- A mod by Silonugget for Red Dead Redemption 2 that adds many modern vehicles such as cars, yachts, jet skis, and planes. All of these vehicles are or will be in RobinHOOD Freeroam RedM. A car, or an automobile, is a motor vehicle with wheels. Most definitions of cars state that they run primarily on roads, seat one to eight people, have four wheels, and mainly transport people, not cargo. A yacht is a sailing or power vessel used for pleasure, cruising, or racing. There is no standard definition, though the term generally applies to vessels with a cabin intended for overnight use. A personal watercraft, also called water scooter, jet ski or sea-doo, is a primarily recreational watercraft that is designed to hold only a small number of occupants, who sit or stand on top of the craft, not within the craft as in a boat. PWCs have two style categories. An airplane is a vehicle that has wings and one or more engines and is capable of moving through the air. The word aircraft is also commonly used to refer to planes, though it can actually be used for other types of vehicles, such as helicopters.

I'm currently working on replacing npc spawn weapons with the modern firearms also. I'd like to figure out how to edit npc spawn clothing, and once we hopefully eventually get cars, I'd like to try make npc carriages spawn as car models instead.

@@Morbidoner if and when we can modify RPF files i am pretty sure you'd be able to add vehicles to this game and turn it into some post-apocalyptic fallout-style game with GTA elements.
I mean RDR2 was built on top of GTA, so surely there is a slim chance there is some leftover files and code that could allow for vehicle functionality including handling files and vehicles.meta modifications.
Unless R* purposely took them out but i doubt that

Idk, modded gta 5 still looks closer to gta 6. Rdr 2 lacks some modernity cities are small, no actual roads, too many nature etc. only in a graphical way it can tease about gta 6 graphics
@johnnybravo5969 Yea true, I meant from a technical point of view tho. Stock rdr2 with no mods has better graphics than stock gta 5. It's way closer to gta 6 than it is to gta 5.
I think these models could fit a bit more if they looked a bit dusty and worn. Aside of anachronism its just how pristine they look that is all wrong xD
I'm stunned that the Cars from GTA5 still runs on RDR2 map with collision intact!!! many modern games don't even bother to create object collision.

is there a mod that has a finished blackwater and other new towns/cities updates? If yes could you showcase them?
The closest that we have is Project New Austin 1907. It restores only some of Blackwater, and it's three years old. I don't think that many people would like to see a showcase of it. I also haven't posted a video since last year, and I want to return with a very great video.
