Bravo. Saludos cordiales desde Perú
If anyone doesn’t appreciate just how talented this girl is and how difficult the movements are, have a go at copying her simple balance movement at 2.02. To squat down and balance on the balls of your feet is difficult at the best of times. While she is rock solid you will be wobbling and constantly adjusting just to stay upright. ..............Now try doing it with your eyes closed like she does.

Whenever I watch Hindu temple dances I am reminded of the antediluvian giants and their colourful world of seemingly endless cultural, natural and Hi-Tech possibilities and inventions. Knowledge long lost, only written down in codes which often are no longer accessible for the human race of today, except through dance.

How come you're the only Indian man visiting and appreciating. Why are many of them are visiting the Mayuri videos to give good compliments. When they should want their Indian women get back that talent. Indian dancers needs to get rid of too much break dancing and put more traditional dance moves/styles back in their dance routines. They need to refuse doing those explicit dances and bring back modesty, get rid of all non white backup dancers. They take away the presence of Indian women.

I've been binging on Barathanatyam dance, which I love above all other dances, on You-Tube. Sanjeena Ramesh was by far the best dancer I've come across. The ways she uses her face and hands to tell the story is awesome.
Excellent performance. Many of the standing postures of her are also visible on temples built thousands of years ago. Meaning, there is a godly connection between the sculptures and what they were conveying and what Bharatanatyam conveys to the viewer. Basically, the art is a visual rendering of something closer to you vs those that you see only when you visit a temple.
Each and every word of the kouthuvam is pronounced so perfectly most of the non Maharashtraians have problem while pronouncing some words like aalya vagishwari but sheela ma'am and shrikaant sir pronounced it perfectly the choreography and performance by sanjana akka was just so mesmerising no words to describe

This dress is called Saadi. Indian Women’s Dress.
I didn’t realize the connection with 🧘♂️ yoga! Now that I have, it makes perfect 🤩 sense. Enlightenment though dance!
WHO is this woman?! It's as if an ancient statue came to life from 3000 years ago. Her performance carries a heavy power within it. It was a pleasure to behold.
8000 + years ago to be more accurate.

Undoubtedly, the tradition of this dance is sacred - the guarantee of eternal youth and the adornment of the Hindu people. (this is the translation)
One thing I really love about this genre is how the dance also includes facial expressions. I don’t really see that in modern dance.
Omg! Perfect ! what a beautiful dancer!
greetings from America!
Yes when you close your eyes, immediately you are out of balance. I am a yoga practitioner and when I am on balancing poses i need to open my eyes 😄

@ Rob G. You may want to watch the Tapasya series by Sridevi Nrithyalaya ruclips.net/video/Y-bU_hX6N50/видео.html to get an idea of the training starting at a young age (around 5 years old) for the performers to reach this level of perfection.
THANK YOU. I totally agree. That's what I mentioned
This is called Bharathanatiyam not Hindu temple dance. There is no such thing.

One of the best dances I have ever seen. No matter where you are from, you cannot be bust amazed at the beauty, grace and passion in which she dances with. I have no clue what's being said but I love it anyway.
Wow. So beautiful! All the different positions of her arms and fingers and body were so precise. Beautiful dancer!
Every culture is beautiful.....native Americans were really close to nature and have given peaceful musicals
Greetings from india 🇮🇳 dear
The beauty of the female form in it's fluid agility is quite enjoyable.
She is my favorite to watch. Her facial expressions are just fabulous. I cannot stop watching.
One in a million can dance like her, with respect to all Indian classical dancers! Her natya bhangimas, mudras and movements are par excellence.
I just got goose bumps when I see her perfections and foot movements
I am also a 12 year old classical dancer ☺😊

Do u mean u've been dancing for 12 years or that u are 12 years old?
My Guru said to me Practice makes Perfect.
Keep practicing you will be what no one has become. Beleave me, I experienced it too. Best of luck.

Me too. Shes my fave and this is my fave of her performances. ❤
BEAUTIFUL DANCING AND BETTER YET BEAUTIFUL WOMAN!!🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍💐💐
Her feet taps much faster along with the beat of the faster drums I noticed. Her body moves like that of water with a gentle flow.
Indian women are amazingly beautiful and their traditional dancing is unmatched.
Huh? So you've experienced every culture's dancing?
Idk about all that. Especially the beautiful part. And their men are sooooo sho......nevermind. We all have our opinions and your entitled to yours.
Cynthia Rosario jealous much?
Irene Maz jealously blackens the soul, poor woman
Jason the man thats a dude, dude!
So glad to see Sanjena shine in her own solo. Great job!
She is expressing the greatness of Sri Saradha, (Saraswati), goddess of knowledge( wisdom), education and arts.
Her movements are beautiful 😍
Each and every word of the kouthuvam is pronounced so perfectly most of the non Maharashtraians have problem while pronouncing some words like aalya vagishwari but sheela ma'am and shrikaant sir pronounced it perfectly
the choreography and performance by sanjana akka was just so mesmerising no words to describe

Very impressive and beautiful. She also has advanced degrees in real analysis and abstract algebra. 😀
I just recently started challenging myself both mentally and physically to dance similar to her. Wonderful performance! Thank you for sharing this video!
Thank you RUclips for bringing to me this amazing performance! Suddenly, I've been taken 25 years back when, in Paris, in Cité Universitaire we, a bunch of awkward girls from all parts of the world, were learning these very movements. Even with my total lack of skills, I felt exhilarated and energized back then. I can only imagine what kind of energy a perfect dancer like Sanjena Ramesh might feel while performing this dance.
I found this style of dance recently. I just couldn't stop thinking about it so when I saw this video, of course I had to watch. Idk what it is...I just feel like I'm transported to a very old and ancient, but beautiful place. I find it almost jarring to come back to the present. Just so mesmerizing.
I hear you, I felt the same way when I discovered this amazing channel a few months ago and this divine performance by Sanjena Ramesh completely blew me away.
How I love Indian dance and spiritual Indian songs that delight the heart. Long live India, the mother of the world 🙏🇲🇦❤

For all who are new to this form of art . She is trying to tell a story with her dance every hand sign facial expression eye movement is a type of language I am also not a classical expert but this is not easy at all girls who try to master need full dedication towards it...
Astonishing grace and poise - and power and mastery over her dance. I am spellbound!
The music and the dance blend so dope. It’s so real. It seems like it’s been done for millions of years.

The absolute purity of the dancers expression of a message so profound that one need not know the language has captured our imaginations with tears in our eyes. Thanks and Bless Sanjena Ramesh!
This is beautiful. Every hand gesture so precise.
For my humble western look, everything is perfect and bewitching. Bravo to the choreographer
There is no coreografer other than herself. And in Indian classical music and dance nothing is pre-planned.
