I've already graduated college and now I'm working in government agency that helps abandoned/abused children by their own parents.

Same here. I was conceived by rape. I have been raped several times! I would have never aborted the child, not sure if I would have given it up for adoption or if I would have raised it but never thought about abortion. What would it have solved??? Nothing! And then Even though I was pregnant with my daughter as a grown woman living on my own, no one was happy for me! They told me to get an abortion! I was like WHAT!?? It even kinda hurt my feelings! But, Now she is 11 and is the favorite in my family! Seriously, my mom buys her everything, xmas and birthdays I don’t have to do anything! The room is full of gifts! I mean.. RIDICULOUS! Where were her children?! I heard her speak of them but I didn’t know they were there in the audience too. How old are they anyways? Kinda mature subject but I guess they have heard it all before, spoken so eloquently by their mom. What was probably a brand new experience they should have never had to listen to however was these college children making absolute fools of themselves, yelling profanity, unable to control themselves and especially directed straight to their mother. Can’t imagine what they must have been feeling. Scared?
But to end on a positive, what a role model they got to witness in action! Their superhero mom was a class act, her passion clearly shows, and obviously her intelligence can’t be forgotten! But when all the facts on your side it just becomes a matter of common sense. Love this entire lecture!!

I agree. The administrator only stepped in when the kids started yelling at each other. She did NOTHING when they were yelling and cussing at Kristan and attempting to demolish her free speech rights. The school should protect speakers rights to speak. If those girls want to get together and reserve the space for their own speech and demonstration, fine. They can do that. But to constantly scream expletives at the speaker should not be allowed. They should have been escorted out of the room.

While this particular speech wasn't canceled, it very nearly could have been. Because the students were being so disruptive and riled up. If the administrator hadn't stepped in to calm them down, it might have continued to escalate.. shutting down Kristan's rights to speak as the college had agreed to.@@bulletanarchy6447

In 2019 I became pregnant with my first child, I was still attending university, when I was 7 months pregnant the university told me that they did not have parking spaces for me and I had to walk a long distance from the public parking lot to the university. Parking at that university was limited for professors since it was located in the down town area with little access. A teacher failed me in a class because I didn't attend for 3 days since I was hospitalized due to complications in my pregnancy at 8 months. I had to repeat this class and pay for it with my own money. In 2020 I finished my bacherlors degree, in 2021 I started my master's degree and a month later I became pregnant with my second child. With difficulties I continued, with economic problems I continued and I did not give up. In 2023 I finished my master's degree satisfactorily with an average of 3.50 and now in 2024 I will begin my Ph. D.
My interview essay was titled "University studies in women who play the role of mother in the 21st century"
It should be noted that my children are from the same father, we are married and we have been together for 6 years. There is no excuse for not doing things right. 💯
Thank you for sharing your experience. It must have been a very tough experience for you, but I am glad you drew joy from it. I had my first child (I am the husband, surely a different experience for my wife, but it was a tough time because we just moved to a new country when I started the Masters) during my Masters and managed to completed my thesis. I started the PhD right after the Masters. Children bring so much joy!
God bless you for sticking with being a pregnant college student despite discrimination and hardship. Sacrificing to work hard and preserverance is something not enough people are willing or able to do.
Actually, what you experienced in lack of accommodation for your condition violated Title IX completely and you could have sued both the university and the professor who failed you, and the federal government could have fined the university as well. Colleges and universities, as well as high schools and middle schools that get any federal money at all must accommodate pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, mothers of toddlers, and fathers of infants and toddlers as much as they accommodate students with temporary conditions and chronic disabilities. That includes reserved close parking, access to day care, private breastfeeding and pumping areas, excused absences for their own and their child's healthcare appointments, make up time for missed assignments, tests, etc. for hospitalization, delivery, postpartum care, class schedule flexibility to transport kids to sitters/day care or pick them up, freedom from harassment by administrators, faculty, or other students, transportation if it is offered to other students, and cannot be forced into inferior "alternative ed" classes when they want to continue in the mainstream classes, and much more.
It is the law of the land, and most young women do not know their rights when it comes to continuing their education while pregnant, nursing, and caring for children. Too many decide to abort because they believe they will have to drop out of school if they have their baby.
BTW, there is federal and in many states also state government financial aid, medical, housing and nutrition support, and more for student mothers and their babies, another too well kept secret the abortion lobby doesn't want potential mothers and fathers to know about.

I had an abortion when I was 16 and it’s still the greatest regret I have of my life. I’m now 35 and I have a son I love more than anything, but that decision I made selfishly out of fear and shortsighted thinking is someone that still feel a large amount of shame and guilt about. It wasn’t until I was older and realized the gravity of my choice… and it’s hard even after all these years to forgive myself. I wish I would have had someone like this to tell me these things when I was younger. But I was a teenager during a time when pro-choice was not only the norm, but celebrated. And I will tell people this… a D&E procedure is torture. It is absolutely horrific.
These women are so brainwashed and present themselves like animals. If you can’t express your opinion without insulting someone or screaming over someone, you’re not winning.

The scary thing is there are more people encouraging abortions right now than opposing them, so the likelihood that young women are being cheered on through the abortion process is significantly higher than people trying to help them through the process and keep them well informed about their decisions.

My wife wanted one of those back street clothes hanger abortions. I refused to take her but at 7 months she decided to break her own water with a darning needle . This child was born 4lbs but made it. She left, but we stayed together , he now is a paramedic ,volunteer fireman , once a youth paster and has benifited mankind more than anyone in my family. He is my hero. God bless this wonderful speaker woman, mother , she is a sign that God works are among us.

I have to be fair, I think the women yelling at her have had many negative experiences to that point so while they're objectively horrifying and rude, I can see how this can happen in a forum like this. To a rape victim, a prolifer can come off as cold and unfeeling. Now the young lady chose to bring up her rape, so she kind of started the fight, but I think this issue is really, really raw for a lot of women precisely because they fear losing the right to an abortion if they are raped. The prolife movement has the better scientific arguments but the truth is abortion as an issue will be won or lost on emotional grounds. Which makes sense since it does involve how women feel about their pregnancies, for better or worse.
They never had to discuss their views.
Parenting isn't an 18 year commitment. It's a lifelong job that pays very well

Your chromosomes determine your gender/sex. It is not something that is chosen or that can be changed. No matter what body parts are cut off or added, hormones taken, etc. that does not change your chromosomes. For the human species there is only male and female. That is assigned at fertilization. At 6 weeks of gestation the developing embryo will begin expressing traits of their sex/gender. This is a biological fact of life for the human species.

Speaking as a woman who is now 36, I became pregnant with my son at 17. I graduated high school ON TIME and went STRAIGHT to COLLEGE and now have my degree in medicine. Did I mention I WAS ALSO A SINGLE MOTHER.

At times I have heard of some women's experiences that have gone thru similar circumstances and they use the experience to become the best version of themselves they could have possibly imagined because they do not only think about themselves anymore but about the precious life that's in their hands now. When I was 19 I had an abortion....once the procedure was completed I looked over at the countertop beside the bed I saw my baby laying on the tray of tissue and blood,I asked to see the child they actually carried the tray over to my bedside I was overcome by emotions grief and guilt I picked my baby up in the palm of my hand and hurried out the door getting dressed as I went while the staff protested telling me they were calling the cops and charging me for tampering with human remains....
I didn't care I wasn't leaving my baby there to be thrown out like trash....

I used to be STRONGLY pro choice. Now as a grown woman, with family values, love for children, respect for myself and others, I’ve learned how harmful abortion is to womanhood. I’ve also learned that the solution to women making reckless decisions is not to punish the unborn child. It is to educate women how to responsibly take care of the bodies and to have that relationship and respect for their uterus. I’ve also read into historic accounts of women being pregnant, their experiences, etc, and I have so much respect for the women of the past who dealt with pregnancy and gave birth to their children and loved them unconditionally. I think women have lost that foundational relationship with who they are. We are WOMEN, we need to respect ourselves and our unborn children who are GIFTS from the heavens. I think abortion is harmful to a woman relationship with herself. However- I’m not completely against abortion if a woman has been counseled and a team of people have helped her recognize the consequences etc. if the medical team has determined it unsafe for the mother, then of course I’m going to tell the mother to choose herself, preserve her body’s health, so that she may bare children when she’s ready. I think the cultural attitude around abortion has to change. It’s the last resort, and should not be a lighthearted matter liek it is for a lot of young women now.

I was a heroin baby. I was born addicted to heroin. I wish there was more research on the long term effects of a human developing addicted to drugs. My mom adopted 4 children including myself. We are all drug babies and we all have different mental issues. My sister is bipolar my brother has learning disabilities and I'm autistic.
My life is not less valuable. I'm in college getting my degree in Forensic science, I'm helping to raise my niece and I plan on getting my phD in Chemistry.

Drs & some family members begged my mom to have an abortion, as the dr told her she’d likely die as well. She had 3 other healthy children. She put her faith in God, and we are both still here.
Yes life has been really hard, scary, and exhausting at times, but I’m happy to be here. I grew up with a loving family, made a couple close friends, got to see my sister get married, have kids. I still got bad days but when I think about all the amazing things I got to experience & people I got to love. I’d go through all the Hell again if I got the option to decide if I was born or aborted… If that made sense.

@hexl702too5 Of course they have, and of course they are. The words and actions of some doesn't mean everyone with those same opinions/views is the same way. I've seen numerous pro-choicers that get their opinions across in a respectful way while standing firmly beside their views, the same with some pro-lifers. I've had various conversations with people that don't agree with how I see certain things but I personally enjoy hearing or reading their views when they're respectful. Plus I have a lot of respect and admiration for anyone that are firm on their opinions as long as they also remain respectful. There have been times I've listened to someone that sees things differently than me or read what they've had to say with genuine interest because I'm not right all the time, and they've said something in a way at times where it's caused me to think "Hmm, I never thought of it like that." and I end up learning something from someone I overall may not agree with, or I start to understand more why they have those opinions. So I absolutely feel there are a lot of Pro-Choicers out there that are passionate, strong, and vocal about how they see things, but they also show respect while expressing themselves and standing up for what they believe in. That has been shown in these videos as well which is why I have mentioned in the past that not everyone who has asked questions or made statements about how they see things were disrespectful, quite a number of them asked great questions and explained how they see things in a strong but kind and open way. Plus like I mentioned, all Pro-lifers aren't exactly angels themselves. Some have been just as disrespectful and closed-minded as well, which is something I absolutely don't support or condone which is why it bothers me when some act like they're on some kind of overall moral high ground that can do no wrong and say no wrong. Neither side can claim to be that way because neither side is perfect, and I believe neither side can do no wrong and say no wrong. So I love the passion that some people have regardless of which side they're on and I love seeing anyone and everyone express themselves, but there is a line and everyone should make sure they don't cross it.

My mother was date raped in the 1950's. She was Catholic and sent to a home for wayward girls. She had a baby boy. When she asked the nuns if she could see the child, they told her no because then she would want to keep it and not give it up for adoption. She did give the baby up for adoption, and not once in her 78 yrs did she ever regret her decision. Even if she had been given the option to abort the child, she never would have done that. ALL LIFE IS PRECIOUS.. and yes, ALL LIFE MATTERS. It is not our God-given right to sit in judgment and make decisions on who should live and who should not.

As someone who has had an abortion almost 4 years ago. . I wanna thank you for this. I live with regret everyday of my life and cry randomly still. I'll never forget the doctor looked at me before I walked out and said " don't ever come here again" I said okay I won't. I have no idea if I did or said anything while I was asleep but I think I might have. I still wonder to this day why he said this to me. I pray God forgives me all the time. Nobody ever talks about the regret I'm sure alot of women experience. It's a lifelong pain

I'm a Muslim too and I totally agree. I have a question tho, do all pro-life supporters agree that women should not abort children under any circumstance? I ask this because I agree with most of what pro-life supports with the exception of a few things (like women can't abort even if the child was a result of rape and if the child's health will threaten the mother's life). I believe that the consequences that we face are a result of our actions, therefore if a man and a woman had intercourse and ended up being pregnant they are responsible for raising the child. Honestly I thank Allah for the blessing of Islam because thankfully there is logic in everything in Islam calls for. I do want to say that I hate the division of pro-life and pro-choice, I wish there was a middle ground.

I found it difficult to keep my cool watching this. Her entire "question" was just to accuse and argue. That isn't a question in good faith. When she got an answer she just kept ignoring and called it a logical fallacy. Very frustrating.

The same thing happens in Europe, but it is more subtle. There is no 1st amendment in most European countries. A person can be jailed or fined for holding a public position that the state does not like.
In Germany a person can not say, speak or talk about anything concerning the Nazi regime. In the UK it is a "thought crime" to pray in or near a location that provides abortion. In some European counties it is now illegal to say a man is a man and not a woman and vice versa.
The USA is about the only country where people are free to hold wrong, illogical or distasteful opinions and do so in the public square and not suffer the wrath of the government, usually. This has lead to the young losing all decorum and respect for those who hold opposing viewpoints.
Students are no longer taught HOW to think or WHAT to think.

I was in an embarrassing debate back when I sided with abortion. The logic and clarity I was shown was astonishing. I remember I couldn't answer reasonable questions and behaved like these girls. I'm glad I matured and changed.

i thought i was pro choice- until i got pregnant. just knowing what happens in an abortion has me in tears. its a literal miracle to be able to create life. its so powerful. an amazing experience. every day im amazed by my body. im due in june and im so excited to meet my little one.

I was almost aborted--my mom's doctor gave her an X-ray, not knowing she was pregnant with me. When they found out, they pressured her to abort me, warning that I would be born defective and deformed from the X-ray's radiation. She took her chances, and I'm here 30 years later, perfectly healthy and ever grateful to God for saving me.
Due to severe siatica pain, my doc sent me for an X-ray.. we didn’t know yet that I was pregnant… so later I was told to abort my baby as the baby would be deformed… each time I cried with worry of how my baby would be, my husband would say - it’s our baby, we will take care of it no matter what…we prayed and went ahead with the pregnancy… then we got to know I’m having twins… now at 21 by son and daughter stand as a blessing god gave us for believing him and wanting to keep our baby no matter what..

My biological mom was told all kinds of things according to my adoption records. I'm not sure when they told her, but according to my medical records they warned that I might be mentally retarded (yes that is the term they used back then.) By the grace of God she gave me up for adoption and I am grateful for my family every single day. Because of her one choice I now have a daughter who will create her own family one day. An entire family line saved by just one choice. For the record, no I am not "retarded", I turned out just fine.
