thank you Raelan. i felt like shit when i woke up this morning, and watching this video got me back on the horse. in typical fashion, you packed in lots of practical wisdom that i can already start applying TODAY. you have a gift for teaching! most inspirational of all, however, was the bloopers at the end - for the first time, i saw firsthand how A) persistent you are B) how you are applying these principles you're teaching - you didn't beat yourself up when you messed up - you laughed it off, and just tried and tried again. you. are. amazing.
Your videos are incredibly well informed/researched and you have a warm and engaging personality. It's amazing how you have healed yourself and you are supporting so many others on their healing journey including me so thank you!!!
Aw thanks, Dolly! You just brought a huge smile to my face 😀 Thanks for taking the time to send this kindness and support out into the world! Wishing you all the best with your own health journey : )
Thank you Raelan! I know how very important having a positive mindset is and also how challenging it can be while battling ME/CFS. Thanks so very much for your ideas, tips and ENCOURAGEMENT!!!
Thank you so much for your videos, I really value your advice 😊 Covid has had a huge impact on my recovery and I feel hugely isolated but I’m trying to push through. Thank you and please keep doing what you do 😊
Hey Lilypops, I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling. Wow, what a year - it's completely understandable and I suspect many of us are having some challenging times. The isolation would wear on anyone, never mind those facing illness. Thanks for the feedback and kindness and support, I really appreciate it! Sending some virtual hugs to you 💞
Great info and reminder! Thanks Raelan. Just watched the retake part which is SO funny because I actually marveled at how smooth your talk was with no umm’s or uhh’s. Haha!! Things are not always as they seem. Thanks for sharing the retakes!
Thank you, Raelan. Your videos are always so helpful. You mention that there were two years where you really dropped in and went HAM on the illness/healing practices. Can you elaborate on what you did during those 2 years? Or perhaps you can point to a previous video where you've detailed this info? Thanks as always! 🙏❤️
Thanks for the feedback and support, Ryan, I very much appreciate it 😀 And I'll share a link here to a video where I share what I did during those two years. The video is long but you can skip to the last half because this is where I share the things that helped me the most (the beginning of the video is just me sharing my overall journey with ME/CFS) ruclips.net/video/2Zvc_YUvWPY/видео.html
Hi Raelan I love your videos, thank you so much! I have one question though. What kinds of things did you have on your calendar to look forward to? I don't make any plans anymore because I never know if I'll feel well enough to do them. So that made me curious. Thnks!
Hey Tiffany! So glad to hear you are liking the videos. The things I put on my calendar weren't massive things, it might be a dinner out or a weekend getaway, or some small sight seeing. Sometimes it was a trip to the art store! I was living in Southeast Asia at this time and was already partially recovered, so I was fortunate in that I had more energy to do things and had lots of new stuff around to explore. Plus my boyfriend (now husband) was my partner in all these activities and he knew that things might get rescheduled or shortened, depending on how I felt 😊

This is true, true, true. I could give you personal examples but no need. That it is true is enough. Thanks again, Raelan.
Hey Anne! It's such an easy thing to not take seriously and out effort into, isn't it?! Glad this resonates with you too 💛

You're such a yogi! All this studying and training the mind... Love this video!
I see you've got your happy t-shirt on!
I definitely think changing from being in a state of lack to simply a state of being in joy and caring is such a great point.
@Chimere Smith yes! I'm totally with you 💜
