Bridget Robinson just cut a hole where the existing out and inlet tubes are. These places are reinforced providing a stronger surface for the attacements - the items you have bought. You can also cut a new hole somwhere else - I thought of doing that so I could use the existing smaller out/inlet for attacing solar heating.
Parken26 tak for dit hurtige svar.
Hello. I am thinking about doing the same to my prism frame pool. I have the same 32mm opennings like you had. But I bought the sand filter pump with saltwater and in the package there are 38mm hoses and that new 38mm inlet nooze. But I am missing the valves and the skimmer which I am planning to buy. I must say I am a bit affraid to cut holes in my new pool. I was talking to a local pool shop and you know he was against it to cut holes. But hmm I think those 32mm holes would be a bottleneck if I use that adapter B or what do you think ? Can I screw up something during cutting the 38mm holes ? I still have a 2 years warranty hmm
Don't worry - just go ahead and do it. Use a new sharp blade and a steady hand. I don't fancy the adaptor B even though I did buy a set, never used them - decided to cut the larger holes. Others have done it so why should I not be able to do it as well - and it works well no leaks at all. Use a cutting motion with the blade rather than trying to push the blade through the material. I cut my holes with water in the pool to ensure the liner was stretched out so the hole would end up being round rather than eliptical but you can just as easily cut it with the liner laying flat on the ground just make sure your hole is round and fits the nozzles.
Thanks I will try my best. I would rather do a slower cut.Really afraid I will screw up something. I will take my laptop out and will watch your video one more time before cutting of the holes. Btw do you have some vacation plans in Czech Republic ? Prague ? So you would come and show me in person how to cut it.
No vacation plans at the moment - unfortunately. Just do it! Once you have finished you'll wonder why you worried... I worried too if that's any comfort.
i am planning to buy a new saltwater filter to upgrade my metal frame pool. i also had the same questions. but dont worry. grab a good tool and cut it. i have other three older and smaller intex pools that i use them for repairing my bigger. i cut them many times to get patches for my big one and i assure you that the material is still strong even if is cutted. dont be afraid. just do it. but firstly fill up the pool until the water level reaches the hole that you plan to make. good luck
We had cut ours and to be honest with you, i hope you don't do it. With the pump on we found ours started to leak. I am a single mum and have found it hard to repair. I had to buy waterproof silicone and still the water is somehow getting through. Do you know you can buy adapters that connects to smaller outlets. I wish i knew about them b4 my mate cut the vinyl. Good Luck

It is an Intex sand filter model SF60220 this is controlled by an inverter www.ukpoolstore.co.uk/acatalog/Clever-Pool_Variable_Speed.html so it only runs at 1200 rpm as opposed to the fixed 3500 rpm - btw I have seen this unit for sale in Denmark for half the price advertised on the page i linked to. This allows me to run the pool heat pump for longer time each day at a lower cost for electricity. Link to photo of the setup - just not the inverter which is in the garage goo.gl/photos/8Bp54fWzVCLEgvqD7
Tony Let's play 678 I´m glad you found the video useful. I also bought the B adapter but when I had it in my hands I decided it would not be a good idea. I have had absolutely no problems at all with this installation of the propper valves, also it allows for a greater flow rate since the hole diameter is larger.

Speedfreely if you notice when I get ready to install the fitting through the liner I use a blue fitting for the inside of the pool. This fitting comes with the surface skimmer. I just disconnect the skimmer hose on the inside of the pool and use a Ø32 mm hose. First I fill the length of hose with water and then connect it to the blue fitting. Sucks real good and then I dive around and vacuum the pool. Every now and then I need to clean the strainer behind the blue fitting so I unscrew it and gently grab the debris with two fingers making sure itbdoes not go back into the pool. Also the Ø32 mm hose goes into the blue fitting and not outside as the skimmer hose does. We now have a tent around the pool which have greatly reduced the amount of debris in the pool and of course made it nice to swim on windy and rainy days which we have a lot of... Next year I plan to install a separate vacuum line by means of another valve on the outside of the pool below the valve installed in this video.
@@The_French_ie Hello Fab - Sorry I did not see your comment here until today - it is a modified Sunny Tent. The Sunnytent poles are not up for the task, quality is too low. The poles are motsly powder and no binding agent. I made my own poles outof steel conduit tubing. I bought enough lengths so I could make 3 pieces for each pole, connected these with a pipe of smaller diameter which I inserted into the longer sections and use a centerpunch to hold these together. Works like it is supposed to - now! I also have my thent mounted on a deck with a modified bracket with angle iron on both sides.

Parken26 tak for dit hurtige svar.
Du kan finde fittings her
pooloasen.dk/swimmingpool/poolslange-fittings-mv
og her
koihulen.dk/fittings-anden-fitting-c-55.html
Good Luck
Where can I find the larger/threaded strainer?
A V Amazon, eBay or here summerbackyard.com/products/replacement-intex-2-plunger-valves-inlet-direct-strainers?variant=36425625480
The strainer is part of the valve kit. You may also be able to find the strainer as a single product on intex own site or
www.eurotoys.dk/product/Pool_Inlet_Outlet_Strainer_Set_38mm_Intex_Reservedele_25025.asp?site=76&vn=101-025025&CPC&Trans_defdk&gclid=CjwKCAjwsIbpBRBNEiwAZF8-z73sCBz1H2rbDePyc-8--2y99sVMcveJlFGxoo6s5juPC1CQ5E1C7hoCADMQAvD_BwE
I just bought 2 of them (12-20-20) off of intex website for about 5 dollars each. I had to buy the nut and washers separate. About 5 dollars total.
Forgive my ignorance, but what language is this?
Jesse Smith that is not ignorance not being able to tell what mumbo jumbo I am babbling on about 😃 its Danish with a North Jutland accent. I meant to narrate this video in English but never got around to it - anyway the video is kind of self explanatory.

Which pump did you atach to it
It is an Intex sand filter model SF60220 this is controlled by an inverter www.ukpoolstore.co.uk/acatalog/Clever-Pool_Variable_Speed.html so it only runs at 1200 rpm as opposed to the fixed 3500 rpm - btw I have seen this unit for sale in Denmark for half the price advertised on the page i linked to.
This allows me to run the pool heat pump for longer time each day at a lower cost for electricity.
Link to photo of the setup - just not the inverter which is in the garage goo.gl/photos/8Bp54fWzVCLEgvqD7
Parken26 thanks . Im converting my 10.76" pool to sand filter and I dont wan to use the B adapter so you helpt me :)
Tony Let's play 678 I´m glad you found the video useful. I also bought the B adapter but when I had it in my hands I decided it would not be a good idea. I have had absolutely no problems at all with this installation of the propper valves, also it allows for a greater flow rate since the hole diameter is larger.
If only I could find the fitting you just put thru the pool wall !
I seems these places have them in stock

How do you vacuum the pool with that setup? Thanks
Speedfreely you may want to watch this video too ruclips.net/video/1QiPcG964t8/видео.html shows the complete setup.
Hi, you use a tent ? Sunnytent ??? or other ?
thanks
@@Parken26 Okay, thanks, i modified my sunny tent also
Here... Chicki-Chicki... Bork! Bork! Bork!

Title in English but video isn't? Couldn't understand a word he said. I'm trying to find out the purpose of a certain piece and if he's not speaking English, the title shouldn't be in English.
Dear mon well - why don’t you just ask a question? With your observation skills you must have noticed that I reply to all questions asked😏
@@Parken26 Apparently my observation skills were lackluster when i made my comment.
Although I'm feeling increased respect for you for addressing my comment, I'm also curious why you would put the title in English but use a different language in the video.
My question was about whether or not the air valve is necessary but I've since gotten that question answered. But thank you for replying to my comment. I'm going to to remove my thumbs down. Peace.
@@roscmon well, I wanted english speaking people to be able to find my video and learn how to perform this upgrade. At the time of posting, there was really not any good videos showing the whole process. My intention was to do a voice over, I just never got to that point. But I have thought about it many times, since the audio is very poor, even if you understand the danish I am speaking in that video.
I am glad you found the answer you were looking for, elsewhere. One can learn almost anything on youtube - have a nice day 🙋🏻♂️
@@Parken26 Thank you for graciously handling my initial criticism. You grace humbles me. Thank you also for having the desire to teach what you know. May many blessings come your way. 💯
@@roscmon Much appreciated - best wishes for you as well. 🌻
