Got the original tech sling, indeed a great sling/brief case, too bad, I carry more stuff (homemade meals) nowadays. looking for a bigger bag.

Great question but I can't say for sure as I've never tested the Tumi - the bulkiness of the Nomatic should not be understated - it's annoying lol

Yes that is Hong Kong 🇭🇰. I get them all from the web, but there is a great backpack store I go to sometime called Suburban. They have two locations - one in CWB and the other in Kwun Tong

I did indeed get the bag, and I love it! Everything from the sleek/sexy look, to the functionality and surprisingly good storage capacity. Only thing I think may've been worth adding was a buckle for the 2 loose side straps, it would've added more function to it. NTL, I'm really happy with my purchase :D
Any recommendations for something that slides over the handle of a carry on roller a bit smaller than a messenger! I like the nomatic but feel its too big, I want something to hold a laptop ipad tech pouch and glasses everyday carry sort of stuff. Cheers for any help

The 5.11 RUSH should be considered. It's a bit much but still has high quality.

but you didn't include your favorite, the Aer Tech Sling 2, or Travel Sling 2, which both are essentially messenger slings.

The Aer Commuter Brief 2 sucks as a messenger - the strap is way too short and the main compartment was too small to even fit my lunchbag. I returned it and got the Peak Designs Everyday Messenger V2 which unfortunately doesn't have all the storage options as the Aer but is a much better size for me.
I agree about the strap, but it not fitting your lunch box shouldn't be a negative, it's just not the right size for your specific EDC needs. Glad you like the Peak Design tho!

I got the Nomatic messenger bag for my MacBook/school
My backpack was getting to heavy lmao
That messenger is still really have though, and messengers are never as comfy as backpacks 😬

Classes I don’t need my bag for I’ll just bring the messenger
@@elchancho8432 I hope this works, but it might make it worse. If so, try and get a small light backpack that has a great hip belt like a hiking bag from Osprey or Patagonia
I wouldn’t like to ride a bike with any of these bags. I don’t see any of them as messenger bags

There are certainly cheaper messengers available, but this list covers the BEST - and you get what you pay for ;)
