I use affinity designer, and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to invert it w/ out the picture turning all white, so i did a work around but this video helped a lot! appreciate it!

thank you for info. I have further question, i want to crop the window capture to show specific section of the screen but when i started crop the rounding effect is vanishing and it becames rectangle again. Do u know how to solve this issue?
when im putting in the "shadow layer" in obs the whole layer is black with 100% opacity and no blur. I dont know what went wrong and i followed your steps in the guide. do anyone know how to fix?
I did take my own mask and then swapped it for yours and it worked. when i take urs first and swap to my old mask it doesnt even show that one properly. weird bug but well now its fixed xD

How would I do a 4:3 square? Instead of 16:9 rectangle?
You can use the same tool to draw a rounded square, just hold down shift when drawing or click manually enter your dimensions

It worked for the full camera view, but if you alt/click it down, it cuts the rounded edges out. How do you fix this? 🤔
You’ll just need to build the mask in photoshop to be the shape and aspect ratio you want so that you don’t need to use the alt click
