This man and his wife are legit Scooby-Doo villains at this point. The fact that he racked up sooo many blights, crimes and offenses and only received temporary punishments is insane. Her tearless throaty cry voice was like nails on a chalkboard.
I dont think death is a temporary punishment. Nor do I necessarily see how hating the wife and children for his misdeeds is remotely reasonable, or humane. Look after yourself, you sound a little unhinged.
I live an hour away from where this happened. I’ll never forget this day. The reporter who broke the story that GI Joe’s gun shot wound was self-inflicted actually got death threats. Once it was proven to be true, you never saw anyone go from hero to villain SO fast in your entire life. His wife doesn’t have any shame, either. 😡
Fr I live about 30mins away and the story was pretty unbelievable from the start and you know the trumpers have so much cognitive dissonance they can't understand facts
I actually went to the same high school that he did a year after he graduated I live about 15 minutes from where this happened and people wanted his family under the jail after this happened. They wanted them to pay to some degree for what he did. And they all knew what was going on so his wife definitely should have paid some kind of price.
This is why "Don't speak ill of the dead" always bothers me. Like, no, if you did some horrid shit Imma talk about it regardless of if you're alive still or not. Now, I'm not going to someone's funeral and getting up in front of everyone mourning and say things that might hurt them, even if they're true. A human life is almost always worth at least that much dignity (though that's NOT a universal rule in my book) but burying the bad actions with someone doesn't serve anyone well. Especially victims.
this is so weird cause i came down to comment that exact same first sentence im a little mind blown that we had the same exact thought in the same exact words lol
I feel so bad for the women who were assualted. Il bet they watched the whole town mourn thier attacker and felt helpless. I'm glad it came out in the end
i am from antioch, illinois, and went to high school with his son. i will never forget how the entire town and neighboring COUNTIES all came together to remember him. i sat outside my neighborhood in lawn chairs with my family and the rest of my neighbors, watching his service parade go by. i went to his wake held at my high school (ACHS, mentioned in this video), paid my respects to his son with whom i had classes with, and grieved the loss of who we thought was such a great man with the rest of my town. finding out the truth afterwards was a stab to everyone in his community. finding out who he truly was repulsed me and everyone here in antioch. we’re a very small town, everyone kinda knows everyone, and word gets around fast. his true character is on full display, and it should be. he’s disgusting.
Thanks for posting. That loser betrayed the public's trust and support. What strikes me is how, in a small town, they kept the public from knowing how dirty he was.
It’s infuriating to watch his wife turn her statement into a victim’s testimony. She should be apologizing to all the people she let down. I don’t believe a word she said.
Yeah, that’s what these types of people always do. Instead of taking responsibility for their actions they try to play the victim card, it makes me respect them even less.
She knew he was grabbing women inappropriately She knew he victimized people and stole and protected him because she's no woman she's a demon, and neither had a soul their entire lives
I just can't listen to her bawling and talking about how terrible her life is. She knew what he was doing and never defended herself as to have asked him to stop or something. Plus dude was sexually harassing and oppressing and abusing many different women. What about that?
The fact that his family tried to cover up his actions and then use his death to push a political agenda is unthinkably horrendous. (EDIT: WOW! Did not expect this comment to blow up. Thanks for the likes and sharing of your opinions)
…but not surprising. Notice how quick the Texas Republican “legislators” (and their friends in the right-wing media) were quick to turn the Uvalde massacre and coverup into a movement to ban drag queens from interacting with children?!? Like WTF?
It makes me feel sorry for him. If the story is an accurate representation , imagine being that much of a fuck up. His life must’ve been so hard, struggling with half a brain.
“Many people disagree with how my husband handled finances”. Ma’am that’s not poor money management that’s embezzlement. Also why would any employer hire someone convicted of aiding their husband in stealing public funds?
the wife putting on that bullshit show knowing her husband sexually assaulted multiple women he held authority over???? and then made sure to blame her husband's death on the black lives matter movement? people who are trying to protect themselves from corrupt cops???? this is PAINFULLY embarrassing
Exactly! As a white man, it's quite obvious that despite the droning lies, no one plays the 'race-card' like white people. Our whole society is built on it. And now , whites in power, instead of serving the constituents who pay their salaries, are literally passing laws to try and conceal the inhumane and evil acts of the white power structure.
I just wanted to make a little correction, in the video you stated that a baggie of coke was found in his desk and that it was for personal use, however it's been found that he was keeping that bag of coke in order to be able to plant those drugs on the new administrator that he was having problems with! That POS was going to try and ruin that woman's whole career and try to plant freaking drugs on her!!
@@marshmellok plus “personal” use may be used intentionally to allow for a number of usages. They didn’t get to prove it in court so maybe that label makes legal sense? Because if it’s not for professional use whatever use would it be for.
Exactly she complains about people wrecking his grave, which sucks for the family but you have remember what he was accused of. Fraud, over use of power, sexual assault and planned to have a woman killed.
Turned out he was nothing but a common thief, nothing more. If you think the wife had no knowledge of his crimes you’re being naive or gullible. He was just another cop who thought he was above the law. If you think the issues with policing these days is the result of a few bad apples, you haven’t been paying attention. And when good cops tried to call him out on his behavior, they were ignored. Just like most of the problems with police, it started at the top.
He got held up as a martyr that was murdered by people blinded by hatred for the police, only for it to be discovered that he's the reason people want more police accountability in the first place. A media storm tried to show how these calls were killing good cops, only for this case to be a perfect example of why good cops get drummed out of the force. It's genuinely ironic! Honestly at this point I'd take the conversation going back to 'a few bad apples' instead of 'the police can do whatever they want, fuck you'
Watching his wife pathetically cry on the stand about how hard her life is now that she's facing the consequences of her actions is admittedly very funny. "They canceled my credit card" oh no well you took a plea deal for a crime related to finances??? like 😭 What do you think would happen? So many people like this just think they'll never get caught. Do they think they're criminal masterminds??
It reminds me of an interview video I once saw of the wife of disgraced Enron CEO Ken Lay: she cried and sniveled and whined about how now she only has ONE house, and only ONE pair of diamond earrings, and she now has to fly coach on commercial airlines instead of her private jet, etc. There's a level of tone-deafness in people like this that just boggles the mind...just as you said- WTH did they expect when their spouse (who they continue to support) stole, hurt and conned others and got caught?? A medal? Nope. Their reward is that they don't end up in prison as accomplices.
@@maneckineckbeard1749 Exactly! People seriously can be so self-centered and apathetic. I can't think of an insult strong enough for how much it bothers me haha
I find the footage of criminals lying the most unwatchable parts of these videos. The greater percentage of a video that is raw interrogation or this kind of footage, the less I like the video. It's such a stark contrast to the concise, to the point, descriptions by the host. I know other people like watching that, but I would vastly prefer a few well-chosen clips, perhaps with a link to the full footage for those who want it. I find the host interesting, with a trustworthy point of view. Really prefer that to long minutes of liars lying.
One of the most frustrating aspects of this case to me was how members of the community absolutely bombarded anyone else from the community who had a negative opinion of Joe and/or questioned literally any of his behavior. The witch hunt that played out on Facebook and other social media was a huge disgrace because people were either unable or unwilling to admit they’d been duped by a criminal wearing a badge. This is not a rare or unique situation either, there are stories like this in your town or city. I’m not going to lump everyone in together because a lot of folks understand life and people are nuanced, but I have serious problems with boot lickers who believe either certain or all law enforcement officials can do no wrong.
@@craigasauruswrecks4915 it’s a shame too because for every jackass like this dude there are plenty of decent, honest officers out there. Not sure why we can’t collectively salute the good ones and call out/handle the bad ones, we’d all be better off for it…

I"m from this town. This story shook us up. I was actually pulled over for speeding at 6am by Gliniewicz, on my way to work at the hospital. He let me go stating " maybe someday you'll be saving me " At the time it tore me up by his passing, My community rallied together for him only to be duped pretty damn badly.
You guys never heard a bad word about this guy? I find it hard to believe that someone so incredibly corrupt got away with it so long. I do remember how ridiculously the townspeople of Fox Lake reacted if you dared say a bad word about this POS.
This guy looked like he was playing Rambo. If anyone stood up to his false bravado, he would have shattered. Which he eventually did, but not before staging a hero’s death. There was nothing real about him. I actually do feel for his kids, I think he conned them too.
It's really wild when you come across a local story 😅 his funeral procession was on my birthday, and I spent my day at the end of my block watching all the cars drive by for hours.... just to learn he was a total scumbag. It was so unreal... all of it
It amazes me when criminals cry about the impact of the investigation on their children, when it's their actions that caused the investigations and therefore their own actions impacting the lives of their children.
@@bigwendigo2253 I was thinking that when she was crying about that… one of them committed financial crimes of course they’d freeze everything and shut it down eventually… why would a business like a bank let a crook be a customer? Listening to that wife cry for only herself, and the whole "woe is me" bullcrap is SUPER hard to listen to. They were all okay with letting him take those secrets to the grave, but now only cry because they were caught RED HANDED!! This is hard to stomach!

My senior year I went to high school with a girl who was murdered in Scott County Kentucky. Her name was Ashley Lyons. She was Pregnant and her boyfriend shot her Because he didn't want to have a kid. It ended up changing the laws in Kentucky so if you killed somebody who is pregnant, you would be charged with 2 separate homicides. It would be awesome if you could do a video on this, she was a really sweet girl from a good home Who loved her boyfriend and was excited to be a mom soon. She didn't deserve this. Thank you I love your content
@@jamimazada7428 Sounds a bit... victim blame-y? Like yeah, you should ask, ( _if it's intentional. Even assuming she was acting in bad faith, a reasonable consequence would have been him _leaving_ , not _killing_ her.
I lived in Fox Lake when this happened, only a mile from the scene. The first clue that something was amiss was when I was woken up by helicopters flying over my house. Driving to work, there were hundreds of cops everywhere. Local, state, FBI, ATF...I think everyone turned out. People left flyers and ribbons everywhere, but even by the next day I was openly questioning the facts as it made no sense to me either. My landlord had dealings with him and said he was an "obnoxious asshole". It was well known around town that he had been found passed out drunk behind the wheel of his police cruiser more than once and it was covered up. A real piece of sh*t...good riddance.
The video said around 29:45 how he fatally wounded himself after hearing the squad approach... what is the possibility that he had planned to elicit sympathy for getting shot in duty safely from a hospital bed?
The fact that his surname was Gliniewicz is an incredible irony that probably only Poles appreciate. In Polish, Glina/Gliniarz means a cop, but it has slight derogatory connotations (though less than a pig for example, idk the americanslang for cops). And with Polish surnames being weird as they are, Gliniewicz is a deriviation of this word.
for the same reason as they were called "flatfoot" in Calvin Coolige's USA or "глиномес" in the late Russian Empire (because they used to have only beat cops who "walked their feet flat" or "walked so much they feet were made clay-lik/like the clay makers (who had to stomp on the clay all day to mix it)"so to say),
This is one of the many reasons for the abolition of Police unions, and for expanded civilian oversight into Police matters. Furthermore, I would argue that Police and Law Enforcement officers of all kinds should be held to at minimum the same standard as the public, if not a higher one. Disgusting.
That will never happen cause police unions are one of the most corrupt unions in the country. They get their own politicians elected who in turn give them annual raises and gigantic pension. Their contracts make it impossible for them to get fired or even disciplined for all types of crimes including murder. Anyone that gets in their way will be harassed with stuff like traffic tickets. There unions are what makes them this corrupt and the same people demanding the “reimagining the police” nonsense demand more unions.
Police unions are the most powerful unions in the entire country. They screw citizens and businesses that have been hurt by the corrupt actions of police so hard by pressing their influence and abusing politics. When a cop is actually held accountable, the pay comes out of the taxpayers pockets.
I grew up in Fox Lake, IL. Joe's memorial was held at my high school. This shit was crazy when it happened. The whole town went on lockdown and so many people were frightened and confused. There were helicopters in the sky, roads blocked, it was a full on manhunt. The community is absolutely a "Blue Lives Matter" kind of crowd, so the truth was a HUGE shock to everyone. It's very interesting hearing true crime channels cover it because even people from Chicago had never heard of Fox Lake before.
@@missssophisicated6742 I sure hope their police force has made some changes, I imagine the population is still making excuses for police corruption, though, considering the majority of the type of people that live in the town.
Ive heard of this case before but you gave the most clear and informative summary. The report that the dept submitted to the mayor was damning and should have got joe and the chief kicked out and prosecuted. Disgusting how his whole family felt free to steal from the youth group.
The sentiment at the beginning of the video is spot-on. The appearance of goodness and/or strength allows people to ignore bad behavior, corruption and even evil. There are a lot of bad people around you, but the shear terror of admitting the magnitude of hidden evil allows you to ignore the truth. But, you’ll eventually be a victim of it if you don’t call out evil when it happens. We are a country of fear and lies…

Wow. He lives his life in such chaos and lies and then commits suicide and bails and leaves his family to deal with everything. That’s the worst thing he could’ve done. So sad.
I know they can't really do this, but I kept secretly hoping the judge would interject and say something like "I'm sorry ma'am, but we don't allow you to make a statement so you can attempt to make the court pity you and feel guilt for holding you accountable for your actions, WHICH WERE PLENTIFUL AND EGREGIOUS."
The shocking part of all this is that other cops tried selling him out. That's how you know the rest of your gang hates you. And in Cop gang; that means you must REALLY suck.
It’s so frustrating that they have to be anonymous, it knocks the wind out of the sails and I can imagine it making the mayor question “well was it really sent by 11 officers, or was this 1 officer that just doesn’t like the subject of this letter?”
Funny update/addition to my story: I have a cop cousin, and the second I heard he was a cop; I was like "That's gunna end bad." So fast forward four years, and low and behold: found guilty of excessive force. He beat the crap outta a homeless guy, pretty pathetic move IMO. BUT, props to his department; they handed over the body cam footage and it didn't "mysteriously dissapear". It's not quite ratting out the shilytehead (my cousin) but it's better than the status quo. 🤨🤥😒
Generally, corruption at the top means the whole squad goes into bad behaviour. It's notable that there was a decent handful of people there who hated what was going on and weren't tempted to turn corrupt themselves.
🦷🦷🦷 This happened in my town, and my little brother plus a couple of his friends got held up by police officers with AR-15s because they fit the description of the "suspects." I haven't watched the whole video yet, but they recently charged the wife. She got probation. 🙄
Similar thing happened to my older brother when he was 13 here in Australia. Some cop tackled him to the ground because he fit the description of some suspects. My brother suffered from back injuries for months. I'm sorry for what happened to your brother and his friends.

This snowball could’ve been stopped before it became an avalanche so many times. He needed therapy and accountability badly. They let small things go, and they should’ve known that it only means it gets worse. They pull the smoke detector batteries out instead of extinguishing fires in the name of his reputation
Considering how some crimes go when someone's lie is exposed and their life is about to crumble around them, at least he only took his own life. He didn't go and attack the village admin or other innocent people like so many others like Grant Amato or Chandler Halderson or Anthony Todt.
Been searching for a while for someone that approaches true crime in a way that isn't disrespectful whilst still being enjoyable to watch. I've never recommended a youtube channel before your vids, both me and my mum love them!
I'm going to also recommend, in addition to this video, the American Greed episode on this. They go more in depth in the financial side of things, and they talk to his friends, coworkers and family. It's called "Badge of Dishonor." They also have a podcast on it. Very much recommend! Not to take away from dreading at all as I think it was an excellent video!
Yeah, it was pretty disgusting when she tried to make the comparison that he was just not skillful with money instead of acknowledging him being a thief no no lady your husband was a thief and so are you.
Apparently there is a ton more people involved in the case we don’t even know about. The major, Joe, his wife, and any more of their friends were the tip of the ice berg and there is a possibility that more information (and maybe even legal action) will be uncovered and revealed to the public. I have a few people in my life with very close ties to the case (one of them was a pallbearer and his funeral and was his commanding officer right up to the day he died) and from what I have heard there are possibly a ton of people involved and it’s a giant rabbit hole of corruption and coverups. Since his wife plead out idk if that means it’s over and nothing else will be released to the public but i hope they don’t sweep this under the rug and try to move on without being more transparent with anyone else who may have been involved directly or simply knew he was up to something and didn’t do anything to stop it. They don’t deserve those badges if they were involved and just because his wife took a plea deal doesn’t mean the case should be over. Our community deserves answers and accountability not matter what the investigation uncovers
When the wife is giving her crybaby statement, I couldn't help but chuckle. She did that to herself and then she's shocked that no one wants to deal with her or be connected to her?! Grow up. You made your bed, time to lay the hell down in it. I love this channel! Thank you so much for putting out these videos, I look forward to getting the notifications that another one was uploaded :)
I'm from the neighboring town which is even smaller than Fox Lake, and it shook us as a community. Us small communities band together during these times and the fact that it turned out like this is just awful, especially when that hard work could have gone into the Brian Carrick case in Johnsburg, IL (my neighboring town) THAT is a case that needs some outside eyes on it. As always, you guys did a great job covering this! Much love!
Was wondering how the smaller communities reacted to this! I summered with my great grandparents in Lake Barrington growing up, they were Sherriff and Deputy there for decades but retired and passed before this, I'm glad they didn't see their local (police) community denigrated by this guy.
I was in high school in this area at a vocational class for people who wanted to go into the legal field. The class was taught by a former cop who worked with Joe, and one of his current explorers was in the class. We had to go on lockdown when this happened and were all locked in a classroom together when my teacher and my classmate learned that their friend and mentor had been supposedly shot and killed. Obviously lots of crying and anger, the kid who was in the explorer post he was in charge of pretty much shut down for the rest of the school year and sat in an adjacent classroom alone during our class because he couldn’t deal with what happened and how Joe had betrayed all of them. Joe was a monster.
Awful, but a good life lesson. Critical thinking is important especially when observing the mentally deficient. This dude was way over the top. Small town people can be gullible and naive.

The best clue about this dude came early on. He was only active military for four years, then did the reserve gig and got on a small town police department. Standard and obvious progression for certain personality types. Maximum power for minimum effort, low standards, and little accountability.
I was in and a military liaison to a military explorers post and we never had FU money in the account. The local NG unit supplied us with vans and equipment with requests and place to meet but that was it. As a member of the military I volunteered and was a POC to request and sign for that equipment. Seems as if “extra” money was sent that way for what they were doing. I was a paramedic in Illinois when this happened, it shocked us all outside the area.
Yep. She learned absolutely nothing from this experience, and the fact that she was let off on probation means she will learn nothing from it in the future.
I'd recommend the case of Randy Kraft, one of southern California's little known but quite prolific serial killers. His case did not get nearly the coverage as so many others and I've never understood why.
Glad I finally subscribed to your channel. You really do DEEP dives and always add new depth to the cases I’ve seen before. Thanks for your in depth research!
I like to think he had just enough time for a moment of clarity as he was walking away from his gun. *Just* enough time to reflect on his life and realize that he was the dross of society, or maybe wonder if the whole thing was worth uninstalling over.
Given the statements of his family and how he waited until he heard the squad arrive on scene before the fatal shot (as noted in the vid), I question if his plan here was to injure himself --- expecting his team to reach him in time but still give enough time plausibly for the "culprits" to escape.
This coverage of GI Joe put all of the information together in such a cohesive, intelligent, and complete way that tied up and clarified his story, as well as his wife and DJ’s involvement. Excellent video, thank you for covering cases like this, that died off so quickly after they occurred.
She knew darn well that she was spending money that didn’t belong to her or Joe. She also knew BLM had nothing to do with her scumbag husband ending! I’m guessing she felt as though she wouldn’t be able to find someone else that wanted to be in a relationship with her so she opted to stay with a lying, cheating, sorry, no good man. Looking at her and hearing some of the things that came out of her mouth she might have been right. I’m not sure why she gave that little speech in court because WHO CARES? She was being harassed….so! The bank closed (or froze) her accounts….so! I’m sure she had money in the bank that didn’t belong to her. Her phone number and social security number was released by the media……so, who cares? 24 months probation is nothing. She deserved a much worse sentence than that.

I remember my high school going under a lockdown because of this. I couldn’t travel between the campuses for some of my classes. We were locked down for days because we believed there were just armed killers running around. My mom texted me to close all the blinds and curtains as soon as I got home from school. It was just a really odd situation, and the community was so blind sided when the truth actually came out.
By 2015, everyone, including you and the citizens of that town should know better than to buy the "upstanding cop who is a pillar of the community" act......if not, you could have at least asked a black person how that usually plays out....
This was a super weird case for me. I actually went to the high school that was on lock down. I was out of school because I was in the ER but all of my classmates were affected by it. The elementary schools near the shooting were on lockdown, so we had to actually pick my brother up from school. My friends and classmates knew and idolized him. All of us were watching the news reports all day and night. It was a wild time for us.

I believe he shot himself in the chest instead of the head (preferred method used by police officers to commit suicide) to ensure he could have a hero's funeral with open casket. Another marvelous job on this! I knew about the case, but you brought a lot of info that was missed in the media.
My school went on lockdown when this happened because they were worried the “killers” would try to get into one of our schools. I remember being mad when it happened because the lockdown started right before my lunch period and I wasn’t allowed to leave my classroom to go get my food from my locker. We were on lockdown for an hour and I was starving.
@Cassandra idk about other states and other areas, but in our area if a robbery or shooting occurred the nearby schools would go into lockdown just in case. Like one time when I was in 6th grade the Walgreens right next to our school was getting robbed at gunpoint and we immediately went into a lockdown just in case they crossed the road to take us hostage. I assume it had something to do with an incident in Peoria in the 60s, these gunman robbed a store and because the school had no AC and lockdowns weren’t a thing, the doors were wide open and one of the gunmen went into the school, took a child hostage, and tried to have a shootout in the playground with the police while holding the child. My dad knew the kid, and I think schools started to change how they did lockdowns due to that. That’s just my assumption though, so I get why we would go into a lockdown, but it was like 3 towns away so I agree it was a bit much.
I felt disgusted hearing Melody crying in her self-pity while denying she did anything wrong, even though she admits to stealing (no justification is a good enough one girlie! It's still stealing). It seems like the whole family is just a group of self-entitled low-lives masquerading as outstanding community members. The worst kind of people. She should have gotten jail time. You did a great job putting this case into the proper context. It can be a difficult thing for outsiders to figure out where the lines of behaviour start to go blurry in law enforcement. If you've never worked in that environment it's hard to pinpoint those little idiosyncrasies. Thanks for a great video, again!

Once it was proven to be true, you never saw anyone go from hero to villain SO fast in your entire life. His wife doesn’t have any shame, either. 😡

One of the most frustrating aspects of this case to me was how members of the community absolutely bombarded anyone else from the community who had a negative opinion of Joe and/or questioned literally any of his behavior.

Disgusting.
100% they need to be held at a higher standard
🙌🙌🙌🙌
If not what the point 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
The irony of blaming BLM when, once again, it was the cop who was the only issue is craaaazy

Feel bad for everyone having to listen to those crocodile tears that drew out her statement. I bet a lot of people just wanted her to stfu already.

@@blowitoutyourcunt7675 That's an awesome handle you got there lol
That is so sad. I hope he recovers from all of that.
That poor kid. I hope he - and all of yall - are doing better now
Oh jesus...I am sorry. How did he turn out? What happened to the explorer program?
Awful, but a good life lesson. Critical thinking is important especially when observing the mentally deficient. This dude was way over the top. Small town people can be gullible and naive.
@@kcunlimitedeats They are no longer "exploring".
It's so insane to think there are such terrible deceptive people out there like this getting away with this stuff every day. I'm glad there are people like dreading to investigate and report on these things
🦷🦷🦷 this is so wild because i went to high school here and was working at a mcdonald’s in the area when it happened. i remember the helicopters and police around but nothing much else. it’s crazy how so much was going on while i was telling people our ice cream machine was broken. there was such a disconnect between me and my coworkers and neighbors with this situation.
Just clean the machine you lazy f*ck !! 😁
The ice cream machine is always broken, ironically.
Little did you know, the cop's death was much like the ice cream maker's functionality, fake and manufactured
@@Pulapaws it's because of those stupid spoons, man
The best clue about this dude came early on.
Am I hearing this right? She’s whining bout life being tough after having defrauded ppl along w/her drunken crook husband?!
She’s Playing the victim.
Yep. She learned absolutely nothing from this experience, and the fact that she was let off on probation means she will learn nothing from it in the future.
You are hearing this right.

The thing that sucks is he will never know he failed.
Wonderful comment
I like to think he had just enough time for a moment of clarity as he was walking away from his gun. *Just* enough time to reflect on his life and realize that he was the dross of society, or maybe wonder if the whole thing was worth uninstalling over.
Maybe Hell exists, you never know
He knew. The details don't really matter. He knew that his life had been a failure.
This channel is really good. it's always nice to find something early. Before RUclips strips it of themes they deem inappropriate.

Hey I haven’t see this video yet, but these videos are my saving grace at work. I’ve been listening to them the last couple days and my shifts are flying by. Thank you for what y’all do.
Best coverage of this case i have ever seen.
That team wrote a hell of a letter...bombshell. I rewinded just so I could hear all the infractions again...
I was not expecting all of these twists and turns... 😲
*My suggestion for a video: the murder of Oakey Albert "Al" Kite, Jr. It's a frightening, but fascinating case!*
The fact multiple schools were out on lockdown for two person with one gun is actually ridiculous
By 2015, everyone, including you and the citizens of that town should know better than to buy the "upstanding cop who is a pillar of the community" act......if not, you could have at least asked a black person how that usually plays out....
FINALLY….🦷
The algorithm did me a solid!!
Edit: it is great to see the speed that this channel is growing, its well deserved❣️
I want to say I could listen to you all day and your storytelling is top notch!! Great writing 😌
It's amazing how the dark black spots on someone's record can be glossed over and white washed because someone is considered a 'good person' or a 'hero'.
I mean, Ted Bundy & Ed Kemper seemed like nice guys too...

Truly an exemplar for the thin blue line crowd.
It's a spectrum. Cops do a very difficult job in a country full of mentally ill criminals.

Also his wife seems to be good at lying, I might actually believe her tears if it wasn't for the texts.
I'd believe her if she didn't look like a potatoe with legs. Long suffering but enjoyed the embezzled money.

i remember when this happened and my school had to go on lockdown because of the “unknown armed assailants” supposedly roaming the streets. the whole town was covered in pro-police back the blue posters for a while after but they were all quickly torn down when everything came to light
I'm really happy I found this channel a few weeks ago it's really awesome the way you break everything down and are very clear when you change your narration from facts to opinions and you are honest about the feelings and turmoil you went through covering these cases much appreciation for your style and the hard work you put into your content 💖
Did you used to watch creepshow art? That’s why this channel was recommended to you it’s Shannon she’s just using a fake voice.
I believe he shot himself in the chest instead of the head (preferred method used by police officers to commit suicide) to ensure he could have a hero's funeral with open casket. Another marvelous job on this! I knew about the case, but you brought a lot of info that was missed in the media.
i was thinking maybe it was so he would have time to throw the gun away? or maybe both! what a sad sad idiot
one of my favorite videos of yours, happy the algorithm showed me it
My school went on lockdown when this happened because they were worried the “killers” would try to get into one of our schools.
Lol poor baby
Always with the bangers Mr. Dreading.
I don't even want to imagine how widespread behavior like this within law enforcement actually is.
no idea how youre able to pump out such quality content at this rate but we love to see it
Thank you for posting this story. I’ve not heard in detail until this channels upload. This is a great channel and it’s appreciated.
I know it’s already been said, but it can’t be stated enough. My man, in 3 months you have accumulated 100,000 subscribers and earned one of those silver RUclips plaques! That is absolutely amazing!
