Saw him burn down the Maple leaf in Nola a few years ago during jazzfest. Susan tedeschi came up and sang with Derek in the room. It was the best night of music in my life. Stayed till 6:30am jamming.

Warren Haynes. Jackie Pearson. And especially DEREK TRUCKS. Get real. Anyway. Betts said he didn't get why people requested this song so much. He considered it pretty basic.
Saw Marcus King Band at Eric Clapton's Crossroads in Dallas, Texas 2019. He played the first night and blew everybody else away. Awesome. He came out and announced that he was about to give us 100% and expects 100% back from us. He did, and we did. 🎸

You should check out Gator Country fom Molly Hatchet. It captures all the magic this does. They would destroy that song.
