Use the AIM-9L in rear aspect. Most people forget to turn off their afterburner, leading to a free kill even if they flare. The only exception is the MiG-23. Don't waste your AIM-9L on floggers.

F5E is probably the most amazing aircraft i have ever had. it can do basically everything very decently. i have used it for everything from BnZ, dogfight, airfield strafing, base bombing and ground targets

This is of course compensated by an amazing gun, but if the enemies are all aware of you and they keep their speed somewhat up so they can always continue to dodge you, it can quickly turn into a stalemate. That being said, it is of course still pretty op, because most people are not aware. But it just isn't the most fun playstyle for me and I guess many others it is neither and I much, much prefer flying the F86.

@Sebmundo it has nothing to do with that. The P-63 is just an awful fighter. Bad turn rate, mid speed, its just overall a low-mid plane. For any given situation there's infinite number of other planes that would be better in every way compared to it.

Me and one of my friend used to use the M5A1 to get a few scouts then jump into our P-400 or P-39 and destroy whole enemy teams.
