You know, I just installed my marley twists over the weekend...I think I could probably take out every section and divide it in half and divide the extension in half too, I just might be able to achieve this. I'll experiment in 4 weeks :) Thanks for this idea! I really want microlocs but I'm not ready to commit to it so this helps! Genius!

I think the fullness is perfect 👌🏾! I have fine hair so I like even when my protective styles look natural or comparable to my own thickness...but that’s me...lol still your hair looks great 👍🏾 Thxs for the inspiration 😀

Wow thank you for watching, congratulations to you! I didn’t do the bariatric procedure but not knowing the correct way to lose weight left me with loose aged skin. Definitly going to have to get that taken cared of lol

I have used black beeswax for years instead of gel and it also conditions my hair while it’s up for 2 sometimes 3 months at at a time it works for me but everyone’s different

Those look super beautiful, I am very tempted to get those with my own hair. However, I suck at keeping hair in for a long time. The most I can go is like close to three months. With those I feel like i would have to leave them in for like 6 months to make the time getting them done worth it😂. I am very much contemplating this. It looks very good.

So I ended up combing out my locs (damaged ends, multiple bleaching sessions, I was over it). I managed to maintain some length of my hair, but now I don't want NO part in dealing with my.loose natural hair, so I'm going back to microlocs, lol. I'm doing micro twists, but the very very front of my head is broken off and extremely short, so I will fi d human hair for extensions and go from there, thank you!

Beautiful!! About to attempt 🥴 this look with Afro Kinky human hair. Not at this length thought. Got 16in bulks and I might extend it a bit more to get about 20in length before stretching. I have the vision, thanks to you. Praying I can execute 🙏🏾😂😂

These are great questions! It didn’t swell like locs, nor did my hair puff out the twist after shampooing. I had them in for about 3 months but could have went longer, so no you re not low-key triflin lol You might want to check out the Update I have on this style. Thanks for watching 🥰🥰🥰

What hair products would you recommend to keep your hair moisturized and How do I take care of my micro twist for three months without letting it turn into locs
Great question! Moisture is key. I suggest a using a leave in conditioner after your shampoos and focusing on the roots. Theres so many on the market to choose from so its hard to say just one. I also suggest a scalp serum or scalp oil to nourish the scalp and promote healthy growth while your hair is in the micro twist. I hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Great question! It doesn’t hurt to try. The overall look would be curlier and maybe appear fuller! Im sure it’ll look beautiful💞

Great questions! I didn’t dip them because I liked the idea of natural looking tethered ends. Honestly it held up very well, although its synthetic hair it never looked trashing on the ends. Unfortunately this is not a service I offer, simply because I barley had the time or patience to do it on myself but I’m sure you’ll be able to accomplish this look lol Thanks for watching!

Cassybfit Thank you so much! I kept it for about 8-10 weeks. Personally the older it got the better it looked. Highly recommend it, plus I was able to maintain my weekly shampoos!

That's how I felt. Thats why I DIY two-strand twist with human hair extensions. But there's so many ways to go about making this style permanent

I did mine and I get the roots interlocked. Since I did then I added a small amount of human hair on top for texture. They look soo real!
I love this. I've been considering microlocs, but I'm hesitant because I have fine, low-density hair and then there is the commitment and cost. I love this look and would definitely try a shorter version of it. How long did the look last?

Been wanting to get REAL micro locs and was wondering should I add some of this hair to even my hair out. Then trim it away as it got longer. Would you suggest that???
Honestly that sounds like a plan, it’s about comfortable and versatility to me. At some point I might decide to take off the extensions because I doubt they’ll loc. But if it looks decent as it grows out, more than likely I’ll keep it. Hope this was helpful, thanks for watching and congratulations on the start of your journey!!!
You could try human hair kinky texture or try to find something your hair texture
I do these with Marley hair usually but I've been wondering about the Cuban twist hair for it since it looks more like my hair. Does it get soft with this hair? That's what was holding me back from using the Cuban hair.
I understand that concern. The Cuban hair twist matches my hair perfectly which contributed to the longevity of the style. Overall, the twist felt soft and super lightweight. I think it felt soft bc I use such small sections. Hope this info helps!

This is a great DIY, just takes a bit of patience lol And thank you, I loss close to 100lbs. My weight fluctuates anywhere between 5-10lbs but im conscious of my physical activity, understanding what foods work well for my body and overall just embracing the journey.
