Many Thanks to Marcus , Brent, and the Band y'all Killed It!!!!!! Keep Up the Beautiful Classics !!!!! Looks like two V's, an SG, Brent's/Marcus vocals, killer drums, you know it's gonna rock!! Peace , Love and Soul!!
Tremendous 🤘🤘🤘🤘 They should definitely work on something together in the future. The band is so tight and the drummer has incredible feel and groove 👍👍👍
This is the first time if ever listened to any of these guys. Me being a huge black Sabbath fan brought me here.first off they did a fantastic cover . very well done the extra lead work was great.I wasn't sure what to think from the get go. It was like the Amish meets soul train light show meets doom metal
I keep coming back to this, it's so bloody good. I don' t have a super close relationship with Black Sabbath so I prefer this to the original, tell the truth.
I’d love to see Marcus King and Billy Strings do an entire cover album. They could have some friends sit in for a track or two, like Dirty B Hinds. Just covering classic hard rock music. Can you imagine?!?
Oh wow... my mentor of Rock shared this with a friend of mine who shared with me , and here I am.. lol yes !!!! This is just so freaking cool 😎.. great job 👏 great job on the guitar riffs my friend lol too cool
B. Hinds with MKB???? Who'd a thunk it. Badass!!!!! I would love to see more of these collabs between such different artists. What a beautiful thing, just jammin some shit with no fuckin egos. Sweet!!!
Andrew Jacobs I was trying to catch a name on the Headstock the entire video. Not only the Bigsby Trems, but look at the exotic wood choices and high gloss finishes. Super rad guitars, and I’m curious about them too!
Ironically Roy there were a few guys that work at the Opry who did the video portion of this show .... we like metal as well 🤘🏻. They love Marcus over there. If you look at the Circle Network , current home of the Opry tv broadcast there is a special on Marcus that airs occasionally as part of a “new” American artist series .
Pretty sure Marcus sums it up best at 7:02
F !*k yes !
Brent is slowly becoming Billy Gibbons
Brently Hibbons?
Billy Gibbons on steroids
Hahahahhaha exactly 💯 BozZGibbons
I ain't complaining 1 bit.
Brently Gibson
Epic, Brent has always had a lil Ozzy in his voice
Always thought that from the time I first heard Mastodon's cover of Emerald!
My buddy calls it the “Ozzy Filter” or sometimes “Ozzytune”
True story
Absolutely!
precisely
Wicked lighting too! Let's show the lightning guy some love.
Was just about to say it was too much... Heh.
really wondering what type those 3 left, center and right are...
Hands down to the whole road crew for this one!!!
As someone who was a teen in the 90s, this brought me back. This was a very 90s style light show. It's pretty awesome.
Brent needs to do some more sabbath covers he fits perfectly
Holy shit, the drums. The tone on the kit is mean. The snare hits are meaty.
Noble and Cooley drums are awesome. Family run business. Totally underrated..
Heavy Metal looks good on Marcus King
He already got the looks
I will take a heavy af MKB album any day. Give me Mastodon bros sitting in as well.
One of the best Sabbath songs in my opinion! Doesn’t get nearly enough credit
Probably because the album it’s on has War Pigs, Paranoid, Hand of Doom, Planet Caravan so it’s easy to skip
@@chadgrov wtf planet caravan and paranoid are both filler songs even tony said so. Electric Funeral is one of the heaviest songs sabbath ever made.
wade wilson meh it’s alright. Under the Sun is probably they’re heaviest
Opening riffs missing that wah🤷🏾♂️guess I’m listening too close🤣
I'm a simple man, I see Brent, I upvote.
Georgi Kolarov redditor
Amen
Now I kinda want Mastodon to do a Black Sabbath cover album.
They could do an every cover album
I'd definitely give that a listen...
I used to have a face but it melted
Two guitar giants, This is incredible...
This is the collab i did not know i needed. Two very different ends of the music spectrum and I love them both!
Many Thanks to Marcus , Brent, and the Band y'all Killed It!!!!!! Keep Up the Beautiful Classics !!!!! Looks like two V's, an SG, Brent's/Marcus vocals, killer drums, you know it's gonna rock!! Peace , Love and Soul!!
holy shit! that is a dope combo i never expected to see...mental
Brent sounds fucking amazing when he is not drunk.
dude they fkn nailed that sht.
And those guitars are SICK
Brent's style really adds a nice touch to the solos.
Tremendous 🤘🤘🤘🤘 They should definitely work on something together in the future. The band is so tight and the drummer has incredible feel and groove 👍👍👍
Geezer Butler is a fucking genius and he doesn’t get enough credit
Best thing I’ve seen since I saw Blackberry Smoke live and they covered Fairies Wear Boots! Amazing!🤘🤘🤘🤘✌️🎸
This is the first time if ever listened to any of these guys. Me being a huge black Sabbath fan brought me here.first off they did a fantastic cover . very well done the extra lead work was great.I wasn't sure what to think from the get go. It was like the Amish meets soul train light show meets doom metal
The Gibson and orange gear with the laser show is mouth watering
This was so bad ass! I'm f'n blown away at how awesome this is!
Killer cover version executed brilliantly by two very talented musicians 🤘🎸

Holy fuck, unreal. Love it. Jack and stevo look like they're having fun, brilliant
2 of the best in the game right now! Also those V builds from Banker guitars are 🔥🔥🔥
One of my favorite rhythm sections! Lucky to get to see MKB at the Calvin Theater this past December as my last show before lockdown.

Man this is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing. I’m a fan of fans of sabbath.
This is really great !!
Just had this for breakfast. Won’t need to eat the rest of the day!
can't decide what i like best but narrowed it down to either the rock or the roll...all hail Lord Iommi!
I like the closed Flying Wings!!! It looks awsome!!!
I keep coming back to this, it's so bloody good. I don' t have a super close relationship with Black Sabbath so I prefer this to the original, tell the truth.
I would roll over and die with joy if the Marcus King Band did a Sabbath cover lp! ❤️🔥🫠🫠🫠🔥🎸🤘
This was surprisingly killer, great job guys.
WOW!😳😳🤘🔥 I think I just had my first eargasm🤯🤯🤯
Same
Wow!!! That was beautiful. :)
Loved it!!!
This is what I love about southern boys , they'll play together and if their music is not the same they come together and jam on a tune they like .
Roll Tide😂🤣
I’d love to see Marcus King and Billy Strings do an entire cover album. They could have some friends sit in for a track or two, like Dirty B Hinds. Just covering classic hard rock music. Can you imagine?!?
Dirty B Hinds is the best. I love his train song
They are the same person. You ever see em together?
Oh wow... my mentor of Rock shared this with a friend of mine who shared with me , and here I am.. lol yes !!!! This is just so freaking cool 😎.. great job 👏 great job on the guitar riffs my friend lol too cool
Thanks gentlemen and super thanks for touring your two bands through Spokane, WA! Please return soon. Love y'all!
Sabbath are the reason I became a musician I heard the paranoid album as a kid and it blew my mind
Holy shit my mind is blown. Praise Odin

Dude looks like hes gotta jump in his Peterbilt a get to Atlanta with a load of hot beer immediately after this set.
God i just wish Brent was a BIT louder
Wow I never would've thought that these two would collaborate, much less absolutely DESTROYING one of the best Sabbath songs. Praise jeebus.
So cool man!
This is my first time seeing a Gibson V with a Bigsby on it. Now I want one.
It's a Banker custom - lookup up Banker Guitars or check out Chicago Music Exchange

Shout out Banker Custom Guitars
Whiskey thank you! I was trying to figure out what they were!
Fucking amazing!
youtube compression's loving all the stage lights
Unfortunately it was like that at the source.
I need to know more about those guitars it like a Bigbsy tremolo on a flying v?
Andrew Jacobs I was trying to catch a name on the Headstock the entire video. Not only the Bigsby Trems, but look at the exotic wood choices and high gloss finishes. Super rad guitars, and I’m curious about them too!
@@daltonwynn3786 they're made by Banker Guitars 👍🏻
Shaun Robinson thank you!!
Long live B Hinds!!!!!
Don't let the guys at the Grand Ole Opry see this, they'll never invite Marcus back again ever
Ironically Roy there were a few guys that work at the Opry who did the video portion of this show .... we like metal as well 🤘🏻. They love Marcus over there. If you look at the Circle Network , current home of the Opry tv broadcast there is a special on Marcus that airs occasionally as part of a “new” American artist series .
here's a mind blower. Marcus is 22 years younger than Brent (46 vs 24) and he already plays like that.
Hendrix was 24 when he released Are You Experienced . . . just sayin'
Found Maynard's lost keys!!!
They should start their own band together!
So cool! Did they do any other songs?
