    Good luck to you Mr. Miles, only the best for you for the rest of your days I pray. My heart goes out to you. Makes me want to come to Mississippi and be your neighbor. Your a good man, you climbed out of the rubble that once was your home, and began straight away checking on neighbors. Your a good man sir.

      They will definitely receive support. My church and the churches in our area are already on it. One thing about Mississippi is that these people will probably receive more aid from the citizens than they will from the government. When the tornadoes hit in north Mississippi in 2011, we went up and built a lady a nicer house than she had before. Her house was wiped off the foundation. There wasn’t even a foundation left, it was a dirt hole about 3ft deep.

    THIS COUNTRY NEEDS MORE RADAR COVERAGE. there is no excuse to not build more radar sites. when the parent supercell was producing the Amory tornado, it looked absolutely menacing on reflectivity and especially velocity. but when it was producing the likely much stronger rolling fork tornado, it looked pretty puny. and it angers me more that there are so many radar holes in the eastern 2 thirds of the united states, especially in the areas that often see lots of tornadoes like the plains, Midwest, and the southeast gulf and Atlantic coasts. Pretty much everywhere in the eastern 2 thirds of the US gets a lot of BAD tornadoes except for the northeast. so many lives could be saved and the tornado warning process would be made much easier and more accurate if more radar sites could just be built.

      Exactly. Radar coverage in this country is absurd, and the NWS does not get enough funding.

      Amen to that. I am in one of those dead zones that they just can't tell. Fortunately for me, a new radar is going in close to here in Durant Oklahoma this year. Hopefully that will help the area here around the borders of Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

    My wife just asked me: "Why would people live there?" I just laughed and said: "People have to live somewhere. If people didn't live in dangerous areas, half of the nation would be empty. Hurricane -ridden Florida and the Gulf Coast, Tornado Alley, Earthquakes and storms on the West Coast, the flooding of the Mississippi River areas. There are few places that do not have their own sources of life-threatening events." Life is always at risk.

    Thank you for documenting the devastation caused by this storm. After living in Moore, OK for over 15 years (and having the 2012 tornado come within a mile of my house) my heart goes out to any and all communities hit by these disasters. I was watching Ryan Hall's live stream last night and was filled with dread for the residents of these towns. While what happened is tragic, we should all be grateful because it could have been so much worse.

      @@GloBear801 Cool. Its weird, in Canada, almost everyone speaks the same english, no matter what color or creed, but in the U.S.A.. It seems that African Americans speak a language of their own. I suppose that s a way of maintaining their culture.

    • @GloBear801
      @GloBear801 Год назад

      @@ziggyschumann5284 the English is spoken in the US usually varies by region, even state to state. Not all African Americans speak the same way. This man is probably a native of Mississippi and has a deep southern drawl with a tinge of Louisianan accent (Rolling Forks is close to it). The linguistics of this country is pretty interesting to learn about if you’re curious enough. We can usually tell what coast someone is from by the way they speak
