I used to be VERY pro-choice until I became pregnant and saw my 10 week sour patch looking fetus jumping and what it looked like dancing. I cried so much. At that moment I realize that I can’t control nor I owned that tiny body. My job as a pregnant woman is to protect it at least until it arrives to this world. After that, there are plenty of choices like ADOPTION. I will never support abortion again.

@@hexl702too5How are you reading any of that into her comments? All children deserve a chance to live. The circumstances of their conception are not any fault of their own. Whether or not that child is wanted by its parents, it has inherent value. Your life does not become less valuable when another person doesn’t want you. Every person in the world could reject you and it wouldn’t diminish the inherent value of your life.
The same goes for all people, whether the child is a zygote or embryo or fetus or infant or toddler or teenager or the adult is young, middle aged, or elderly. Being unwanted does not make a person unimportant and lacking in value. That is the entire point of pro-life.

They oversimplify the science to justify their narrative AND because science is complex, there's no such thing as "mental gymnastics" to justify abortion because science itself IS GYMNASTICS due to its complexity.

When I found out I was pregnant I wanted an abortion... I was addicted to drugs and in jail. How on earth could I possibly take care of a child when I couldnt even take care of myself. Thank God I was in jail and abortion was not an option. I went to rehab after jail, I developed a very close relationship with God, myself and my child's dad got married, I got my nursing license back. We're 7 years clean now. It's hard to imagine that I ever considered abortion. It would've been ending our greatest blessing.

Yes he was born in 1958 so abortion wasn't legal or even widely avalible... but he and his twin sister were adopted, because his mother still chose them over herself.

The issue with some of the pro-life stance is the lack of abortion access available to rape/ incest survivors. Hell, some states don’t even provide exceptions to people whose lives are at risk from giving birth.
When someone’s choice to consent is already stolen, it shouldn’t be stolen again.
“We looked at 22 states where strict new abortion laws are, or are about to be, enforced.
Of those 22 states, 15 offer no exceptions for rape, incest, or both. Those states are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin.”
I’ve looked up a few of those states individually. They had no exception for rape/ incest. In some cases, like TN, there wasn’t even an exception for people who were at risk of death from giving birth.
“15 states with new or impending abortion limits have no exceptions for rape, incest” from the Poynter organization.
This page includes a diagram of states not including exceptions for rape/ incest.
“Most Abortion Bans Include Exceptions. In Practice, Few Are Granted.” By Amy Schoenfeld Walker.
I agree abortion shouldn’t be used as an alternative for birth control. But it should be an option for those that never consented to sex or could die from the pregnancy.

I just happened to see it pop-up on my suggested videos and i clicked (only God knows why) and of course i was ready to be super angry and annoyed by this "pro-life nazi"....and then i had my entire worldview shattered. Kristin completely dismantled my long held beliefs piece by piece and did so methodically and with grace, patience, and genuine passion. Her arguments were so strong and sound, and backed by facts/science in a way that i had never heard before (because, lets be real, the liberal propaganda machine is powerful) and i remember finishing that video in tears. And i sat there wondering-- what else have i been completely lied to about all my life? And today, after a 2 year journey, i am a loud and proud conservative! Because it is the ONLY way to bring our country and society to a sane, healthy, balanced, caring, strong, patriotic, moral, loving, hardworking, fair, and blessed place!

I would also like to say I did not have a great childhood at all, even when I was 17 I was still going through very hard struggles and not the greatest situations, but once I found out that I was to become a mother all of the cares and worries about myself went away and I knew I could take care of my child and give them the life I never had, and make sure they are never talked to, abused, or in any violent situations like I was put in since I was a little girl. Two things. When I was pro choice I used to think that abortion should be legal because some women, no matter what, will find a way to get one. But then I realized that this thinking is the same as, “you might as well make it legal for people to drink and drive because there will always be someone drinking and driving. I immediately debunked that statement with my own logic. The second thing is that it took me a long time to realize that I want to have children. I thought, “the world is overpopulated, there is suffering, there is so much cruelty, so why bring a child into this chaotic world?” But then I realized that in order to change the world that we live in, we ourselves and our future generations are the ones who will need to take a stand to end all injustices. Otherwise, we will complain and do absolutely nothing about it. I now also know that we don’t have an over population issue. I’m proud of people like Kristen who take a stand for what they believe in.

At 17 weeks pregnant I was told my daughter was going to live life as a vegetable or die very young. She was missing part of her brain and the situation was looking very bad. I was pushed at every specialist appointment I had to terminate the pregnancy to spare me the emotional damage and to spare her any suffering. I denied every single time. And now my daughter is 6 months old and is HEALTHY and perfectly fine. Glory be to God! These “doctors” that are so well educated and smart told me to kill a perfectly healthy, happy, and special little baby. Her brain is formed just fine and we have no complications. I think about every single day what my life would be like without her here. How devastated I would be and the wonder of who she would be burned into my brain. And now I get to love her every single day. Killing a child is NEVER the answer.

@@Taylor_mamaof2I'm guessing that most people abuse weed and just use anxiety and morning sickness as an excuse, but it really can help with some things in moderation. I avoided edibles because it's hard to find the right dose. Fortunately, I never had real morning sickness. But my grandmother died towards the end of my first trimester of my first pregnancy. I used a vaporiser and only took a small puff on the rare occasion that everything was just too much. She was the most important person in my life other than my grandfather. In the last months of each pregnancy, I'd get some weird maddening feeling in my legs when I'd go to bed at night. Often yoga would help enough that I could sleep, but sometimes the only thing that helped was cannabis. But I never used more than a small puff at a time. Missed or spontaneous abortion is the proper medical term for a pregnancy that ends in the death of the baby. Elective abortion is choosing the death of the baby. Abortion comes from the Latin word abortionem… most of our medical terms come from root Latin words.

@Izzyb70217 Thanks for that, I googled it and found that 'abortion' comes from 'aboriri' or 'abortio', which translates to miscarry. But the modern definition of abortion specifies "intent." Spontaneous intent...🤭 so with the modern definition, it's an oxymoron, but the original definition it makes sense.

Absolutely. My Mom lost a baby to a miscarriage, and I never had the chance to mourn my little brother. I gave him a name, Iacopo ( = James). Sibling Bereavement Syndrome is a thing. Maybe it's due to different life experiences, but these girls who say "Eh, it's not conscious, woh cares" have probably never felt the connection with a sibling in the womb, and the sudden severing of it. And if they have felt it, they are sociopaths along with their mother, sorry but I have no other word for it. Same for Yellow Tee's reasoning "I was not conscious, I would not care if I had been aborted". Yeah, and all the lives she has impacted positively? Oh wait, probably none, with that attitude. I was seven, I knew what was going on. Today, several religious groups organize funerals for aborted babies, spontaneously or otherwise. Iacopo did not have that chance, but he lives forever in my heart and beyond.

I think the most important thing I learned that really shifted my mindset, was that abortion clinics have gained so much popularity because some women don’t want to take responsibility for their careless actions. When adults want to do a consensual adult thing together, they need to be willing to accept the adult consequences, and not get frequent flyer miles to their nearest clinic or pharmacy.

Who could blame them? Complaining about these students yelling is like saying Jews were rude when they protested Hitler. I'm not condoning the violence but I understand their anger. Abortion is healthcare when it's before 19 weeks. "Life" is complex and means different things at every stage. Just because we kiII a life doesn't immediately make it murder and that's hard for people to understand. Most other countries are already past this debate because hey understand the complexity of life and they know where to draw lines in what is ok to destroy.

@@sammyalabamy111 I agree, I don't kiII innocent babies but fetuses before 19 weeks aren't biologically, physiologically, functionally, and homeostatically different and completely unviable. Just because they're alive doesn't make them equivalent to your newborn baby. There's a reason fetuses before 19 weeks are compared to tumors. Yes yes they're VASTLY DIFFERENT my argument isn't that fetuses are tumors....but what in saying is that they fall into a category of unviable living tissue just like organs too are also vastly different from tumors and yet also expendable (you can remove your breathing living kidney and have it die and yet it's not "murder"). like tumors fetuses are alive and have a certain amount of autonomy in that they function and grow without your input but they're simply physiological extensions of you that aren't physiologically viable without being attached to you. Again IM NOT SAYING FETUSES AND TUMORS ARE THE SAME just categorically. We have a right to abort what is UNVIABLE within our bodies. After 20 week it's different. Abortion should only be allowed if it's an emergency after 20 weeks otherwise that fetal life has now entered a realm where it's comparable to your baby and worthy of rights.
