Melissa Etheridge "Chrome Plated Heart" Acoustic on KOME/Blazy & Bob Show (Audio Only) from 1988

Melissa Etheridge performed this acoustic version of "Chrome Plated Heart" for us while she was promoting her first album in 1988. We'd heard that she only played 12-string guitars, so we made sure we had one ready. This was the result. It would be the only song she played live that morning. The next time she came into our KOME studios was September of 1993. She did two songs that day. (Coming soon to my channel.)
Both times, she was alright with us having some listeners in the studio to meet her and give them unique opportunity to see her perform live on the air. In all my years of morning radio, she has one of the strongest voices I've ever sat next to. The others were Greg Allman and Bryan Adams.
