I had a great love for classical dance and was feeling that this art form is not able to draw many youngsters to persue it as a full-time sadhana .Now I am feeling that you are the one to inspire them to take classical dance seriously and do Sadhana . All these years I was seeing parents giving dance lessons for their children as just an investment .One year learning and some stage performances . After seeing you dance They will have to change their thinking .That Classical dance is not something to show others but to persue it as a Sadhana and enjoy within first to perform before others You dance so gracefully and very swift like a Hirani God bless you with many more innovative and intuitive gestures of this Devine Art form.

(you meant fast) .Thrutham (1 thattu 1 veechu) thrutham, laghu, guru, plutham, kaakapadam these are different types of thaalams. Thiru Neeli Kali"s skin tone is dark blue. So i.e Neeli

When you do not have the genes for dance this is the result! Looks more like an Indian ballet dance. The music does not match! Authentic Bharata Natyam is not easy its very precise in every way its not an Art for luxurious people like this woman! Besides the original Kali Kauvtuam of the Tanjore Quartet Parampara is a masterpiece of dance choreography and classical Carnatik music
You must be kidding i watched the kali kauvtuam of the tanjore paranam and compared to this interpretation by rukmini it looked like a highschool kid dancing ..very to robotic and not connected to her body...imature

The brilliant choreographic work and music is unmatched what Rukmini is portraying is a contemporary immature version of her own! There is no connection between choreograph and music to much gimmicks not that highly spiritual depth, stillness! She never studied under the authentic Masters!! By the way you did NOT see the master work so do not give comments if you do not know anything of the Source Art because I am a master and custodian of the Source Art and I do not blep around if I do not know what I am writing or saying! My comment is super correct no one in the field of mainstream Bharata Natyam can deny that because it is a FACT! Sabine Garry I did watch the choreograph and listen to the music again as an artistic master, what I can see and hear she and the singer does not have any knowledge of the original master work of the Pancha Murthi Kauvtuam from which the Kali Kauvtuam is part of! The dance and music is good to fit in a Bollywood movie!
