Oats is my absolute favourite streamer and SM is one of my absolute favourite games, even if I understand it can feel a little boxed in to keep playing, but I will never get tired. To run hacks is absolute genius and the competitive marathons with multiple games lately is surely interesting. Mario without cape and ghosts and ghouls are other favourite runs on the Super Nintendo. Oats retiring from SM would to me be like Maradona quitting football when in his prime though. Sad but you can't really ask for more. Thanks for yet another hype run, always enjoy watching!

Awesome! Great job, senpai! Do everything exactly the same but don't get hit by the Sciser in the meridia climb and don't miss the ledge in the final escape and you'll get sub 1:14 for sure.
now only needs to figure out how to incorporate the 4 tap stutter short charge into the run.

no. Its a glitch.
@@KeMiZe44 i meant to ask if it is required for the glitch to work, since some weird things can make the game freeze.
Why is this not uploaded to Speedrun (which still has your 1:14:38 time)? I guess it doesn't change your position in the Leaderboard, but this is still a better run innit?
maybe a country music album is a little too ambitious maybe oats should settle for one country song as a sub goal lol

I don't think Zoast really runs 100%, and it's a 100% race. And it's not a matter of not invited, as much as didn't submit any runs.

@@Oatsngoats Does it refer to older record of any%, in which 43 was a great time?
GT 43 is a reference to the in game timer, which stops counting during item fanfares and door transitions. 1:13 and 1:14 real time basically equates to 0:43 in game time.

Yes. I play on an RGB modded SNES Jr. On a PVM (fancy crt) with a super Famicom controller
