That bmw is going to be an oil burner early in its life, not to mention gearbox issues and big end bearings..who in they're right mind drives a car that hard when cold? It takes a good 10mins of driving for the oil to fully warm up and circulate, this includes the gearbox oil..
@@ronanoloughlin7516 That's so not true. Does not take 10 minutes of driving to warm everything up.. Minute of idling in the garage and by the time you are at the end of your street, everything is warmed up. The whole 10 minute wait is a myth and never been proven if it actually prevents damage compared to pulling out of your garage and off you go..
@@rabbitolychee6395 you're wrong, engine metals and tight fitting components need time to heat and expand. Driving a car hard after start up is not good, this cause unnecessary engine wear and stress. All metals need to be up to operating temp before hard run, forcing metals to rapidly expand is not good, fact, that's coming from somebody who works on engines.

@@hmrsvideos BTW do you know anything about cars? The poor things done 70km and it's cold... You shouldn't redline it before breaking in period and specially when it's cold... This engine won't make it past 40k before having some serious bearing and piston ring issues

@@rabbitolychee6395 the best measure for hard driving is oil temp. On this engine redline is recommended at least approx. 90 deg Celsius.
