  • This week we take a closer look at concealed carry reciprocity between various states and some things you should be aware of when carrying a firearm outside of your home state. As there are so many different states, we don't go too in-depth on any one state, but use our home state of Ohio as an example.
Thanks for watching. New videos post every Thursday!

Good advice. I live behind enemy lines and have to travel through even worse infringement states to get to my destinations often. As you said unload separate ammo from firearm both go into separate locked containers un reachable from passenger compartment. A real PITA. Also I do not stop for gas or anything in those states.

Good video! I would like to also add that some states like Wisconsin classify pepper spray as a weapon. Careful if you carry this. When I worked in corrections here in Minnesota, we were warned that if we lived in WI, to leave our chemical spray in our employee locker and not bring it home with us unless we had a carry permit.

The ratification of the 2nd Amendment on Dec. 15, 1791 says all Americans have right to carry weapons in public for lawful purposes, such as self-defense, IN ALL STATES, TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS of the USA. No license (infringement/hinder) required.

However, left wing anti-american dumbocrats do not necessarily support the Constitution, especially the 2nd amendment. Self defense is usually not high on their list of priorities.

Interesting. In MD, it works only for MD. Seems like in OH, MD HGP would be accepted. Yet homosexual marriage licenses are accepted nationwide. 2nd Amendment is textual right so what happened here? Real problem I think.

What happens when you prevent God provided rights, and allow perverted degeneracy.

You make the SAME point I've been making since the queers got their marriages legalized, AND the fact that Driver's Licenses, and hetero marriages also have reciprocity!
The problem is that it is the 'Gun Industry' (pundits, Advocacy Groups, lawyers, judges, et al) UNDERMINES itself, us, and the Constitution, by NOT bringing exactly this type of lawsuit in ALL Blue States, and in EVERY State which does not allow a person to travel via Public Transport, or through School Zones, or houses of worship, while armed.
We are literally killing ourselves, undermining our constitution, and destroying our ability for Equal Treatment, and we are doing it VOLUNTARILY!
This video continues to engage in this undermining paradigm.

Check the law carefully in your state and others. Some states that have permits and Constitutional carry have to completely different sets of rules of where you can carry, permit vs Constitutional carry. If I were you I wouldn't give up your permit. And Constitutional carry rules can change your permit won't as easily. I have 4 different states permits that allow me to carry in multiple states. Some already have Constitutional carry but I want every advantage possible when it comes to laws. If I get pulled over by law enforcement they know i'm not a felon. I have a legal right to have the gun or guns, depending on the state. Say you get in a shooting and in court you say I have carried a gun for 25 years and have never needed to use it until today. If you have had the permit for 25 years you can prove that fact. Without a permit even if you have carry for 25 years they can make it look like you just started to carry a gun yesterday and you were out looking for a fight or just to shoot someone. Obviously 25 years is just an example of time. But the longer you can prove you have carried responsible the better. In my travels across state lines I have always done research as laws can change year over year. Having a permit is still better.

In most cases you must be a licensed carry in your state to carry in others. Do the research, but it is unlikely you are legal in a state you do not reside in without a permit.

I appreciate the intent of this video: to legally 'arm' CCW holders with the information necessary for proper carrying with a CCW.
However, I MUST point out that the entire underlying premise for this video, is ethically, morally, and constitutionally abhorrent: ie, that Law Abiding Citizens are the ones tasked with knowing all the 'fine print' of the SEVERELY anti-2A laws, which have been passed, which INFRINGE on the Constitutional Rights of Law Abiding Citizens, but have ZERO effect on Criminals!
Let me repeat that paradigm: WE, the Law Abiding Citizens, are the ones upon whom Law Enforcement (those carrying badges are NOT 'peace officers' anymore, they have ZERO intent, inclination, or duty, to 'keep the peace': they have become, and are, in fact, Armed Tax Collectors and Imprisoners for the city, county, or state, in Real World terms, thus, they are NOT to be trusted) shall bring down their heavy handed power, not the criminals!
The Constitution does NOT preclude the right of someone to travel while armed, whether on Public Transport, or through 'school zones', but the LAW DOES in far too many states, and this video is proving that point quite well, by noting that CCW's CANNOT Constitutionally Carry (ie, exercising their Constitutional Rights) while engaging in otherwise legal operations during their normal days!
This type of advocacy of contra-constitutional laws MUST STOP, but FIRST it must be recognized for what it is: the undermining of our Constitutional Rights, and it is Gun Owners/2A advocates who are doing it to ourselves.
When will 2A advocates 'in the business' GET HONEST with what they are doing to us, to themselves, and to our Constitution?
Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY
