i am pretty sure it was my friend Tyler Smith, and he is definately shaken up by this. Our chase group watched it plow through Rolling Fork and there was nothing we could do. It was very difficult to watch.
@@24quorthonschuldiner62 look up Greensburg,Kansas... THAT is EF 5 damage. The tornado that hit rolling fork MS was accompanied with multiple vortices moving around the parent tornado...

The worst part of storm chasing is seeing a tornado like this... Knowing the people in its path and about to lose everything, homes, pets, belongings, their lives even, and there is literally nothing you can do about it is one of the most empty feelings i've ever experienced.
Whenever I watch the Weather Channel and see them showing the map for tornado warnings, I immediately come to YT to check the Live chaser feeds. Being from NY, last night was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Thank you for what you do; heartfelt prayers for all those families who lost loved-ones, and for all affected by this devastation 🙏🏻
Tears rolling down my face as I watch this devastating video. Praying for Gods mercy for those affected and my deepest condolences for those that did not make it out safely.
Its so incredible to see how wind can toss 18 wheelers around like they were little match box toys.. and rip them apart. Leaves me in awe. I always wanted to see a tornado in person, but not like this in its path.
Yeah. A tornado can pick an 18 wheeler up and throw it through the air like a missile. There's footage of this somewhere here on RUclips. In one video I saw, a tornado picked an 18 wheeler up and had it hundreds of feet in the air swirling around!
@@Wowzersdude-k5c so are semis easier to go air borne because the trailer is shaped like a box and not aerodynamic, also more square feet of surface for wind to blow against? Or the trailer being empty make it easier to pick up? Ill have to find that video your talking about.
@@cmecu_seemeseeyou9330 Yeah I think the shape of the trailer actually helps the tornado pick it up easier. Still, the sheer weight of the semi is nothing to stop the tornado.
God be with these people. My paternal grandmother, my uncle and aunt lived there, their whole lives in Rolling Fork, MS. They have been gone a while now. But, I visited there not too long ago, to view their burial site in the cemetery. So, sad to see this devastation.
Utterly unreal - it looks like a fast-moving river swept through the area, but it was... air. I cannot imagine how harrowing this must have been for anyone present - I hope everyone's getting whatever help and support they need and deserve.
Whenever the tornado sirens go off near me the storm is already in the area. These storms at night are hard to spot unless sirens are going off but they seem to not always go off until it’s on top of the town. Look up and be safe. Don’t rely on the weather alerts.
My heart goes out to all affected by this destructive storm. May God bring strength to these people and some comfort to those who have lost loved ones and/or been injured. ❤🙏
Thank you for not shouting, screaming, or hyping this. The visuals alone speak volumes.
I won't get in a numbers debate. The place is bloody scrapped. It's horrific, and I feel for every person and animal there.😢
Thank you for reporting this. My heart goes out to the storm victims.

Worse if they did not have faith in God and the sacrifice of Jesus and died. Go from that to eternal torment.
