To those who say pregnancy is parasitic...
My son cured my epilepsy. The doctors couldnt. They had no clue why it started, what kind I had, or if they would ever get better. When i got pregnant, they stopped. The neurologists and obgyns both said to me its very common when your pregnant for the baby to fix certain disorders to protect themselves within the womb. I am now almost 3 years seizure free. I had them for years and nothing helped, nothing but my son. My son saved me. I was getting brain damage from them. They were ruining my life, and he changed it all. They are not parasites, they are miracles.

@bulletanarchy6447 I mean lolz I can't force you to believe reality, but I swear to you it is 100% true and I'd be happy to share my story with you in more detail. I was a life-long very left liberal and hardcore pro-choice person. But, around 2 years ago when the lie of transgenderism blew up, it completely shook my faith in the left. So I decided, well if they will lie to me about this, could I have been lied to about other issues? And there was a video at the time that was going viral of one of Kristans talks at a college and it was on my RUclips suggestions, and I am also a college professor-- so all of it just inspired me to click. I will say, I immediately expected to hate her and to hear some crazy Christian lady babble some Bible stuff and some angry rhetoric about evil baby murderers, etc.....and within the first minutes I was experiencing profound cognitive dissonance because she was saying things I hadn't thought of and using logic and science in ways I hadn't considered. Additionally, she refuted and debunked everything I had been lied to about from the pro-abortion activists. And by the end I was in tears, because it finally hit me what abortion truly is and what we have allowed to happen for so long is a crime against humanity on a mass scale and that is really hard to deal with now. So, anyways, as I said- these women changed my life and I owe them a huge debt of gratitude and more!

How can there be an actual person when that brain does not even exist? Isn't what makes us different that other organisms our features? Why do we throw our hair in the trash along with our DNA? Also is rape "supposed" to happen? I know you don't mean that, but the problem with that statement is it justifies rape. If it were a true statement, it should universally apply, but I don't see that it does. Nobody is suggesting that the unborn should be gestated outside a womb. I think the real question is when does a developing human organism attain rights of personhood, and if we use police power to force a woman to continue a pregnancy against her will, what burden of proof must we meet? I would say that is also our responsibility.

I am pro-life, but there are two types of "abortion" the one where the woman goes to a clinic and chooses to kill the baby (which is wrong), the second one would be more technical, this would mean (this is in the circumstance the woman is carrying the baby and wants to give birth to it) either the baby is in a position or growing where it shouldn't like in a certain part of the uterus or outside of it, in this case the baby would not survive or continue growing and the mom could die, or (this is sometimes during birth), there is the choice between mother or the baby and if the baby has a very slim chance to live or both mom and baby will die, in this case i think it varies i dont know the ethics/protocal but the mom will most likely be saved if the baby cannot survive. A miscarraige is totally different because the baby just does not make it to term and does not survive it is usually not the choice of the mother and accidental.

A parasite makes direct contact with the host's living tissues. A fetus lives in the placenta, fed by the umbilical cord, both of which are fetal tissues. When a parasite invades a host, the host tissue will usually respond by encapsulating the parasite in order to cut it off from other surrounding tissue. In the case of a fetus, the mother’s tissue will create a lining tissue that connects, rather than cuts off contact with other tissues (placenta lining). Parasites usually elicit a surge of antibodies as an immunological response. With the fetus, however, a mother’s trophoblast (the shell of cells surrounding the embryo) will naturally block these antibodies so as not to reject the fetus. This reaction is only found in the embryo-mother relationship. A parasite will generally weaken the cellular reproductive capacity of the host, for a fetus the effect is the opposite. Parasites generally stay with the host for life, a fetus leaves upon birth. You have been educated, something your parents didn't do which explains why you think that you were once a parasite in your mother's womb lol.

I taught anatomy and physiology to nursing students in the early 2000's. One girl was very pregnant. As I was explaining the female anatomy, this woman child looked so confused and puzzled. When she finally expressed her shock to find out her urine comes out of a different hole than her baby will, I was just as shocked. I felt badly for her and her unborn child; clearly no one educated her.

I'm a mother of 6. My 2nd pregnancy was very unique. I had a horrible miscarriage I was told that my uterus was empty. When I got home from the hospital i pass my dead baby. It was horrific. My baby was so tiny I was at the end of my first trimester possibly beginning of 2nd trimester. I felt so depressed I hated myself I felt like I did something wrong. After that experience i could never understand how any woman can choose to abort there baby and be okay. Weeks went by and my body was still acting pregnant so much i had a baby bump .I thought there was something wrong I thought i was crazy because i was told my uterus was empty. Just 1month and half later i was feeling movement .I nervously went to the doctor, the doctor told me he believed I ovulated again during the early part of my pregnancy with the baby that died.My doctor was unclear of how they missed this baby in my uterus but he was happy for me and my husband. I gave birth to healthy baby boy .That experience made me stronger in my faith in God It made me Pro life .I can never get the image of my tiny dead baby out of my head and this happened 10 years ago. I wish everyone understood a person is a person even in the womb. Just a random thought when I was kid we read Horton hears a who ? It talked about a life is life no matter the size . It's something I wish people understood today.😊

@jonatand2045 My experience is not freedom it's about life .I share my experience about my 2nd pregnancy about my son in hopes of helping someone. Abortion takes a baby life . The location of a human doesn't make someone's life less valuable. Or the development of the person. Nor the ability of the person. See the son I had ten years ago. The one i talked about has global delay and Autism over all a healthy happy boy. I know another Pro-Choice argument is if they are disabled it's financial drain, so it's okay to abort that unborn baby. I love my son. I see him as a gift from God. I value and love him even though he disabled. My experience with him was life changing. I know it can be hard to change anyone's mind about anything, especially if the person feels passionate about the topic. I believe God can change the heart . I truly believe Abortion option is based on a person heart condition. Thank you for sharing your opinion. God bless

It really boils down to ‘Do you value human life or not.’ If you can’t value people at the most vulnerable, important stage of there life (the same life WE ALL went through) How can you value people generally? Then they go further and say well a puppy, or sea turtle, or a bug has more value then people. It’s horrific what the new generation is being raised into

Yes. The real problem with the pro abortion perspective is not science and logic...this proves whats in the womb is human life. Whether you want to call it a baby or fetus..
The problem with the clash on the two sides is that the pro life side puts value on human life and the other does not, or doesnt give it as much value as the mother.
