@@neomibrown749 See In my case, I've been learning bharatanatyam for the past 10 years and I'm 16 now. and from childhood only I was very fond of dancing that's why I started at a very young age now it will depend from person to person if you have the enthusiasm and consistency you can always start at any age. but according to me it's better to start early as childhood is the base of learning so.. anyways it's your choice.

In background there is traditional music in Sanskrit which describes different forms of Lord Shiva like lord Shiva has 3 eyes, 4 shoulders, lord Shiva is in mediation form etc and Girl is dancing and describing these features of Lord Shiva physically through dance.
Through these traditional knowledge, dancer describes various features of animals, nature, God etc
Everything in this dance looks so beautiful, graceful and perfect. I can't get enough of all these ancient dances. No doubt I was there in a past life, I feel a strong tie with India.

I am really fascinated and devoted to indian classical dance like kathak bharatanatyam I wanted to learn these since I was child but my father was against and suppressed me 😞 I will make my daughter learn these art forms
It's sad to hear but don't lose hope... you can still dance when you'll get younger...... Probably with your daughter

I like how her dance and costume interact, the pleated front panel of her pants almost seems like a peacock tail. Also nice that her fingers and feet are painted red, helps focus on how fine and detailed her movements are. very lovely :)
