.355, .223, and .308 are the “American” measurements to each. :P jokes aside, no one that i know identifies 9mm in imperial measurements. But .223 and .308 are used and they are different from the NATO counterparts.

@@Maxxx5240 Pretty sure it's just that they're loaded to different pressures typically and thus can be risky to operate if you use a 5.56*45 in a 223 (but instead of just listenning to that and not putting more thought into that, just check the pressures and you'll realize you can run a lot of 5.56 in a 223. not all, but a lot)
Other than how hot are their loads there is no difference between a 5.56 and a 223. they're the same brass and same bullet

The difference comes in the chambers they're mean to be loaded into.
5.56 has an ever so slightly longer chamber than .223.
and the headspacing is slightly different in 7.62x51 nato and .308 chambers.

As a gunsmith, TACZero both tickles me and infuriates me.
The animations are just so smooth, and there's just so much polish when it comes to attachments.
But...
I know how certain guns feel. Guns with notoriously little recoil like the AR platform have way more in-game than they should, whilst guns like the G3 have way too little recoil.
A ton of engineering went into designing the AR-10, and it doesn't even show up in any of the addons for the mod.
Speaking of addons:
The mod dev that made the MCX is straight up incompetent. .277 Fury is basically .308 but with a much more spicy powder and a smaller peojectile. It is scary how hard and fast it shoots, and yet the mod dev interpreted it as an assault rifle.

It kicks like a roided out horse and will put a hole straight through an apartment complex.
