U can still open the saddle bags if the truck is locked just stick your hand between the top of saddle bags and bottom of trunk and press the button to open them
FYI. You cam remove the entire saddle bag and top trunk assembly as one unit with only 6 bolts. 2 from the mufflers, loosen 2 lower rear frame bolts for the upper crash bar and 2 rear upper frame assembly bolts.
Sorry but I'm not familiar with a Honda's why didn't you do like I do on my Suzuki and just drop the shock mount Jack the frame up and the back tire drops out the bottom

Mine has a trim piece that prevents you from doing that! Also might be because I have big hands haha.

You're right! But reassembly is difficult without 2 people, and it is just me here!
