1978...and right at the end of the OZZY era Black Sabbath...I don't know of any actual footage of this particular song from 1970, which is a damn shame!
I can’t believe Tony is missing part of his ring finger, arguably the most important finger in guitar because it allows you to stretch across the neck while still hitting a note with the pointer finger. Guys a true legend with or without part of his finger lol.
Both middle and ring fingers yes. Very well known both heartbreaking and inspiring story. Look up the history of that my dude, it was a cruel accident but it incidentally helped create the sound of low tuned metal we know and love ever since Sabbath.
@@Lvddwow didn’t realize that makes them way ahead of their time with that reference...I’ve seen the live versions where Ozzy literally sais “COCAINE” after every verse isntead of the one! Lol

🎉well... saw sabbath on this night in 1972. Geezer was all over the place with a black. Coffin with a silver cross in the middle on an orange jump suit. With a clear build. As for ozzy he is always to stage left.
The only thing not cool about this performance is you can see Tony fully immersed in his druggy Rock Star Alpha stage as he's bullying Ozzy by making him stand to his left while he takes Center Stage...........Long Live The guys though...........

That intro by Tony was so awesome
that was from Warning off their first album
