My Intex pool came with the wrong size inlet hole cut out for the pump that was bundled with it. I was really bummed that I had to use an older, weaker pump. Then I watched this video, and I feel invincible. I'm going to try modifying the liner to finally realize the full potential of the aerated inlet.

Where do the strainer connectors shown at 1:32 of the video go? After it was mentioned at the beginning, nothing else is said about them.
Please tell me WHY you would ever need to place the black cap over the air jet plunger valve. Thanks
It gives you a stronger longer stream. Compared to aerator ( cap off) . But aerator version gives you more of a spread. Also you want cap on, when placing vacuum. But it's all preference. Hope this helps. Anyone in the RUclips community hopefully can add their ideas. 😊👍

@@StatUpBoxI like the filter better when there are no bubbles. When I have the cap off, there are bubbles everywhere. I read somewhere that you’re supposed to always have the cap off? Is that true or can I put the cap on and leave it and run the filter and not hurt the filter. I have a intex 3000 gph sand filter.

Hello, I have a question why or how can I fix water squirting out of the plunger valve knob? The actual thing knob you turn shiits water out where the knob rest at on the rest of the body of the plunger. There is an o ring on the bottom of inside piece that goes up and down.

@@StatUpBox took it off and re did it. It was tight and the o ring I have on the inside of the pool . I siliconed it so I’m not gonna fill it till tom . So fingers crossed it works
