’s father,called him up and started giving him grief is a level of obsessive hostility that borders on the psychopathic.
There’s also the very disturbing fact that death threats were made against Stuckmann’s wife.

I think this is a great analysis. I also understand where Chris is coming from with this, we've all encountered the toxicity of online discourse, and crazy people who'll take a beef too far. However I also increasingly watch a lot of the 'people who are negative about everything', and I understand why are lot of those people are angry. I note very few of them are negative about the dune movie out right now, so they aren't really negative about everything. And that points to a dividing line here. When the angry people say "oh, this movie's actually good", that's when I sit up and take notice, that's useful information, because they've been broken out of their usual state. On the other hand, with Chris self-censoring like this, even for the best reasons, devalues him as a source of information: I can't trust that what he's saying is what he really feels. But at least, thanks to this video, I have a better understanding why he's taken the stance he has.
Very simply put you can't be both a film maker an a film critic.
Hi Joe, hope you're doing well. A really good video and quite informative, hope you like to here mine as well so here it is. While I do agree that the director and writers for Madame Webb should be held accountable for their role, but for this scenario, most of the blame should go to Sony for not choosing the right writers and director, same with constantly interfering too much on the creative aspect, and rushing the movie production to be released so soon, rather than slowing down and giving it some time to fix some issues here. Now as for MCU films regarding Kevin Fiege, he does have a say in those movies, and has done a really great job from Phase 1 to Phase 3 including the entire film crew for all those movies (directors, actors, writers, visual effect artists, etc.). But I do think Phase 4 and 5, most of us can agree that MCU doesn't hit the same, and needs a big change, but that's for another topic, same with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 and the Star Wars Films, we can discuss that another time. My main point is that, over time, Chris does probably want to step away from film criticism, and wants to be a filmmaker, which is totally OK. I think some youtubers and fans have blown it way out of proportion and took it too seriously when he just wants to state his own opinion. That's my overall opinion. 13:00 yup that’s it for me. His initial video a couple of years about only appreciating movies etc came across as pompous and self absorbed. Almost unnecessary. With his stated position he has cornered himself. Black Mass, TinTin, Predators are films he rated as mid. He didn’t trash them. With his stance, even these are off the table
I've grown bored with his reviews about 3 years ago. Nothing personal just it got to the point I just knew if he would recommend it or think it was just meh. I think for a while he was just trying to keep up with the ever changing algorithm. He has a certain demeanor that can be off-putting. I see why he doesn't want to burn any bridges with his criticism. If nothing else his name is now everywhere now.
Very true about the rewrite he did. I been watching him for years and remember when he used to be WAY more full of energy and would decimate any bad movie. Just watch his Fant4stic review. A lot of people only attribute his changed attitude to him getting into the film industry, but he had slowly showed signs of changing way before that. Particularly in ‘16 when he got lambasted for his rewrite and in his original reaction video he did to it (which he since took down) you can tell how deeply hurt he was by the experience. Slowly after that I noticed he became more respectful, mature, and fair in his reviews. Even stopping his worst movies of the year list in ‘17. And then in ‘21 he finally decided to stop negatively reviewing anything whatsoever

You've articulated this perfectly. My timeline of losing interest in him aligns with yours exactly. I'm not a prude at all, but the vulgarity struck me as off-putting early on too.
I suspect that he was adversely affected by film school, and it sucked the soul/whimsy/humor out of him. He seems like an impressionable person to me whose going through his "rebellious" phase way too late because of his cultist upbringing.
Stuckmann's defining flaw is that he doesn't know you can be critical and be personal at the same time.

I personally have lost a lot of respect for Chris Stuckmann, but this video that this guy from his channel Fury of the Film Fan did on Chris Stuckmann made me lose respect for him more. He talks about how Chris basically ghosted him and his wife because they gave Chris advice that he was above. There are other things covered in this video, but it's sad tbh. Also, it makes sense why John Flickinger and Chris Stuckmann had a falling out. John Flickinger just sounds sad when fans ask him about Chris in his livestreams. Chris' ego is growing and not in a good way.

I remember the name Fury of the Film Fan back when I discovered Stuckmann’s videos but couldn’t find any from him. I’ll have to check out this video then, and as for John Flickinger I’m not really crazy about him and even though I liked his collaborations with Chris it’s still disheartening to see him bummed out that they’re no longer friends.

I watched that video earlier today and it made me loose a lot of respect for Chris who I adored for years. Although in the last couple of years I’ve found him more and more boring 😴

I'll say this, filmmaking is a form of art. Artists tend to shy away from expressing negative feelings about other artists' work (other than rap music lol). As you start to grow in your artistic field, highlighting negative opinions on an artist's work (even if we mean it and it is valid) feels misguided. I started doing film criticism in 2017 and began making films of my own in 2020. Similarly to Chris, there was a switch in my head in moving away from publicly piling on to films I didn't like. Don't get me wrong, the movies still SUCK but it can come off as you are holier than thou as a filmmaker commenting on someone else.
I can see how disappointing Chris' new approach but you can't knock his evolution in context. Chris made a point in his Madame Web review that he couldn't buy a writer concepting a final action set piece under a giant Pepsi sign (granted the writers of the film have a HORRIBLE track record). In context, Chris wanted to focus on how Sony did not care about making a good movie and was only concerned with retaining rights. So while it is easy to destroy the filmmakers behind the movie, the bigger picture is Sony has continued their streak of creating lackluster Spidey-based movies regardless of creative team. There seems to be a common denominator.

Maybe he thought people would actually be genuinely interested in what he had to say? Hindsight, that probably wasn’t a smart idea because he should’ve put in a disclaimer of some kind that it wasn’t his greatest effort. He doesn’t always seem to think things through.
I watched a few of his reviews and never seemed to agree with him on anything so I've not paid attention ever since.
I disagree about one thing. I think him getting the email from the person who was reconsidering being a writer did not happen.
The part where supposedly the email says “obviously you didn’t put much effort into it” is a dead giveaway that he made it up. That’s his justification for why the rewrite is bad, he even repeats it as himself later. Someone writing an email to him would not say that.
That was him telling his critics: See? Being mean to me is hurting others, you better stop.
As a filmmaker and editor myself of indie films of many years; Yeah it's hard but because you made "ONE" doesn't make you 'filmmaker'. I'm still a Film critic and Don't give a shit what some studio execs say!. That's weak. If you're a film Critic; Do your job.

@@Brotallicus I was just comparing his words after only one film and wrote/directed. He wasn’t the cinematographer or crew or editor. Most of us do ALL that stuff and more. So yes filmmaking IS hard. But you can’t say it after one experience. Every film in a different.

7:04 may be early to mid 2017, it started when his studio turned blue. He went from super enthousiast (which I think with retrospect, was a persona kinda that he adopted) to more laid back , Mellow guy (which i think was the real him). I found that on an Old Q&a with John Flick(2013 ish), where ppl found him different from his channel. He said it was normal him, his a mellow guy.
I spent my first 20 years of life in that cult.
He had it easy compared to most. Now hes a millionaire so... thats nice. Others didnt survive... but poor him!
The "Schmoes" are not quite better. Since their growth with "Collider Movie Talk", some egos inflated to the point of public meltdowns for not getting invites to studios events. Harloff is now beyond obnoxious.
I prefer Mark Reilly and always have. Never cared for Harloff at all.
I go to Critical Drinker and Jeremey John's now for critic reviews. At least they are honest.
Looking forward to Shelby Oaks. I miss critics like Siskel & Ebert.
He’s not saying the movie would’ve been good if Sony gave them creative control. The film was doomed from the beginning because Sony wanted a movie to confuse marvel fans into watching. It was no one’s artistic vision. No one was passionate about it. It was a cynical corporate product. That’s the problem.
So they spent 100 million dollars on a movie they wanted to fail? That's silly. They did their best, and this is the end result. They had faith in the wrong people(writers and director), and when they tried to intervene the damage had already been done.

They hired a director who’d never made a film before and writers who had made pure shite. They care only about the money not about making a good film. They wanted to trick people into seeing it by using the marvel brand. Again, a cynical corporate product.

One other thought. I wonder how much longer we are going to get Nostalgia Critic? I've noticed he doesn't do nearly the same level of production anymore, and he has some health problems now. Combine that with the his channel stalling out (Have absolutely no idea why that is) I think he is going to retire, or just do reviews by himself and downsize Channel Awesome. To this day his review of Fury Road is legendary. Man, getting old suxxxxxx. At least we still have Red Letter Media and Jahns. Although even Red letter media has veered away from the skit productions in recent months

thing is how are we going to get better things if there is no criticism? its not all about negativity, he did praise good movies as anyone should, but calling out flaws and calling out cashgrabs and lazyness is how the % of bad movies will go down, there is a reason top grossing movies are those and not madame-wed look alikes, wouldnt it be better if every movie was more like the top grossing and we improved further? Then you need to point out whats wrong and why so that it can be fixed

A lot of this just feels like over interpreting someone’s tone. Peoples opinions change, people’s priorities change, and there’s really nothing wrong with that! As far as his take on Madame Web goes, you can trash the writers, actors and director all you want, that’s the movie the studio asked for! So, in my opinion, putting most of the blame on them for the core issues the movie has isn’t that off base. Not saying you shouldn’t have made this video, but I think the take of “he doesn’t make the videos I want him to anymore, so he’s not worth watching now” is pretty reductive and doesn’t add much to the conversation around film criticism. Sorry, just how I feel!

Well you can't maintain the same level of enthusiasm after years of doing the same thing man, you can't really blame anyone for that, granted people will lose interest of your contents by the change because with the change comes mixed signals, but that's just inevitable. But for better or worse people change, I bet you also change after 10+ years of creating contents.
Also reviewers/critics are allowed to change their opinions, and the fact that they own up to their changes and admit that they changed their opinion is good, that proves that they ain't stubborn about their past outlook and open to change.
I'm a former subscriber of Chris, I unsub because I no longer enjoy his contents that much anymore, but even so, I can accept that change is imminent, it is what it is.
I’m aware that people change over time and I know that I’m probably gonna be different 10 years from now when I do this. The differences I’m going to try my best to not become a cold hearted cynic.

It was thru him that I knew and started following Flick pick
I discovered him in late 2015 after I was curious if other people found “Pan” as terrible as I did. (I don’t remember his review though xD)
I especially watched him enthusiastically from like 2016-2019, though my big red flag was his review for The Rise of Skywalker, because when he talked about what he liked he didnt sound enthusiastic at all.
His video on why he left JW (which I can’t blame him for) was probably the biggest video back in early 2021, though the video he released later that year on why he wont do negative reviews anymore was the biggest change, obviously.
I just found his videos afterwards were….boring.

He shit on the Prequels from the very beginning, and his apology, felt like a non apology, hell, after Rise of the Skywalker come out he did another non apology, saying how his friends felt different things about the movie, at difference from Jeremy Jahns he never apologise for the toxic environment that he foster along side Red Letter Media along the years, shitting and splitting on the Prequels fans and every Star Wars fans that not agree with his point of view, he was very dishonest.
While Jeremy has vocal about his disdain for the prequels, his Revenge of the Sith review opens with his giving synopsis of the film and admitting that while he has criticized the films, he did find enjoyment in watching Episode 3. And I think afterwards he did a video admitting that the sequel trilogy actually legitimized the prequels for him.

I'm not understanding what exactly his issue is with Chris Stuckmann. Because he cursed too much in his later videos? All I'm hearing is a lot of vague stuff about feelings and vibes which doesn't really mean anything. I think this person just decided to make a video about his feelings about Stuckmann without a valid argument to back up what his saying or a sound reason that allows people to understand his position even if they don't agree with him. Look, his entitled to his feelings but without a sound argument it's hard for people like me to really understand what his trying to say or even relate to what his saying.

The emoji movie intro was pure cringe. Chris has always been incredibly bland. He’s always been the movie reviewer for people who ‘want’ to be critics, instead of people who are capable of actually critiquing with actual insight.
Ralph the movie maker ended up the same way. Was an ok critic for a while until he tried to make his own films and got completely throttled.
So with this vid, you kind of missed the nuance of what Chris was saying. You can either be an artist or critic, not both. Why would someone want to work with someone else who trashed their work? Its not about getting better, criticism is subjective. Why should they listen to chris stuckman?
His film will probably bomb. Even something like the recent movie Thanksgiving ( which I liked ) will look far superior.

I personally disagree with his attitude about studios interfering, because if someone doesn't like it then they can start their own studio and do whatever they want with it. I'm not MAD at him for thinking that though, even though to me it sounds pretty naive especially for someone as steeped in this world as he is. I'm still not especially emotional about it, and I have a hard time imagining that anyone else is. I just have a feeling that if these same people were out to dinner with him, and he said the exact same thing to them in private, they wouldn't lose sleep over it. But, he didn't say it in private, people are looking around and they smell blood in the water. The only way I can make sense of people making him take a hit for this, is because that must be what they already wanted.

One example Is he said thor dark world was a great movie and better then the first thor. The first thor was awesome, dark world was borderline unwatchable and had one of the most throw away generic villains ever.
To date, the only film I can think.of that was good but had a generic bland throw away villain was guardians of the galaxy
On EFAP they analized his video on Madame Web and then read an interview the director gave to Variety I believe, funny thing is that about 80% of the ideas on the movie were from the director, not the studio. She pretty much had total liberty to do whatever she wanted.

You should check out his NWH spoiler video where he practically sucked up to Andrew Garfield’s performance in that movie because everybody else was doing that. When he did that, I literally groaned just as much as I did on his stance on the prequel trilogy in order to appease the sequel haters.

Yes he made a Madame Web video criticising Sony Pictures and defending the filmmaker. However, that video might hurt his career as a upcoming filmmaker. Studios have concetions and rumors spreads like wild fire these days. Let's say a high level exectuvie watched his Madame Web video. That person will make sure his movie never sees the light of day because of that video.

Madame Web was never a film made for the sake of art either. Like Morbius or Tros, there is a clear indication that studios consider the TikTok generation to be the main audience to adhere to, and that generation does not care about craft. Studios will jeopardize any creative art for the sake of simplicity, preferably with as much exposition-heavy dialogue as possible. I mean ffs, Madame Web was literally made because it is a Spiderman-related property, which means money. The filmmaker was set up to fail, the filmmaker can only have so much power, hence why they probably hired a rookie to boss around. Studio interference is a BIG problem and you are being ignorant if you can not see that. Also, Raimi was forced to add Venom, who drastically hurt the pacing of Spiderman 3.

There is definitely a subset of youtubers who steer clear of criticizing large studio films when they are embroiled in controversy, whether it was created by the studio or the fandom. They tend to propagate access media drama, like they wish to curry favor. They are the ones who make public statements about racism, sexism etc.
He’s playing the game now. Selling out, he will never change while he’s being told he can possibly make a film. If I was him I would just say hey guys I can’t criticise films anymore because I’m trying to work along side these guys, but that’ll hurt his bottom line so it’ll never happen as he probably cares more about money and recognition. I don't understand why Stuckmann is famous. He's always been mediocre. I found him like 10 years ago and got bored with him after watching 2 or 3 of his vids. I didn't even know he was still around until all this started. There's plenty of movie reviewers out there that actually put a little creative effort into their presentations. All Stuckmann does is stand there and give his bland opinions. And then at the end he says "Get Stuckmannized!". He probably thinks that so clever 🙄

You do realize that I’m not the only one who’s made a video on him? All you gotta do is look up Chris Stuckman Madame Web reactions and you’ll find plenty of people who have had their say besides me so don’t act like I’m the only one who’s done it.
And if I wanted to be part of the RUclips drama, I would’ve been railing against him and other RUclipsrs a long time ago if you actually took the time to look at some of my content and realize that it’s not what I want here. I only felt like doing this because of how much he inspired me back in the day, other than that I don’t make any videos and anybody else that I watch.

I can’t speak for anybody else but for myself as someone who was a fan of his for a long time, I found it quite disheartening to see what he’s become even though I understand his position on approaching film discussion. He inspired a lot of people on here so I’m not surprised some of them upset.
Again, I can’t speak for the whole collective fanbase. These are just my own observations and things that I’ve noticed over the last several years since I’ve followed his channel and I thought I’d share my own thoughts since everyone else has been doing the same.
