    I FINALLY found you!!! I have been looking for this tutorial with Marley/kinky hair for TWO LONGGGG days, lol! I found a other few nice videos in the mean time. I want to do this and thinking about locking from there. Actually the video right before this one. But YES!!! I am so excited:-) How cute!!!!

      Just curious if you able to use this style to transition into locs. I’m thinking about going that route.

    • @areid___

      @@shinacaldwell8832 Great question, I can't see why not. I've thought about doing it myself. It will require you to touch up the roots with the interlocking tool and once you achieve your desired length you can remove the micro twist.

      @@shinacaldwell8832 :: I highly highly recommend using real hair if you transition. Human hair!! I did this about 10 yrs ago, palm-rolled and not twists. I used human hair and kept it in my hair for 7 years, no issues.

IT TOOK TWO WEEKS CZ BEING SO BUSY I WORKED ON IT WHEN I FELT LIKE IT SO IT WOULD LOOK GOOD. I was wondering the same thing. I think I want microlocs, but would like to start with micro twists first and then interlock if I decide to make them permanent.

      I didn’t mess up my hair, but I did mess up in terms of recording my update and putting the content out sooner. I felt so discouraged and planned on not doing an update after some time passed but a lovely viewer requested an update and thats when I made this video. I hope that clarifies for you. • @areid___

    Did you have any issues with the twists slipping out? I’m thinking about starting permanent locs with extensions the same way you did from the previous vid but my hair is a lot shorter and I’m not sure it’ll stay in.

    • @areid___
      @areid___  3 года назад +3

      Great question, surprisingly no slippage! I definitely thought about using this style as a way to start my locs but I was concern the twist wouldnt loc. But, if you're okay with keeping the twist until your locs grow to your preferred length, this may be an option.
