Rev closer to peak torque at lower revs to cruise in plane or near plane roads. Rev at peak power to climb hills. Diesel trucks do pick torque between ~900rpm and ~1400rpm, it depends on the engine. Peak power goes between 1300 and 1600rpm
i think you went way too fast on the twisty road, and way too slow on the slow example... the fun is going at the max speed the curve can take, so depends on skill. if there is no oncoming car, take advantage of the whole road if you have to. if you can't see far, then don't. finding "the line" is fun. and i have also seen it one time a truck irl went just a bit over the line on a curve. that helps me as a car driver that i should also allow trucks to do that maneuver, so they can save some speed. if i also do that on the opposite direction, shouldnt really intersect either (not sure if im explaining it right though, i just mean that finding the right line is good for everyone).
Wait, rain really affects physics and makes you lose grip in base ETS2 or is it some physics mod? I've never felt like I am losing traction in rain on base game.
Rain does make the traction worse. That's why each tire type has a grade for rain (the icon representing rain) just after fuel economy (fuel pump icon) and before the noise (loudspeaker icon), all those make a difference in ETS2 (no such thing in ATS unfortunately). Grades use letters, A would be better (not in any tire in base game) and E the worse. Elemental tire is the best for rain in the base game, while the Runner is the best for fuel economy.
@@chaoswarriorbr I am always using Michelin DLC tires with AB70 (or 69, I don't remember now, might be 69 front and 70 rear) indexes, so maybe that's why I never felt that I lose traction during rain as I'm always driving on good tires. I will test it when I'll have time.
bro you are talking dont buy iveco but you can buy iveco 560hp but you can buy daf only 530hp, so iveco is more powerful than daf, i know really good why you dont recommend to buy and iveco, you just dont like it cuz its iveco right?
Brother, one doubt why you targetting Iveco in all of your videos? And talking only about scannia? In this video, why there is no Volvo and Mercedes benz?
For whatever reason the game acts like you have drag slicks on when it’s just drizzling, even ATS, in Florida truckers don’t have grip issues even in the largest storms driving the speed limit
Not going to do the same driving in sharper curves (lower radius) even IRL at the same speed as in dry conditions. Sand and oil also interfere IRL. The thing is it does seem a bit too slippery in ETS2 and ATS, as if we had the rain and some oil, probably to enforce the feeling of being slipping for immersion. To be fair you can get a bit of oil and a slippery mess IRL, just not always! Also FL doesn't have many curvy roads, specially not going up and down hill, where slippery conditions shows more. Try driving anything, including a big rig anywhere between PA and TN over the Appalachians.
Sorry but I found this video a little pointless. First of all, truck choice is a matter of pleasure. I love driving Iveco Stralis or Renault Premium even they are modelled poorly (Because they are old), I love them. Secondly, chassis preference is depends on the purpose of truck. For standard cargoes, 4x2 is good because it has a great maneuverabilty, lower running costs. Yes, running cost is trivial but if you playing it as "Simulator", you should do some roleplay. But if you going to carry bulk load or heavy cargo, 6x4 and even 6x2 is may be a good choice. If you thinking about exceptional transport, 8x4 becomes a necessary one. Third, I don't make comment about this. Fourthly In another video, you recommended "Do big map combos" and now, you saying otherwise.

But I drive fast during delivery but carefully even on tight road I drives over 100-110km/h and only if I know this route orelse maximum I keeps 90km/h and on highway my driving speed is around 130km/h and if its triple lane then my maximum speed of driving is 160km/h and my fastest delivery was 1799km in 30hours 2 minutes but one rule is that never ever overtake any vehicle from right side in Europe because this vehicle driver may be other truck or bus or car can betray us
You are a speedster
Brother, does going in low rev (rpm) will consume less fuel?
Yes bro. High rpm consume more fuel. Low gears and low rpm saves fuel
@@vutomy you wrong bro, Higher gear and lower rpm will be fuel efficient 👍
@@vutomywhat? High gear and low rpm saves fuel.. And here U are making yt videos..
@@dacke13 😂
Rev closer to peak torque at lower revs to cruise in plane or near plane roads. Rev at peak power to climb hills.
Diesel trucks do pick torque between ~900rpm and ~1400rpm, it depends on the engine. Peak power goes between 1300 and 1600rpm
how do get porsche?
i think you went way too fast on the twisty road, and way too slow on the slow example... the fun is going at the max speed the curve can take, so depends on skill. if there is no oncoming car, take advantage of the whole road if you have to. if you can't see far, then don't. finding "the line" is fun. and i have also seen it one time a truck irl went just a bit over the line on a curve. that helps me as a car driver that i should also allow trucks to do that maneuver, so they can save some speed. if i also do that on the opposite direction, shouldnt really intersect either (not sure if im explaining it right though, i just mean that finding the right line is good for everyone).
Wait, rain really affects physics and makes you lose grip in base ETS2 or is it some physics mod? I've never felt like I am losing traction in rain on base game.
Rain makes the roads slippery
@@vutomy Honestly I've never felt it does
Rain does make the traction worse.
As someone who plays on a very big map combo if you have a strong pc its fun but i just dont zoom on the map
U can zoom..with a scale hack
@@vutomy how dude
Do u repair your trucks after damaging them
Yeah
bro you are talking dont buy iveco but you can buy iveco 560hp but you can buy daf only 530hp, so iveco is more powerful than daf, i know really good why you dont recommend to buy and iveco, you just dont like it cuz its iveco right?
yeah, I doubt there are a lot of fans of iveco trucks honestly.
Brother, one doubt why you targetting Iveco in all of your videos? And talking only about scannia? In this video, why there is no Volvo and Mercedes benz?
Scania is the efficient truck.
And Stock Iveco Stralis is the least efficient truck
Where can i grt that asian map?😮
For whatever reason the game acts like you have drag slicks on when it’s just drizzling, even ATS, in Florida truckers don’t have grip issues even in the largest storms driving the speed limit
I hear u
Not going to do the same driving in sharper curves (lower radius) even IRL at the same speed as in dry conditions. Sand and oil also interfere IRL.
The thing is it does seem a bit too slippery in ETS2 and ATS, as if we had the rain and some oil, probably to enforce the feeling of being slipping for immersion. To be fair you can get a bit of oil and a slippery mess IRL, just not always!
Also FL doesn't have many curvy roads, specially not going up and down hill, where slippery conditions shows more. Try driving anything, including a big rig anywhere between PA and TN over the Appalachians.
for driving trucks only will get boring i suggest u try busses
Yeah
I really liked it, but sometimes I also drive the bus😀
Its good
Sorry but I found this video a little pointless.
Guys do ingage with the ragebait of course this whole guide was porposely made for other soulless creatures "knows as things" that has no free will nor the creativity that we as humans are capable of 👍🏻
to steer it needs 4 busness weeks
this is your personal preference its in no way a do's and don't video XD
FYI the 4 by 2 is fine for pulling long and heavy jobs as long as you're not on dirt or snow
i have 2 garages with my maxed out trucks and i call them a truck show room🤣
i use a 4x2 for everything
Well I'm only on Level 8 and still using a Man 4x2. But I have two other drivers and a garage for 3 trucks of our trucks. I have upgraded myself to drive more delicate or special volatile products to earn more money and I have also upgraded my two drivers to to the same. Some good points and hopefully when I get more oney in I can upgrade my truck to a 6x4 and pimp it up all the way!
Only noob can do (dont's) !!
I'm just passing by....
Btw I agree about your dos&dont's for those gamer who's always in a hurry for their destination after the incident they asked questions so sorry to them saying about this but trues(^^)
Lol
What did Iveco Stralis do to you?
Nothing. Just that it has low power
The starting engine power is not good therefore not being able to do much
Do you think you will need much power at the beginning of new career in ETS2?
No, you won't, but Stralis has problems with 10 tons, in my opinion, Volvo FH (newer) or modern Scania is best at the begining, because it has the best hp at the start. Later, you can go on other trucks, but from my experience you need to have better start.
@@SomKing123 The best starting truck would be Renault Magnum, coz he has the most HP in the beginning, where you are low level and cant access stronger engines
*how bout i do anyway*
Wait are cars in ETS2?
with mods yes, base game no
Yes bro car is fast in ets2 and ats iam right bro
Yes. ETS2 car physics are poor
@@vutomyyes but is also the cheapest one, so if you want to start with your own truck the stralis is a good option🤷🏼♂️. Then I don’t know which job do you think he can’t do
Drive seriously with same precaution as if real driving
Yes
don't buy Iveco cause only 560HP buy DAF cause 540 really?
Lol
Do play how you want
Dont speed up on tight roads!. Me on calais-duisburg 🤭
😂😂😂
man people bully stralis
wait so this was a legit video?? I thought this was a joke lol
Any Japanese truck mod can perform better than that Iveco Stralis. Even a vintage Hino semi-truck has better acceleration than the boring Iveco Stralis truck haha
Nah cars are valid, I use them to discover recuitment agencies, it's way easier and faster
Aren't you worried about the physics?
@@vutomy nah because I got used to them so I know how fast can I go with the car while staying in my lane and being able to gradually slow down
I DO wHAT I WANT
my man realy sad dont have fun XD
I never understood why people drive cars in a game like ETS2. So pointless. Dude, play Forza or Gran Turismo. :D
Only ten second it took you, to insult my religion.
What happened brother
Im sorry sir. what did i do???
@@vutomy Iveco is love, Iveco is life
Dont buy a iveco, daf, man, volvo or shitbox.. buy a scania.
DAF is a good truck brand
@@vutomy It's not that I don't like daf but paccar is a complete shitbox pack 😅
You are nobody for telling us about don't use map. Poeple do what they want to do and this rude to come with your "knowledge" and boycott the giant work of many heroes. Your video is just pretencious, pointless.. This is a game and everyone need to discover how they want to get fun in it.

Always a 4x2

which rain mod are you using?
